The team communicated with me over email and provided a pre-move questionnaire along with an initial estimate. That initial estimate was literally half of what another highly-rated company gave me (and it didn't include a bunch of "gotcha" fees like a $75 fuel surcharge and $90 for wrapping up some items). Steve called me a few hours before expected to let me know that their morning move had some complications, and that they'd be a little bit later than anticipated. He also gave me another call to let me know when they were on their way -- I greatly appreciated the communication! Upon arrival, Steve and Sean walked through my house with me so I could show them what was staying in the house and what I would need moved. They confirmed the estimate, and got to work immediately. It was over 100 in the miserable Sacramento County heat, yet they powered through it with their great senses of humor and outgoing personalities. They were able to safely and securely fill the 26 foot truck within two hours. Upon arriving at my new house, we walked through so that we could get a common terminology for which rooms were which so I could direct where the furniture would go. They were able to unload everything in under 90 minutes, even with the difficulty of getting a couch around a tight corner -- without making any scuff marks like they were concerned might come up. From start to finish, it was the four hours that they estimated, and before they left, they had me talk to their boss on the phone to make sure I was satisfied. As you can tell by this essay I've written, I was more than satisfied with the incredible job they did and the care they took in moving things into my home. Prior to the recent emergency, she was living independently with a friend. The friend is a male and is also elderly. He is a bit of a hoarder and it is now no longer safe for her to be living with him there. Brian and Jacob with Moving with Grace helped us move her out of the hoarder house and into her own apartment at an assisted living facility. The friend knew we were coming with movers at 0830 to move the furniture out. We rang the doorbell and there was no answer. It was so quiet, I thought the house was empty. So, we enter the house and they guys get right to work. Shortly after they had started wrapping up the furniture, the friend, walks out of the bathroom in a night dress!! So weird and creepy considering he knew we were coming. And very mortifying. The house itself is very filthy and disgusting. There is thick dust and clumps of cat hair everywhere!! Brian and Jacob were both very polite and friendly and pretended it was not disgusting. They were professional and worked diligently despite the filth. They wrapped everything up nicely and got everything loaded up quite quickly. Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

I…read morehired 3 movers and when they arrived, the main guy (Eric) convinced me to hire a 4th mover because it would help them finish sooner. He even tried to upcharge me for the 4th mover but luckily I saved the quote that Alex gave me. Well it took 11.5 hours (not including their lunch break) with 4 movers and they still didn't move everything. We just had to stop the time because it was getting so late. 3 of the guys were nice and they did most of the work, but Eric was a bit pushy and was always on his phone or going on a break. They took too many breaks (lasting 15-20 min each) and their lunch break was 2 hours. So they were off to a slow start in the morning. I really did not like that Eric tried to convince me to go to Home Depot to buy more moving boxes because they didn't have enough. As a moving company, you should have enough boxes. They were careful with my stuff, wrapping everything very carefully, but they were slow. They didn't clean anything up after they were done, left their cans, bottles, runner paper throughout the house. All in all, they were okay. Just really slow. This job should not have taken 11.5 hours

Nicole and her husband are amazing and seem to really care about the company taking care of their customers. I scheduled a move fairly close to my move date and they were able to come out same day for a quote. The quote was very competitive and came with a large trailer. The day before the move she called to let me know something was preventing the trailer from getting to us but that they'd provide two trucks (more room) no charge instead. The crew was very friendly and efficient. They wrapped our items well as promised, packed the truck thoughtfully, and worked hard. They showed up on time and delivered on time.
