Hello, the wonderful staff at my favorite restaurant Americano!…read moreHappy Easter to all! Such meaningful Holiday was celebrated by all this Easter of 2026! The place was packed with well dressed people! It was like one happy family came to celebrate life! My boyfriend and I came for a Sunday brunch! We were there for dinner the night before on Saturday and truly enjoyed the food, especially a lovely surprise- 2 singing guitar players! I could sing along every song they played! I had my favorite antipasto salad, chicken Marsala with mushrooms, my boyfriend had the wedge salad, chicken parmigiana, and for desert we shared the amazing napoleon.. I learned that their pastry chef bakes fresh pastries every morning! I also love the coconut cake - it's amazing! I want to thank everyone who worked so hard to create a special Valentine's party! Every woman received a long stem white or red rose in its own water holder! There were rose petals on the floor and every song played was a Love song! What a lovely touch making every woman so special! I truly felt loved! And thank you for a special Valentine menu, which included heart shaped ravioli, heart shaped pizza, special $8.00 non- alcoholic drinks with little marshmallows in them.. The place was booked for Valentine's! Every table was taken! Dear Americano! Thank you for creating such an amazing place that makes me feel like home every time! I enjoyed the 8 piece Latin band.. I even got to dance a bit.. Keep up the good work! Im grateful to have a place like this right here in Bayonne, practically in my back yard.. I can listen to live jazz without traveling to NYC! Dear Lance! Thank you for such brave idea to create a James Bond/Hollywood style restaurant! Bayonne really needed that! Sometimes when I'm there I get confused, thinking I'm in NY City! And I can actually walk home! Amen! I can't wait for May 19th jazz group - Champion Fulton - a lady jazz pianist who sounds like Billy Holiday, great saxophone player - recording artists from NYC. It's my boyfriend's birthday .. he licked out! Thank you! Sophia

Montville, NJ - a packed restaurant full of locals at dinner hour is always a promising sign, and…read morewe rolled in on a Thursday evening around 7 to find ourselves miraculously sliding into the last two parking spots AND the only open table, woot! [Blowing on my nails.] The menu is a mix of American comfort food and gastropub classics, but with flair, and has a bit of everything to satisfy different palates. Our eyes were probably bigger than our stomachs as we ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails, and it was an enormous amount of food. The portions are definitely what you'd call hearty, and everything was very tasty. Thursdays are all day happy hour so we picked the fried calamari appetizer at the HH price (still a full and generous plate and didn't seem like a downsized version) which were tender and well-battered, as well as the hot honey wings which were meaty and substantial. The short rib parpadelle with housemade pasta and a perfectly medium-rare, well seasoned hanger steak with truffle fries completed our satisfying and belly-stuffing meal. The cocktails are serious as well - the presence of a drink with egg white is my personal litmus test for a bar that knows what it's doing, so the Thyme to Bloom special had my name on it. I'm salivating just looking at photos of dishes I didn't order, and am already plotting my return!

The wedge salad is just absolutely drowning in their homemade blue cheese, and thank god for that because I could drink it straight. The spicy mami cocktail was delicious, as was the chocolate martini.

All of the food including Irish Beef Stew, a Dublin Burger, Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, Philly Cheesesteak, French Dip, a Sliced Steak Sandwich, & a Grilled Chicken Italian Sandwich were delicious. We had some appetizers, as well- French Onion Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup & Buffalo Fingers-all good. Many of us brought home part of the meals because of the generous portion sizes. Our server, Samantha, kept our glasses filled & was very attentive. She went above and beyond by bringing the birthday cake out with lighted candles and then cutting the cake into individual pieces-thanks Samantha! I recommend the Grasshopper without hesitation.

I ordered a French Dip with au jus sauce. They put cheese on it! French Dips do NOT have cheese…read moreon them. I sent it back and told them to take the cheese off. The au jus sauce tasted like soup out of a can - very salty, too. The French Fries were old and tasteless. The pickle was old, and the cole slaw was nothing but a teeny, tiny plastic cup of water with tiny bits of cabbage floating on top. I have never, ever been more disappointed in a restaurant. The server got several bills mixed up at the end of the meal. Fortunately for me, I paid in cash; but others who paid with credit cards had a terrible time. We drove there from West Milford. When we first walked in, we could smell bleach!

Came with all the right sauce and the fries were good but the sandwich was incredible! The best one I've had so far! The service was great and quick. I was surprised how fast they worked and the quality was great. I'd recommend they put that sandwich on the menu permanently! As far as ambience goes it's a bar. Nothing fancy but it's comfortable. I totally recommend this place and especially the prime rib sandwich on the pizza bread.

We had trouble deciding on which pizzas to order (they all looked delicious) but finally decided on the Red Red Vine (fire roasted grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, olive oil, & balsamic drizzle) and the Porta Bella (portabella, mushroom, spinach, roasted pepper, fresh mozzarella, & balsamic drizzle). Both were fantastic and perfectly cooked - the mushrooms were fresh (not canned, thank goodness). Also - I'm kind of a sucker for a good crust and this HAD IT ((chefs kiss)). Can't wait to come back!! As a side note -- there are two separate entrances... the front entrance is to the dining room and the back entrance is to the bar. I don't think you can access them both without going outside (but you'd have to confirm with the staff).

Food: We started with garlic bread that was absolutely awesome, followed by grilled octopus with a perfectly balanced, succulent marinade. I had shrimp with pasta, while my mother-in-law enjoyed a fillet of sole stuffed with crab meat and my wife had the cavatelli with broccoli. Everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. Service: Our waitress, Casey, was excellent. Always checking in and very polite throughout the meal. She made the whole dining experience feel welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. Aesthetic: The restaurant has a warm, inviting look with stonework accents along the walls and an open barn-style concept. The lighting creates a comfortable atmosphere, and there's plenty of seating for both small groups and larger gatherings.

My husband and I split the Florentine Omelette with hashbrowns and the Ricotta Pancakes. The omelette was tasty, though the potatoes weren't quite my style. The restaurant itself has a bright, open feel and would make a great spot for a private event.

A few of us had been talking about trying it for a while, and it totally lived up to the hype. The vibe inside was welcoming and comfortable, and the whole hot pot experience made lunch feel like something fun and different instead of just a quick meal. We picked a broth and then ordered a bunch of meats, vegetables, and noodles to share. Everything tasted really fresh, and the broth was full of flavor from the start and got even better as we kept cooking. It's the kind of place where you end up trying a little bit of everything, and it's perfect for a group because everyone can customize their own bites. We also appreciated that it didn't feel rushed, even though it was lunchtime. Service was great too. The staff was friendly, checked on us often enough without hovering, and helped explain options for anyone who hadn't done hot pot before. That made a big difference, especially with a bigger group. By the time we finished, we were already talking about coming back. I definitely plan to return soon with my family, and I can also see myself bringing a few colleagues here as well. It's a great spot for catching up, doing a casual group lunch, or just getting a really satisfying meal.
