Huge thank-you to the Faulkner Brothers for making it a breeze to downsize my storage unit!…read more Last year I rented a 10x10 storage unit to hold some old furniture I couldn't donate and many boxes of family photos. I was having a hard time figuring out what to do with the furniture so it sat and sat until it became clear that I needed to junk the furniture and get the rest of the stuff into a smaller unit. I was dreading the idea of moving all the furniture myself, but fortunately I found the Faulkner Brothers and gave them a call! They were flexible and scheduled a convenient weekend morning appointment. They met me at the storage place with a truck, trailer, and all the tools needed to get the job done. I got to stand around and chat while they quickly and efficiently got the furniture out of the unit and loaded up. It took way less time than I thought AND they fit all the furniture in the trailer like it was nothing. Then to top it off they moved the remaining boxes into the smaller unit before driving off to dump the furniture. The cost was incredibly reasonable and I think they saved me an entire afternoon with their expertise. I cannot thank them enough for taking a chore that I have been dreading and turning it into a pleasant morning pit stop on what ended up being a lovely Saturday. Highly recommend their services, I will be using them again!

Everyone on the crew was respectful and hardworking, and they made sure to protect the floors and antique furniture throughout the process. My family has used and referred Frank to others many times, but the lack of concern and care for my furniture simply cannot be overlooked. The moving process was smooth. Frank's guys where nice fun personable etc. My move was a lot of work of which I paid a nice $1200 for on 1/5. Everything was peachy and I was super satisfied UNTIL I discovered that my very expensive Cal King Footboard drawer was not reassembled the way it should have been. Frank's guys took apart my bed and did not put it together properly. I contacted Frank as soon as I discovered the issue on 1/9. He ignored me for days, then requested pics on 1/12 because "nobody can recall doing damage to your drawer" ... well DUH ! of course, they aren't going to admit it. So, better than pics I sent him a video showing how the left drawer functions the way it should vs how my "damaged" drawer does not function properly. CRICKETS! Seven days later on 1/19 he responded claiming to have been out of town and requested to come by the next day 1/20; I agreed. Here it is 2/2/21 and I have not heard a PEEP from Frank. NOTHING....ZIP...ZILCH...NADA! My drawer is still jacked up and he has not taken responsibility or made good on his word to rectify the issue, nor has he even responded to my text messages since 1/19. In addition, he moved my mom in mid-December and he himself broke two of her drawers. Only fixed one and has yet to make good on fixing the other. She paid him upwards of $800+. If you have furniture that has to be taken apart you may want to go with a more commercial moving company with a reputation they care about. I will NEVER refer or support Frank's business again.

Regardless, Moving with Caution and Care was available for my local move in June. Unfortunately, I don't remember the names of the two movers that helped me, but they were great. They arrived on time, were very polite, and adhered to the social distancing/masking guidelines. Everything really was handled with caution and care. They took their time with larger pieces of furniture, ensuring items were wrapped up with blankets if necessary and the walls were not scuffed up. Despite this, they were quick and efficient at loading and unloading. The price ended up being much lower than I had anticipated (score!). I'll definitely use Moving with Caution and Care in the future!

Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I've ever had with a moving service…read more First and foremost, I clearly told the representative, who is also the owner, that we had 16-20 pallets that needed to be moved. He told me a 26-foot truck would be sufficient. I trusted that he knew what he was doing, but it wasn't even close. The truck couldn't accommodate everything, which meant multiple trips and additional costs... seemed like a money grab. When I questioned the situation, he was rude "what do want to do" and claimed that he had sent me an email with the truck size, based on my request. What he denied, was that I provided the weight and number of pallets, he actually called me a liar. To be clear we had discussed the number of pallets directly, weight and number of trips and I was given a specific recommendation based on that conversation and quote. To make matters worse, the truck arrived with boxes and other materials taking up valuable space that could have been used for our move. That only compounded the problem and ultimately contributed to us canceling the reservation. Overall, this was a really disappointing experience. Mistakes happen, but what bothered me most was the lack of accountability and the way the situation was handled afterward. I'm willing to pay more for a professional moving company, but I shouldn't have to pay extra because of poor planning and then be told something happened that simply didn't. I would not use this company again.
