Double Smash Burger with Sweet Potato Fries

We were a group of ten and had great service. Our server allowed individual checks with 20% tip but saves the headache of trying to figure out the bill. I was able to switch out the chips for fries on my Carne Asada Nachos. Fries stayed crunchy and I enjoyed my entree. This might become a regular Sunday brunch spot for us because they are very accommodating and just around the corner from my church Great bar and grill and service always nice.

Wanted to try something else for my second ever trip to Junction Bar & Grill. I ordered the Thai chicken salad, someone else had the French dip and Grilled chicken sandwich. Everyone commented that they liked their food. For the Thai chicken salad it lacked crunch.....no fried wonton chips, cucumber and the lettuce needs to be cut smaller (kept getting it on my face because the lettuce was cut large. It's fine I can deal with it but those small additions would make that a real winner. Service is always good. It's a bit loud but it's a sports bar so what do you expect.

If you know me you know that I frequent this spot for any occasion as it is the neighborhood place to be for any sporting event. I normally sit at the bar but recently we went for Father's day brunch and got a table with our lovely server Sam. The brunch menu has gotten smaller but still some great items on it. I enjoy going for lunch and taco Tuesday the fried fish taco is my favorite one also I am a sucker for mini corn dogs so they tend to always be ordered to snack on while we are there. Shay is typically the bartender when I am there and is always super attentive and friendly and always remembering everyone's orders. This spot just feels like home I am sure I will be back again soon!

I came here after a Yelp Elite event for drinks... This is a cool sports bar in Scripps Ranch which is void of places to hang out or watch some sports and have drinks.... Mackenzie was our bartender and she was very friendly and attentive. It seems like they run a lot of different specials for Happy Hour and also daily specials. There were so many I can't remember all of them. I'll definitely be hitting this place for happy hour when baseball season returns.

Wide breadth of bar food and drinks on the menu - from wings to pasta, prime rib; beers, wines, specialty shots and cocktails. Happy hour all day and daily specials. Good service. Dog-friendly! Chips and guacamole were ok - kids liked the multicolor chips (red and green for holidays)? Carne asada fries were solid and massive - great to share or eat as a filling entree! Philly cheesesteak - also massive, super satisfying. Chopped finer than I'd like but that's a personal preference texture thing. With onions, peppers, and provolone IS how I like it though! We ended up sharing the cheesesteak and NOT ordering the tacos I'd intended on getting since we already got the massive carne asada fries but they looked good! Glad to know they can serve it on lettuce for a lighter dish since everything else we ordered was like fries, chips, tots, pizza, pasta... def want to try lettuce tacos next time. We ordered a bunch of food off the kids menu for the kiddos including the pepperoni pizza and it was maybe marginally smaller than an adult pizza - would feed couple adults. Friend loves their wings, said the burgers are NOT good (they were here day before as well), and the chopped Italian salad was good!

Your typical sports bar! The beer is good, and the tacos were alright! I really like the fries and potatoes skins! Service and the deals are good, lots of people on a Tuesday night Parking is plenty and free!

First time here for a quick HH with a coworker. We ordered fried pickles, Brussels sprouts, Junction rib tips and some nachos. I had two old fashioned drinks. Whoever the bartender was that night knew the assignment! Drinks were STRONG.. just how I like them. Normally they use Makers Mark but this not it was made with Bulliet Bourbon. What would I order again, definitely the rib tips and nachos. I would skip on the pickles and Brussels. The rib tips were perfect size and meaty. The bbq sauce was decent. The Nachos are plenty to share and were really good. Customer service was good. It was pretty loud in there so I felt like I was yelling at my friend but that's to be expected at a neighborhood bar. It's walking distance from where I live so I'm pretty sure I will return. I saw a few other things on the menu I want to try. Uber Eats- I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and an Italian chopped salad. I could have done without all the "crispy" whatever they were in the lettuce wraps. They taste like absolutely nothing. The salad was good.

First time here and was disappointed. Ordered the veggie pizza to go, and when we got home we noticed the bottom of the pizza was burnt. It tasted like burnt cardboard and was bitter. Ended up in the trash, waste of money Staff was nice. Mac n cheese appetizer was good too.

stop by to watch the Knicks win the championship. Is a great place to watch a game with a very lively atmosphere. Multitude of TVs and viewing angles and heating options and great bar food.

The burger didnt hit for me today but i still love the service here and the fact they are dog friendly outside. It was sort of hot today so the day could be nicer. I got the tacos. Can't go wrong with my lettuce wrapped tacos.

A bug in between my layers of lettuce.

The "best happy hour" seemed promising, especially a HH all day everyday and it's less than 10 mins from my house. However, although the prices were good they have plenty of options. Two things didn't vibe with me. We ordered the taco salad and I've never had a taco salad that didn't have shredded lettuce, their lettuce was chopped how it's suppose to be in a Ceasar salad but the the flavor profile was there so it's me just being picky. The second thing is probably what won't have us coming back. I ordered their lettuce wraps and the chicken was in chucks like how you would dice it for chicken Alfredo. But I'm sorry I shouldn't have to dice the chunks of chicken, it should have come chopped way more... but again that isn't my bone to pick. There was a bug in my lettuce, because they take a head of lettuce and chop it in half and give you a the half. But it's all stuck together like I legit had to peel each layer back, I got through 2 wraps before I went to peel another piece of lettuce and I saw the bug, legs and all. Usually they peel each lettuce layer for you and wash them to avoid this. So all I thought was did they even wash my lettuce.. then when I brought it up to my server, I was told I'm sorry but nothing to rectify the situation. So here I am paying full price for something I didn't even get to finish. Attached the picture for reference. May be I'll be back but def not to this location.

Me and Hubby went on a Friday afternoon July 3rd so the bar was packed with regulars I'm sure. We opted to sit on the patio we wanted to try the food. The patio was nice and cool and dog friendly. Our waitress sat us right away and was very friendly. We got the potatoes skins that were quite delish and piping hot! The had some great bacon green onions and a great amount of cheddar cheese. I wanted the tequila pasta and saw that it was marked a popular item. I asked the waitress and she said it was great and the most popular so I ordered it with Blackened Salmon. My Hubby ordered the fish and chips. Everything came out looking fire! It was piping hot and didn't take long to arrive. The pasta and Salmon were perfect. I noticed there were no salt and pepper on the table so I was like ok they must know their seasoning is already good! So I too a bite of the pasta peppers onions and salmon in one bite and.... Way too salty and that's too bad because folks of a certain hue LOVE seasoning but it was seasoned properly but too salty. My husband's fish was on the opposite not seasoned enough and way too much batter. I did taste his fish and I thought it was good. The overall experience was great. This is a very cute place and the menu was great. They offered food specials weekly so that was cute. I can see how this is a neighborhood fave. It's close to many apartment complexes and some businesses in the Scripps Ranch area.

Just visiting from out of town, we found this place during a random online search -- and we're so glad we did! We grabbed seats at the bar, and the bartender was incredibly friendly, upbeat, and attentive. The service was great, and the tater skins were delicious -- a huge portion and definitely worth the price. We'll absolutely be back next time we're in town!

Taco Tuesday: Buffalo Chicken (L) was OK. Grilled fish (R) was better. Both around $5 on Tuesdays.

Great recommendations, super genuine and fun, had the best energy and was CONSTANTLY checking in on us; however, a couple of the other workers could have been a little bit more open with communication. We were sitting against the window at the high top wraparound bar tables (feels like an extension of the bar), so the bar is easy to order from and was our go to as soon as we arrived. The bartender took our order, but was standoffish as if we were doing something foreign or a big "no no". Finally the server in charge of our area told us that the bartenders are in charge of the bar and there are other servers for all the other tables/zones. If we were told that from the beginning, we would have made sure to follow the order of the place and order from the correct server. A few of us truly felt bad, but now we know when we go in next time what to expect. Barleymash is always a great time, so we always want to make sure we are doing it right! I truly recommend sitting anywhere else but that window/wall on a packed night, but sometimes you have to deal with what you are lucky enough to get!

When I entered the restaurant around 7:00 PM, I was stopped and questioned extensively by security regarding my service animal. Rather than being asked the limited ADA-compliant questions permitted by law, the interaction became prolonged and uncomfortable while staff repeatedly attempted to determine whether my dog was a "real" service animal or simply an emotional support animal. I remained waiting at the entrance while this was repeatedly discussed back and forth. What made the situation especially humiliating was that another patron openly laughed at me during the interaction while walking outside for a cigarette. I later realized this same patron had her own dog inside the establishment in a stroller the entire time. Staff members appeared very familiar and comfortable with her, and multiple employees, including my waitress- referred to her as a "regular." Although her dog was eventually moved to the patio area, the contrast in how the situations were handled made me feel singled out, embarrassed, and unfairly scrutinized. I later spoke with management in hopes of resolving the matter respectfully. During that conversation, I was surprised and concerned to hear that neither management nor staff were familiar with psychiatric service animals or their protections under the ADA. Psychiatric service animals are legally recognized service animals when trained to perform disability-related tasks, and this lack of awareness was deeply concerning, especially in a city like San Diego with a large disabled and veteran community. I fully understand that businesses are allowed to ask limited ADA-compliant questions regarding service animals, and I also understand that many establishments have dealt with individuals falsely claiming pets as service animals. However, there is a significant difference between appropriately verifying a service animal and making a disabled customer feel publicly interrogated and humiliated. The overall handling of this interaction lacked professionalism, sensitivity, and basic understanding of ADA service animal protections. No customer should feel mocked, scrutinized, or publicly embarrassed simply for entering a restaurant with a legitimate service animal. I sincerely hope this situation can serve as an opportunity for additional ADA education and proper service animal training for staff moving forward so that other disabled guests do not experience similar treatment. I would appreciate being informed of any steps the restaurant intends to take regarding ADA compliance and staff training before I determine how I would like to proceed further. Thank you for your time and attention.

The selection of IPAs and mixed drinks is impressive, catering to even the most discerning palates in the galaxy. The choices are vast enough to satisfy anyone embarking on this flavor exploration, whether you prefer a refreshing drink to toast a successful mission or something bolder, like a phaser on stun! The menu features a delightful array of options, including fresh salads, tantalizing finger foods, and, of course, their famed burgers.
