The Breakfast Bin is offering pancakes, waffles, coffee & juices, and breakfast bowls. Their rice bowl consisted of egg (the way you wanted it) and an option to upgrade your meal with a brewed coffee or talangka rice. Here's what we had: Liempo Strips (P160) Talangka Rice (upgrade, addt'l P55) Breakfast Bin Tapa Bowl Extra Brown Rice (P55) Cappuccino (P80) Extra Bacon Strips (P55- 3 pcs) Let's start with my coffee. It was the foamiest cappuccino I've had in ages! If you're the type who wants your coffee with heaps of creamer (or milk) on it, then this is the right choice for you. I'd tell you a secret. Finish your coffee all the way down and you'll realize that they have added a cocoa on your usual cappuccino cup! No wonder my coffee was tastier than ever. Liempo strips were served with 2 condiments placed in a shot glass - maple syrup & BB's homemade vinegar. The former brought out the flavors of the strips. Hail to it being the recommended dish by Spot.Ph! The tapa bowl with brown rice was amazing as well. My partner is very selective with the dishes but she commended the tapa. It was juicy, tender and has it's own flavor. We were billed around P500 for 2, exclusive of service charge. Is there any way you would expand the place to cater group diners?

But the food is still the food. So on to that: - Beef Tapa: My favourite dish of the meal. Beef was tender, thinly sliced, with that perfect tangy-sweet flavour balance. - Sardine and Sundried Tomato Pasta: Strong flavours that perfectly matched. Generous amount of sardines and studied tomatoes went well with the al dente pasta. A wonderfully done pasta by a place I associate with breakfast food. - Crispy Plain Waffles: Pretty tasty on its own (which is a good sign), though a bit too crispy and chewy for me. - Pancakes: Soft and pillowy. Definitely preferred these to the waffles. - Spinach, Mushroom and Cheese Omelette: The omelette was melt-in-your-mouth fluffy. Unfortunately it was also a bit bland. Good amount of cheese but would have liked more mushrooms and spinach. - Hazelnut Coffee: Strong hazelnut taste. Appreciated that it wasn't watered down. Service was attentive and efficient. Prices are fairly reasonable. And again, that beautiful space to laze the mornings away. A delightful spot overall.

I also tried their buko-lychee sherbet, and it was perfect: not too sweet & refreshingly light! I've tried their other breakfast items as well, such as the adobo flakes, corned beef (tastes like Purefoods), and French toast, which is really yummy! Most of their breakfast meals allow dinners to choose between garlic or plain rice, rice or toast (kind of dry and hard, though), and scrambled or sunny-side up eggs. On my latest visit, I learned that they now also offer lunch and dinner meals. They also have a variety of drinks, and I do not recommend the strawberry-calamansi because it tastes like medicine with no hint of calamansi at all.

Sinubukan namin ang US tapa at home-made embutido rice meals pati na rin Waffles with syrup and blueberry.

The pastries are also made from local Filipino fruits and root crops. The chefs are mindful of presentation, as if this was a fine dining restaurant. Even the slice of Ube Overload cake is on a black slate slab! It is the only place where we can bring fresh Philippine mangoes and have them sliced open, as the fruit is not on their fruits platter menu. It's weird because no one talks about it but yes, you can find us there all together once a year. Though I do visit this branch more often than once a year since I like how the place looks (like a doll house) both on the inside and outside. I think this place can accommodate slightly more people than the other branches but I could be wrong. I love their desserts and their baked goodies specially their Bacon empanada. Yes, please! The winning dish for me here is their Paella and their roast beef. But more often than not, I get their breakfast options since I am a breakfast person. Definitely worth a try! I used to frequent their branch along C5 since it used to be on the way to my school. My usual order was their Shepherd's Pie. Nothing special really, but it was just the simple taste of a home cooked meal that made me love it. Yesterday, I decided to order something different. Having been away from home for a few weeks, my taste buds were craving for something Pinoy. They now have an All Day Breakfast menu which includes my favorite Filipino Breakfast, beef tapa. I honestly wasn't expecting much, nor was I expecting service to be so quick, but when I first laid my eyes on the plate, I knew it had to be good! Now, for tapa, I like to make sure that I've got all aspects in my spoon. First the garlic rice, then a part of the egg, then some tapa dipped in vinegar, and to top it all off... Atchara! And that first bite? Maaaaan. That first bite. It was heaven. I fell in love. It was like a beef tapa bacon. Tasty, salty and crunchy. It was so good that whenever my boyfriend would ask for a bite, I would let him get a spoonful with a heavy heart. I absolutely did not want to share my food! Mom & Tina's definitely became part of my Best Tapas in town list!

While I am amazed at how many people dine every morning at this restaurant, I was never amused by their line of dishes. I was, however, adorably delighted by their set-up and service. Stepping into the restaurant is much like stepping into an American country home with wooden tables and chairs and pretty pieces of ornaments. Their staff was spot-on, the kind of service that you would love to wake up to every morning. I just wish that they could offer a more exciting line-up of food.

The Breakfast Table, located within the compound of the hearty Maginhawa, and sets itself apart due to its rustic atmosphere, comfy chairs, country-style furniture, and most importantly, its scrumptious food. When you order, instead of the waiters/waitresses asking and listing down your orders, you would be given a menu sheet and you will be asked to check your own order! (For the FIlipino Menu only, as far as I can recall) Now these are my recommendations for the food: the giant pancake, which takes up the entire entree plate; anything that has their muffins on it, and the Filipino breakfast menu, especially the one with Danggit fish on it! They also have special sauces, such as the muscovado sugar dip, which is, in my opinion, a definitely Filipino trademark! Spend the time there as long as you want, you'll still feel welcomed by their very warm staff.
