Anyone that knows me knows that I am a DIE HARD Flanigan's fan! Like, it's ALWAYS a good idea. Yesterday, after a doctor's appointment, I remembered there was one relatively close by... yup, in Westchester. My fave Flanigan's ins hands-down the Grove location. I mean, there really is NO comparison but I was hoping the food would be comparable... First, the positives: -Nice people! Hostesses were sweet & our waiter Alex was great! Really went above & beyond. -Alex immediately offered us the coveted pink Flanigan's Breast Cancer Awareness cups (How apropos considering I had just had my annual mammogram!) -Instead of the usual dozens of tv's playing all the different sports, this time, some of the screens were playing a dog show! YAY! Finally, something interesting to watch here! Now for the misses... -Unlike the Grove location, this place had zero decorative lights, zero holiday (haloween, in this case), zero personality! it may as well have been a Lums :/ -I ordered my beloved Blackened Chicken Philly with all the fixin's (mushrooms, onions, red & green peppers). The chicken was not as good quality as I have cone to expect. There were gross, chewy, ligament pieces & who knows what else that I had to spit out. Also, some of the onions pieces weren't peeled properly & had large pieces of skin on them. Gross. Spit that out too. -Sweet Potato Fries... while my companion ordered the regular fries which were delicious & fresh, I mistakenly chose the Sweet Potato Fries & regretted it on first bite. They were shriveled, cold hard, dry & tasted of old oil. NOT GOOD at all. It's unfortunate that what I came here for was disappointing but again, it's Flanigan's even when it's not great, it's still good. read more

Flanigan's is a Miami institution and is always guaranteed to be a solid place to dine. With many locations scattered across South Florida we are lucky to live close to their Westchester location. After few minutes we were seated in one their many famous booths. The interior of the restaurant has a unique vibe a cross between Key West dive bar and Irish green. The menu here is very extensive and we started with two appetizers their rib rolls and firecracker shrimps. The rib rolls are legendary, it's rib meat diced and stuffed to fried egg rolls, amazing! The firecracker shrimps were also delicious with nice crispy plump shrimps in the house made spicy sauce and fresh pico de gallo. For the main entree we ordered the famous ribs and chicken wings with side of curly and sweet potato fries. The chicken wings were well seasoned while both fries were top notch especially the cinnamon dusted sweet potatoes. But the star of the meal were the ribs, which came out super tender and we drenched it with the house sauce which had a perfect combination of sweet and sour. The ribs also included a exceptional baked potato with sour cream and butter. The only disappointment was the dessert which was a warm snickerdoodle cookie with ice cream, the cookie tasted stale and bland, we had it returned. The food is good. The Fried Shrimp was a little bit salty. The Fries were crunchy and had the perfect amount of salt. We went on a Wednesday night so they had 10 wings and a pitcher deal. Our server was very sweet, he always went up to check in on us. For a Wednesday night, is not too busy so our food came out fast. The lighting will be dim, giving like sushi vibes. There are plenty of parking in the lot, the only thing is that since is Miami the parking space will be tight. read more

First of all our server was great, tended to our needs on a party of 6. She seemed very apologetic when the wrong food was brought out to 2 of our party. The problem is that it took forever to get the correct food out, meanwhile the rest of us were eating. Wrong salad, wrong fish style vs what was asked. The food was very good no doubt as well as the desserts and the rolls. While eating, we observed a server drop a glass, she proceeded to get a broom and dust pan, cleaned up the mess and then go to the trash can and with her bare hands touch the dust pan and garbage can to dump the broken glass. Then she continues to serve without washing her hands . There was a sink next to the garbage can that states employees must wash hands. Disgusting! read more

Asked for well done rib eye and got rare. My waitress Jade F. Wasn't pleasant, she didn't ask if my party needed a refill whatsoever. Wasn't attentive to our table. It took about 10 minutes for us to even be addressed after being sat. Waiter didn't split the check nor did she ask if it was suppose to be split to begin with. Made my party split our own checks and write #'s next to our food not once but twice. Even when we did all of that the waitress still messed our checks up. Ordered ribs and the ribs were dry with hardly any barbecue. And to top it all off the manager Nelson was extremely rude and very unethical. We called to make sure the prime rib was available. Only weekends after 4 pm. Fine. We got our food quickly but not at all like the picture on the menu. I love Flannys & Joe's Pale Ale! It's a great beer to pair with literally anything they offer. My top favorites are the smoked fish dip, chipotle chicken stack sandwich, ribs, lemon garlic pasta, chicken sticker dinner & salmon with dirty rice. Flanigans bird rd!!!! Was ok. The place is huge and great location for a cold drink. Staff is good and they were attentive. Now the food was not what I'm use to from flanigans. The quality of the food was ok at best. The ribs are usually our favorite but these were not it on that night. Definitely not falling off the bone. Honestly tasted old and a little dry. Sucks because we are fans of the ribs. My baked potatoes also had issues. Tasted like it was laying around for a while and not hot upon arriving to my table.
