Amazing food. Unbelievable quality and taste on the complimentary salsa. PORK BELLY tacos are an explosion of flavor in your mouth, tequila chicken tacos good, "El Chapo" pork chops very tasty. No room for dessert because the portions are very generous. Rice and beans too salty. Esquite, excellent but it is essentially street corn on a cob. Typically Esquite traditionally is completely different. Service amazing from beginning to end, we came at early lunch so it was not busy and we got a chance to appreciate the place. A bit loud so when it gets busier I'm sure it is a challenge. Bianca is the sweetest, friendly and professional, and remembers every detail. Takes care of you, without burdening with questions and keeps checking from afar. read more

Very underwhelmed with this new spot. The food was not very good and it was overpriced.

This place has average Mexican food, over priced margaritas, awful service, and completely incompetent management. Hopefully they can figure it out. read more

First time at Flecha. Tim the bartender was fantastic. He explained everything went the extra mile. As a chef guy, I was so impressed and working down the street I'm gonna tell everyone how much of an upgrade this place is from the previous establishment. Flecha is fantastic, sophisticated, and still down to earth. Food is good quality, we sampled the taquitos. Cocktails are cutting edge. Especially Mark's Old Fashioned with the smoke. Cool vibe and great music! read more

I would love to give Flecha five stars but it could use some improvement. We had the queso birria tacos, nachos with chicken, and the Cadillac tacos with rice and beans. It was all absolutely delicious. We also thought the queso and chips were delicious. The salsa was ok. It was mostly tomatoes with no kick or spice. It did look like it was freshly made so we appreciated that. I took off one star because the service needs improvement. We saw a lot of servers walking around but not really checking in with us. We had to ask two different servers for extra chips. Our waitress was ok but never came to check on us after our food was served. The ambiance was ok. It still looked like Miguel's with lots of fake plants. I think a few real plants would liven up the space. read more

Solid Mexican restaurant with a fun & flirty ambiance in the heart of 4S. Cocktails in the lobby, tons of chips/salsa, and flavorful entrees. Family-friendly too. Service (Eddie!) was wonderful. Will be back!! read more

The service was great and the Salsa was surprisingly good. Besides that there isn't much positive. The enchiladas were just ok. The rice and beans were not good at all. The price is the killer. For subpar food you won't be able to last long. read more

Eddie was an excellent server! The restaurant was super busy, but he gave my family and I extraordinary service that went above and beyond. He was very attentive and catered to all of our needs without any hesitation. My husband took me to Flecha for my birthday and we were excited to try Flecha. We are big fans of South of Nicks and Javiers. Unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. When we walked in we weren't acknowledged or greeted for awhile as the hostess was on the phone for quite awhile. Once we were seated our server was very aggressive and overly friendly in a bad way. He eventually toned it down to match our style. The food was good but because of our initial interactions with the staff it made the overall dinner less than we would have wanted to celebrate a birthday. The birthday was not even acknowledged by anyone even though it was stated in the online reservation. No plans to return here but wish them luck if they can learn how to provide a better experience. read more

Our party of nine dined here on Friday, February 13, 2026. Up until the time to pay, the experience was enjoyable. Unfortunately, what happened with the payment process has completely overshadowed what should have been a pleasant evening. When it came time to pay, our server explained there was no Wi-Fi connection and ran our cards multiple times, assuring us the transactions were not processing. In total, four transactions were attempted across multiple cards before a fifth transaction was finally run on a third card to settle the bill. We were clearly told the earlier attempts had not gone through and would not process. The following day, every one of those transactions appeared on our bank statements. We returned to the restaurant on Sunday, February 15, to address the issue in person and spoke with the manager on duty, Manny. He told us he would research the situation and follow up later that day or the next. As of March 10, we have received no follow-up, no communication, and no resolution. As a result of the duplicate charges, our bank froze and canceled our debit cards, which created a significant inconvenience. We were forced to file chargebacks for the incorrect transactions. While we initially received temporary credits, the funds were later removed again because the bank stated the chargeback was invalid since services were rendered. To be very clear: we are not disputing the bill for our meal--we are disputing being charged multiple times for it. Technical issues can happen in any business. What should not happen is a complete lack of communication or follow-through when a customer returns in good faith to resolve a clear billing error. As someone who works in the hospitality industry at a nearby resort, I understand how important accountability and guest service are. It is extremely disappointing that after nearly a month there has been no response or effort to resolve this matter. Until this issue is addressed, it will be difficult for us to recommend this establishment to guests or colleagues. read more

I don't normally do this but if I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service SUCKED. Went in for happy hour. We order some drinks and appetizer but only got served our appetizer. I figured our drinks will be coming in a few minutes but never did. The bartender (Nick)moved on to serve other customers and failed to acknowledge our missing drinks after waiting for some time.Chillies restaurant would have never provided that kind of service as Flecha did!! read more

Wow!!! Wow!!! Wow!!! You got to try this place! We haven't been here since it was Miguel's. That was a dismal night out. We vowed never to come back. BUT Flecha is just what we needed! We were greeted with a "welcome watermelon margarita" upon check in. Our waiter, Anthony, couldn't have been more helpful and personable. He knew the entire menu and ingredients like the back of his hand and didn't need to go ask someone about substituting. Anthony just made our requests happen! Fresh warm chips with queso blanco and salsa wer hit the table immediately. Try the Flecha Frosty in your favorite flavor. It won't disappoint! We had the fajita platter for two. It was a huge wooden tray with more than plenty of food for two. Sides of marinated vegetables and guacamole and cheese with rice and beans and warm hand-made tortillas. Outstanding! And save room for the strawberry butter cake. OMG! It's the small things that add up to the big things. Greeters coming and going. We were thanked for visiting. There was a team spirit as empty dishes were whisked away by passing workers. We waited or wanted for nothing. This is restauranting at its best. They thought of everything. From bird net over the entire patio dinning area, to lush plants and big fire pits. Signature logo lamp sconces. Impeccable service. Best triple AAA rating I can give. We loved everything about this place and you will too! read more

Why is it great? Happy Hour! While the food and beverage choices are limited on the Happy Hour menu and the noise level is up there, the food and service were fantastic. I had quesadllas and soft tacos with chickens, the tacos were outstanding, quesadillas very good but needed the delicious salsa and/or cheese sauce that was provided by great chips. My house wine was $10 and was good value, very quaffable, beer choices were ok and $6 at Happy Hour. Service by Faith was flawless, big smile, gracious server, very attentive! read more

First trip to Flecha in 4S Ranch. Excellent food and service. Our server Eddie was the best. The nachos appetizer was my favorite dish.

Eddie our waiter was very nice and made our dining experience alot of fun. Great service.

My experience at the 4S Ranch location (formerly Miguel's, now Flecha) was completely unacceptable and a total waste of time. We waited over 15 minutes just to have someone acknowledge us, after we asked for our server, and bring a simple glass of water. While our server was polite, the overall service was extremely poor. We ordered Carne Asada but were served chicken instead. When we questioned the mistake, we were told that "the price is the same," which was a very inappropriate response. We were then told we would receive a free dessert as compensation. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. The food was cold, the wait was excessive, and the bill was incorrect. I have never encountered a restaurant where chicken and steak are priced the same. After reviewing the menu myself, I confirmed that they are not. I brought this discrepancy to their attention. Also, they charged us the next table drinks! Although we were offered a $25 gift card, I returned it to the manager, as I do not feel confident in the management or oversight at this establishment. Based on this experience, I will not be returning. read more

I used to go to Miguel's all the time. They did nothing inside to change the scenery. The food is just okay but the prices are ridiculous. Bulleit bourbon for $17?! Tacos for over $20? And what's up with the orange refried beans... I won't be back until it crashes and burns and is reborn into something worth going to. read more

Service was amazing. Our server was so kind and attentive, as much as they could be on a busy Friday night. The food was good as well. The reason for my two star review is because of their management ... I was looking around the restaurant, talking to my family about how the employees looked very stressed and hard working. I then see one of the managers walking around on his phone and then sitting down on the couches in the main walk way continuing to text and relax... MID Friday rush. I know it was a manager because when he finally got up he was speaking with employees, standing where the food was coming out, and because of what he was wearing. Towards the end of my meal he sat down again to text. Now everyone has their own life to deal with, but texting and relaxing on the couches while your staff is working hard is not a professional look. To preface, I have worked in restaurants before, so this sightly touched a nerve with how many managers like this I have worked with. I would definitely come back and support the staff and the food, but specific management may need some resolve. I wish I remembered the name of my server to give them some positive recognition. My final words for that manager on the couch, if you have time to lean, you have time to support your team. read more

Enjoyed Flecha tonight. Our servers Sophia and Ivan were great, attentive and came up with great suggestions. The food was a bit pricey but portions were very large. We had two enchilada plates with rice and beans which were very flavorful. Also tried the street corn which didn't seem like a huge production but tasted really good. The Cadillac margarita was nice and went down easy. Overall recommend and will be a great addition to the neighborhood. Much better than its predecessor in terms of taste and quality. read more

The short ribs were cooked perfectly--so tender and juicy, they melted in my mouth. The mashed potatoes were excellent, and the Bbq pork ribs flavor was outstanding. As a local resident, dining for the first time here. I was sadly underwhelmed. For a Happy Hour and Taco Tuesday. The menu was very weak and void of choices. 2 tiny tacos, is best they can offer. Not a single draft IPA offered on the Happy Hour. However, our server was delightful. Can't see this restaurant lasting a year. Boy do I miss Miguels. CW read more

My friends and I went there for happy hour tonight, but there was nothing happy about it. The service was horrible! I got there before my friends. The server didn't come to me until I sat down like 20 minutes later. No water, no chips! The margarita I ordered was just ok. I asked for a spicy one, and it was not spicy at all. My friends had to place their order of ice tea and guacamole twice because our server forgot about them the first time. 20 minutes later she came to us with nothing, and asked us if we needed anything! Yes, we need our drink and food that you forgot! My friends had to ask her again! She paid hardly any attention to our group. We had to ask her for napkins twice, too. We all agreed that we are not going back there. read more

The service was excellent. Our server, Reagan, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The Mole Enchiladas were outstanding and honestly some of the best I've ever had at a restaurant. If you're from Boston, this might pass as Mexican food. But in San Diego? This is a culinary hate crime. The old Miguel's space is still there just rebranded and moodier, and pretending to be "upscale." They even kept the free chips, queso, and salsa, which was the only thing that felt remotely Cali-Mex. Now, let's get into Flecha, a restaurant aiming for "innovative Mexican cuisine" and landing somewhere between 1990s El Torito and a Cheesecake Factory fever dream. The menu can't decide if it wants to be Mexican, American, or just chaotic--risotto, pork chops, baby back ribs, fajitas, nachos, and tacos all thrown together like an identity crisis. We started with the Flecha and Prickly Pear Margaritas which were solid cocktails, nice presentation with the Tajin rim and a flower on mine. This was the best part of our dining experience. We ordered "pork belly flautas" for the table expecting thin and crispy rolled tacos and got... a single fried pork burrito impersonating a chimichanga covered in sauce and cilantro. If the server hadn't said "flautas," I wouldn't have known. Then came the $20 "tableside street corn," which is apparently one ear of grilled corn slowly cut off the cob and tossed with sauce heavy on the lime juice. What was missing from our elotes was queso cotija, crema, and flavor. The potato-poblano soup? Bold of them to call it soup. What arrived was a bowl of tepid, congealed mashed potatoes with big chunks of potato. No poblano chiles or seasoning. I only could manage a single bite, same as my dining companion, we asked them to take it away. Two managers came to our table to see for themselves and agreed it was not soup consistency. They removed the "soups" from our bill but did not suggest a replacement. The Cadillac tacos were supposed to be a signature dish served with rice and beans. The tortillas glued flat to the plate were piled with a mixture of carne asada, shrimp, and cheese. The beef was tough, the tortillas were chewy, and apparently in Boston tacos require a fork and knife. The beans were the consistency of paste and tasted like they came straight out of the can. The Mexican rice was the typical orange color but lacked seasoning and any hint of tomato. The service was kind, the cocktails were decent, but we did not stay for dessert because we wanted to save our dignity. Mark Wahlberg, please stick to acting. Or burgers. Or literally anything other than Mexican food. read more
