Wanted to try something else for my second ever trip to Junction Bar & Grill. I ordered the Thai chicken salad, someone else had the French dip and Grilled chicken sandwich. Everyone commented that they liked their food. For the Thai chicken salad it lacked crunch.....no fried wonton chips, cucumber and the lettuce needs to be cut smaller (kept getting it on my face because the lettuce was cut large. It's fine I can deal with it but those small additions would make that a real winner. Service is always good. It's a bit loud but it's a sports bar so what do you expect.

I came here after a Yelp Elite event for drinks... This is a cool sports bar in Scripps Ranch which is void of places to hang out or watch some sports and have drinks.... Mackenzie was our bartender and she was very friendly and attentive. It seems like they run a lot of different specials for Happy Hour and also daily specials. There were so many I can't remember all of them. I'll definitely be hitting this place for happy hour when baseball season returns.

Wide breadth of bar food and drinks on the menu - from wings to pasta, prime rib; beers, wines, specialty shots and cocktails. Happy hour all day and daily specials. Good service. Dog-friendly! Chips and guacamole were ok - kids liked the multicolor chips (red and green for holidays)? Carne asada fries were solid and massive - great to share or eat as a filling entree! Philly cheesesteak - also massive, super satisfying. Chopped finer than I'd like but that's a personal preference texture thing. With onions, peppers, and provolone IS how I like it though! We ended up sharing the cheesesteak and NOT ordering the tacos I'd intended on getting since we already got the massive carne asada fries but they looked good! Glad to know they can serve it on lettuce for a lighter dish since everything else we ordered was like fries, chips, tots, pizza, pasta... def want to try lettuce tacos next time. We ordered a bunch of food off the kids menu for the kiddos including the pepperoni pizza and it was maybe marginally smaller than an adult pizza - would feed couple adults. Friend loves their wings, said the burgers are NOT good (they were here day before as well), and the chopped Italian salad was good!

Your typical sports bar! The beer is good, and the tacos were alright! I really like the fries and potatoes skins! Service and the deals are good, lots of people on a Tuesday night Parking is plenty and free!

First time here for a quick HH with a coworker. We ordered fried pickles, Brussels sprouts, Junction rib tips and some nachos. I had two old fashioned drinks. Whoever the bartender was that night knew the assignment! Drinks were STRONG.. just how I like them. Normally they use Makers Mark but this not it was made with Bulliet Bourbon. What would I order again, definitely the rib tips and nachos. I would skip on the pickles and Brussels. The rib tips were perfect size and meaty. The bbq sauce was decent. The Nachos are plenty to share and were really good. Customer service was good. It was pretty loud in there so I felt like I was yelling at my friend but that's to be expected at a neighborhood bar. It's walking distance from where I live so I'm pretty sure I will return. I saw a few other things on the menu I want to try. Uber Eats- I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and an Italian chopped salad. I could have done without all the "crispy" whatever they were in the lettuce wraps. They taste like absolutely nothing. The salad was good.

Just visiting from out of town, we found this place during a random online search -- and we're so glad we did! We grabbed seats at the bar, and the bartender was incredibly friendly, upbeat, and attentive. The service was great, and the tater skins were delicious -- a huge portion and definitely worth the price. We'll absolutely be back next time we're in town!

Me again!

The burger didnt hit for me today but i still love the service here and the fact they are dog friendly outside. It was sort of hot today so the day could be nicer. I got the tacos. Can't go wrong with my lettuce wrapped tacos.

Tony is the best bartender. Attentive and makes amazing lemon drop martinis . Food is amazing as well. Love this place

Taco Tuesday: Buffalo Chicken (L) was OK. Grilled fish (R) was better. Both around $5 on Tuesdays.

Wing Wednesday: get the boneless. Much more meat. The on-the-bone wings were some of the smallest I've seen in a while. Service in the back corner to the right was a little spotty. Best to sit in the main part of the restaurant or the bar so you're more visible.

Love the service by hunter! She makes amazing drinks and has great customer service. Food is amazing too. I have nothing bad to say about anything!!! Ambiance is always good too

I finally checked out this spot for brunch on the weekend and was pleasantly surprised! They do brunch until 2pm which I love for the weekend. I have gone with a breakfast sandwich and you get to pick the protein for it. I did sausage and it was so good! It is a pretty big sandwich I only ate half and got to save the rest and I got hash browns on the side. The brunch menu actually has a ton of great options to pick from! I love all of the TVs so we can enjoy baseball or any sport that's on tv that day. Service is super quick and I love sitting at the outside bar area on a nice day.

First time dining here after a game of pickleball. They were able to accommodate 24 of us in our own section and provide separate billing. We had a birthday cake the server was willing to tuck away and bring it out when we were ready. Service was great! I ordered the #DoubleDoubleWagyuSliders and was able to switch out the fries for #TaterTots The sliders were so meaty and stacked high with cheese and grilled onions Very tasty I also ordered #FriedPickleChips I would def come back when in the mood for bar and grill grub. Great place to come watch a sports game too.

You have to be within 7 days of your requested reservation date so as soon as I was closer I set up a reservation through Open Table. They do require a deposit which was fine because it made sure that we had the lanes needed for our party. I actually ended up calling the Tavern and Bowl to see if they had any earlier reservations and they told me if the person who requested an earlier time didn't pay the deposit I'd get the time slot. I am so lucky because these people didn't pay their deposit and we got the time and the lane. Cute thing, you can actually have kids come too, my niece who is 5 got to come along and they had a little device for her so she can push the ball, she ended up beating me. Everyone was so kind and service was so smooth and efficient, we got to bring donuts for our party and my husband and I ordered the carnitas nachos, they were delicious. Seriously such a great time, obviously this is before the Padres season so we lucked out on parking but this is a great place to host birthday parties. Thank you again for letting us have such a great time!

In my opinion, these are some of the best wings in San Diego and the fact that they are grilled makes them even more special. What a way to stand out from traditionally fried wings! They also have a special where if you buy a draft beer, you can add a shot of liquor for only $5 and that isn't a happy hour deal, it's an all day deal. Captain's Log, Stardate 21483…read more This past Sunday, I charted a course to Nicky Rottens in Coronado, a delightful establishment located at the end of Orange Avenue. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by an uplifting open-air environment, truly a breath of fresh air that felt like stepping onto the observation deck of the USS Enterprise. The amazing views of the bay were nothing short of spectacular, bringing a serene beauty that rivals the finest star systems. Over the years, my wife, her girlfriend, and I have become frequent travelers to this culinary haven, beaming back for nearly 15 years--a testament to its enduring allure. The selection of IPAs and mixed drinks is impressive, catering to even the most discerning palates in the galaxy. The choices are vast enough to satisfy anyone embarking on this flavor exploration, whether you prefer a refreshing drink to toast a successful mission or something bolder, like a phaser on stun! The menu features a delightful array of options, including fresh salads, tantalizing finger foods, and, of course, their famed burgers. My wife's enthusiasm for the offerings has always been infectious, and during this visit, she and her girlfriend were on a culinary adventure of their own, indulging in the flavors that have made Nicky Rottens a local favorite. The burgers are truly out of this world--juicy, flavorful, and expertly crafted to ensure a warp-speed experience with every bite. You'll find that each dish is prepared with precision, as if overseen by a skilled chef with the abilities of a Vulcan and the passion of a true culinary Starfleet officer. In conclusion, Nicky Rottens is a prime destination for anyone seeking a vibrant atmosphere, stunning views, and a solid meal. I can confidently say that if you ever find yourself in Coronado, this establishment is a must-visit. After all, it's just one small step for man, and one giant leap into deliciousness!
