We are visiting south Florida and Flanigan's was recommended. We came in on a Sunday looking to catch some football on TV, some beers, and dinner. We were greeted pleasantly and given a good table to watch the game. They have a house beer made by a local brewery that sells for $1.79 a pint. I've had plenty of better beers, but it had a nice hop character for a (very) light pale ale, and the price point had me ordering more. The service was spot-on and very friendly. The smoked fish spread was really good as our appetizer. After a few beers watching out team lose, we each ordered dinner. My wife had the prime rib and I had the ribs. Yes, it's supposedly a fish place, but we were very happy with our meals. My wife's prime rib was solid and the HUGE rack of ribs was one of the best I have ever enjoyed. The place isn't for those seeking fine dining, but the food was excellent - especially for the modest prices for a place here in ritzy South Miami. It was a bit noisy, but it's a bar as well. Wings were okay, nothing special at all. We had sent it back to be recooked cause there was some blood evident in the meat. Seafood gumbo was flavorful. Service was good apart from the fact that they didn't pay attention to our request for the carmel and nuts to be excluded from our dessert. Food is good, wait can be a bit long since it's a bar. No call ahead/reservations. The burger is cooked correctly the majority of the time at this location. Wait on a Tuesday night at 9pm for 3 was 30 minutes. Knocked off a whole star because they have a 10% "takeout fee." I hate places that do this, especially since takeout is more convenient for them. This Flanigan's has the best lemon chicken pasta out of all of the Flanigan's I've been to and I've probably gone to all of them. My problem with this location is how ridiculous they are sometimes about serving alcoholic drinks. My friend that is over 30 came to join us for dinner one day and his ID was broken but still very legible and they denied him a mug for beer. We left. The other day we were at the bar with another group of friends and because we had been there too long they cut us off. This was a group of professionals going to happy hour, causing no disturbances to anyone. We asked why and they pretty much told us because they can and they felt we had ordered too much alcohol. Horrible service provided by the manager. The manager Amanda refused to sit us at a table of 6. Wanted us to sit at a table of 4 when we were 5 and did not fit at the smaller table. She had a really bad attitude and said that they only had one bus boy on a busy Sunday who was supposed to pick up the dirty plates from the table and he was cleaning the smaller tables at the time although the bigger table had been available for some time. A waiter went to grab the dirty plates and he was told to leave them. When we asked Amanda if we had said or done something wrong because of the attitude she was giving us, she said that that's how she is. The table of 6 we were waiting for was given to a different party of 4. We were finally given a table for 6. Our waiter Jessie was very polite, but unfortunately we will not be returning to this Flanigan's because of the poor management. read more

They have been taking care of me for years and I feel like I am part of the Flanigan's Family every time I walk through those doors. I don't think this restaurant would be the same without them. All of the Flanigan's that I have been to are consistently good American bar food. Great ribs, burgers, chicken wings, chicken fingers, desserts - all at good prices. They have specials pretty much every night on food and drinks, and you can always catch sports on the TV or at the bar. It never came and when we asked the bartender about it he couldn't remember. But he gave us napkins and plates. We went to speak to an employee and told him what happened. The daily food and drink deals are great but the food quality is just average bar food, good for drinking beer and watching a game. For a sports bar I was disappointed that they aren't very accommodating for groups and it results it being treated as a hassle by the servers. read more

What can you say about Flannys? Every time I come here to watch a game I get great service. There's always a special of the day and waiters are eggar to explain what drinks have deals. You can never go wrong with the dolphins game on all the TVs with some curly fries and a cold one. read more

Sadly this place was much better when it opened back in 2012. The service has been heading downhill ever since and worse after the pandemic hit. We face this place another try and turn out hasn't gotten any better. Most of the servers that were 5 star are long gone. If you know management then you get best service ever. We are a family of 4 that consist of 2 kids. You would think they'd remember our kids drinks and food to come out first. Not the case. Hopefully this place makes a turn around. Service is poor. if u from miami florida and u dont like flannys den u a cornball, that said I will now begin my review. anthony mirabet and william sam and danny the ginger are all amazing ass employees and if u a manager here and u want the business of myself and around 50-60 other patrons who come here EXCLUSIVELY for them, you'd best pay them well. The food is always punctual, the service is so good that they could spit on my food actually(which they wouldn't) and id thank them. im risking my life coming out of the house during a pandemic to keep flanigans afloat and to make sure that these gentlemen are being tipped for their sensational service. oh and the playlists for the music here are good too. Last night, my friends and I decided to go to our favorite late night spot (Flanigan's of course) and after arriving with a large party, we were seated swiftly by Samantha. Needless to say, this was the best experience I've ever had in a restaurant, Samantha's service was one of a 5-Star restaurant and the best I have ever seen. She was super friendly and engaging and gave us a great overview of the menu suggesting fan favorites such as the Joe's Meal Deal and the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich while bringing us drinks/refills and the food in a timely matter. She also gave us a clear and fast rundown of the specials for the day. I will be coming back soon with my friends and requesting Samantha. Amazing overall experience, I just wish more servers would love their job as much as Samantha. read more

Flanigan's is definitely a local south Florida staple. They have typical bar food: wings, nachos etc. along with local specialties such as fish dip and shrimp. Their garlic rolls are a must try, and their ribs are great for sharing! The atmosphere is always loud, and is great for groups. They are considered a family restaurant, so beware, they won't be playing any championship fights like other local bars & grills. However, they have the best happy hour drink specials, and on the weekends they are even better. This is definitely the perfect place to come for any game day. Typically love this place. It's a regular for me and my friends. Today I ordered takeout and when I arrived I asked the waitress where to go for take out. She directed me very nicely to a side room where I entered and while I was speaking with the young lady at the register one of the waiters came out telling me to get out that they would take care of me outside. While I understand that we are living under very different circumstances I did not appreciate this waiter kicking me out in such a hasty manner. Not good customer service today. read more
