Food was good, what you'd expect but that is exactly what we were looking for. Something for everyone in our group, we were all so hungry and it was nearby! Trifecta! Our server was very sweet and checked in on us often to make sure everything was going well. It's a loud place but my family didn't seem to mind as they played "Name this Band/Singer" to everything that came on while we ate. There were 6 of us and we all fit in one large booth next to the bar. Perfect, with a large wooden table to fit all the food we were about to order! A couple of locals beers and we ordered the nachos. That is one giant plate of nachos. You really have to be hungry or have a bunch of people to be able to finish them AND your burger!! I tried the Texas Burger which was large, which I guess is how it should be. It was really good, exactly what I wanted and exactly the way it sounded when I read it on the menu. Flanigans was delicious! My partner and I went on a Monday night and got the Mexican nachos deal FREE with the purchase of a pitcher of Diet Coke. The nachos were literally a mountain of cheese, chili, guac, sour cream and cheese. It was fantastic. It was loud but we asked to sit in a back booth where it was quieter. We ordered a Caesar salad along with the half rack of ribs and 20 bbq chicken wings with bleu cheese sauce. Everything tasted amazing. It's not only more fun to be at it's got of party fun people that hang there the staff is super friendly also it's got good vibes. As miami residents, we of course came for a quick late night munch and had some yummy appetizers. Arrived at 11pm and told there's a 30-45 min wait. So I leave the hostess to use the restroom and count 12 unoccupied cleaner tables. I return from the restroom, mention the unoccupied tables to the hostess and told that they're reserved. Minutes go by, tables still empty. After waiting for 30 minutes our party of two is seated and waiting over an hour for a burger and chicken sandwich while watching others who sat after us receiving their food. We had been at Flanigan's for nearly two hours, enjoying drinks, appetizers, and a nice time while waiting for our food. The front staff was very nice, and our waiter was wonderful. Then the manager, Amanda, came over and told me I needed to put my 7-pound service dog on the floor. After two hours, this was completely unnecessary and upsetting. When I asked for her name while leaving, she tried to hide her badge and only reluctantly said "Amanda." Very disappointing management. read more

My husband and I were hanging out on a Saturday and I was shocked to find out. He had never gone to a Flanagan's. We stopped in at the Westchester location, which I have never been to. We sat at the bar and at first I was concerned because it took a while to get the menus and a drink. But then Doris came and she whipped everybody into shape. I was so thankful that she was our server. She was amazing. She kept her cold beers filled, and got our orders in quickly. we started with the rock and rib rolls which my husband loved. I did the buffalo tenders with fries and he had a dolphin sandwich blackened. He was very happy with the sandwich. The fish was fresh and meaty. They had on the soccer games which my husband was happy about and we were able to ask them to put a specific game on the TV closest to us at the bar. We have always been big Flanigans fans and today we went to the Bird road location and it was such a disappointing experience. To start the high chair was never cleaned, it was all full of food and ketchup. We order 2 beers and they took at least 20 minutes to bring them, then we ordered a burger (medium) and it was just plain raw to the point that the meat inside was not even warm and to top it off the bathrooms were beyond disgusting and dirty. Not sure if it was just an off day for that location or if they were short staff but unfortunately will not be going there again! read more

Very disappointing experience from start to finish. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated. After we were seated, another 20 minutes passed without our server coming to the table to greet us, bring waters, or take our drink or food order. At that point, we asked the front staff if we could speak with a manager about the excessive wait. Instead of a manager coming over promptly, we waited another 15 minutes before the manager finally appeared--at the exact same time our server finally came to the table. After explaining our concerns about the long wait and lack of service, the manager simply pointed at the server, said, "Here he is," and walked away. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the poor experience, and no attempt to resolve the situation. Waiting can happen, especially when a restaurant is busy. What made this experience unacceptable was the complete lack of customer service and professionalism from management. A simple apology and an effort to make things right would have gone a long way, but instead we were left feeling dismissed. read more

This one though excels at something the Pinecrest location is not good at. What is that you ask? Managing the wait list specifically if you join the wait list on Yelp there estimated seating time is petty much on target. Anyone that knows me knows that I am a DIE HARD Flanigan's fan! Like, it's ALWAYS a good idea. Yesterday, after a doctor's appointment, I remembered there was one relatively close by... yup, in Westchester. My fave Flanigan's ins hands-down the Grove location. I mean, there really is NO comparison but I was hoping the food would be comparable... First, the positives: -Nice people! Hostesses were sweet & our waiter Alex was great! Really went above & beyond. -Alex immediately offered us the coveted pink Flanigan's Breast Cancer Awareness cups (How apropos considering I had just had my annual mammogram!) -Instead of the usual dozens of tv's playing all the different sports, this time, some of the screens were playing a dog show! YAY! Finally, something interesting to watch here! Now for the misses... -Unlike the Grove location, this place had zero decorative lights, zero holiday (haloween, in this case), zero personality! it may as well have been a Lums :/ -I ordered my beloved Blackened Chicken Philly with all the fixin's (mushrooms, onions, red & green peppers). The chicken was not as good quality as I have cone to expect. There were gross, chewy, ligament pieces & who knows what else that I had to spit out. Also, some of the onions pieces weren't peeled properly & had large pieces of skin on them. Gross. Spit that out too. -Sweet Potato Fries... while my companion ordered the regular fries which were delicious & fresh, I mistakenly chose the Sweet Potato Fries & regretted it on first bite. They were shriveled, cold hard, dry & tasted of old oil. NOT GOOD at all.
