Absolute delight to stay here for 2 nights in July. Welcome packet ready for us on checkin. The room and pool, which we used on both days, were clean and well maintained. The pool was quiet and let us cool off after long day of hiking around Zion in the 100 degree weather. Tesla destination charging was a plus and allowed us to get fully charged before heading back home. Enjoyed the small walk to the labyrinth with nice views of the lower parts of the canyon. Highly recommend as it's literally 5min walk to the visitor center to take shuttles up the canyon. Looking forward to stay there again. read more

This was a last minute decision. We were supposed to stay at Zion Pomdeorsa Ranch, but the east entrance access to the highway from Zion National Park was closed due to heavy rain. So, we couldn't get to the ranch. Our very nice bartender at Spotted Dog Cafe, which is right next door, checked on available rooms for us. We got a last minute room for $89.99 not including tax. The room was street facing, but we did not hear any nose during the night, despite the fact that my roommate and I are city girls and there's zero cars driving through Springdale at night. The Inn is 5 minutes away from Zion, which makes it very convenient to roll on over there in the morning. The bed is super comfortable. There were mugs for coffee, even reusable water bottles for hikes to reduce waste. Robes came with the room. We took advantage of the hot tub even though we only had 15 minutes to hop in before it closed. The best part, I opened our front door, coffee in hand, walked past our patio furniture and I got magnificent views of Zion. read more

I recently stayed at Flanigan's Resort for a long weekend getaway. What a mistake. The hotel is far from a resort, it is more like a motel. The room was below average with a king bed, two uncomfortable chairs, the bathroom sink is in the main room area, with the small refrigerator as part of the bathroom vanity. The air conditioner did not work, and was extremely noisy. The AC unit would just cycle on and off every few minutes, all day and night. The wall are not sound proofed, you could hear your neighbor talking, sneezing, coughing from both sides. The windows are not operable and the room was stuffy. When we complained to the front desk about the air conditioner, the woman did not care to listen and just said we had the setting too low, so the unit shuts down. 68 degrees in not a low temperature. I asked for a fan so we could have air movement in the room, the woman at the front desk said to use the ceiling fan. Our room had a light fixture, not a ceiling fan. The people working here do not know their own hotel, they are rude and do not care. They finally agreed to get us a fan. It was an old box fan that sounded like an airplane engine. The staff does not care about you, they know that some other sucker will stay there because of the location. They even have a neon vacancy sign on the front window. We asked to change rooms, but they claimed they were full, but still illuminated that vacancy sign. There are plenty of better choices in Springdale. read more

I finally got back to Flanigan's in 2015 and it was still fantastic! I had a bit more leisure time on this visit and got to use the pool, the laundry room, the spa and the labyrinth. Very clean rooms! Overall stay was comfortable. Some staff was friendlier than others. Spa treatment with Christine was wonderful. No room service and had an issue with the bartender at Spotted Dog Cafe, but the restaurant has good food. We opted for a more expensive "Canyon-view" room, but it's not necessary during the summer. The a/c blows hot air on the balcony, so you can't really sit outside. Also, the hotel is across the street from Zion, so the views are everywhere but facing Zion is not necessary. This is during the summer-time, so the balconies could be worth it during other times of the year. read more

Excellent location and great hotel. My husband and I were staying at a campsite over an hour from the Park. On our way to the car after eating at the restaurant next to the hotel we decided to walk in a see if there was a room for the night. It was 9pm by the time we walked in. We were greeted by two friendly front desk attendants and were told there was one room left, a small room at the front of the hotel. We took it. We drove to our campsite, packed up and headed back to Flannigan's. We had a great night's sleep and a relaxing dip in the hot tub. The hot tub is what we needed for another awesome day of hiking in Zion NP. The next day we had great check out service and they offered to let us keep our car parked for the day as we went back into Zion. Excellent service. I suggest dinner at the restaurant next door. We had a great dinner of fresh and flavorful entrees. To counter do not eat breakfast there. It was a buffet and the food was cold and unappealing. read more

This review is for the spa: My husband booked a surprise couples massage (we stayed at the Desert Pearl - they don't do couples massages but recommended Flanigan's) and it was one of the BEST massages either of us has had! We opted for the hot stone massage and it was amazing, Ellen and Christine were incredibly intuitive and picked up on issues we didn't even express to them. It was the perfect pressure, they listened to exactly what we had requested during our consultation, and created a completely relaxing environment. I'm actually rating this place 3.5 stars but since that's not an option, 4 stars it is. We actually enjoyed our two-night stay here. Great location, clean room, great amenities, friendly staff. Our one glaring issue is the horribly unreliable WiFi connection. Even in the times that it's up, it's extremely slow. Since the location is located in a dead spot, WiFi is the only option. I even complained to the front desk but they didn't see any issues on their end. Because we run a business and need to stay connected at all times, this issue will prevent us from staying here again. If internet connection is not a must for you, I would definitely recommend this place without hesitation. read more

First time visiting Zion and chose Flannigan's for our stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff who were friendly and informative. Our room was very clean and the a/c was running when we got there which was nice because it was hot out. Only thing, is the a/c made a lot of noise when I was trying to sleep at night. But this hotel was great, it was within walking distance to the entrance of Zion and many shops and food places. They even had a washer/dryer on the premises which I was happy about since we were on an 11 day road trip. I would definitely choose Flannigan's Inn again and would recommend it. read more

Spent the week at this cute place and absolutely loved it. The room had a small balcony and we slept with the balcony door open and never heard a peep. Quiet, clean, comfortable beds. Great jacuzzi and pool area. I love that it's small and quaint. It's very relaxing. Great restaurant attached,.two free bikes to use and close enough to the entrance of Zion to bike over. They have a hair salon and spa. My husband and I both had massages that was heavenly! We will definitely return to this gem!! read more

We were so excited to visit Zion National Park in Utah and after debating where we were gonna stay during our short stay here, we decided to stay here for one night because the way things were presented on the website looked so promising and with the place being only a half mile away from Zion, this seemed like a perfect place to stay for the night. Checking in was a breeze and we were off to our room and we were so excited hoping we would get a gorgeous Room just like the website, but after opening the door, me and my wife were very disappointed on how our room looked. Everything looked so outdated and our room looked liked something like we were staying a Motel 6. Our heating fan sounded like a lawnmower on at full blast it was simply annoying. As for the TV, I could've swore I've seen this TV Model on the Brady Bunch or The Partridge Family. I was looking for the Rabbit Ears on top of the TV with Aluminum Foil wrapped around it. As for the internet, it was as slow as Molasses. I think AOL Dial up was faster than this. As for the channel selection for this outdated television, I thought the only shows to watch were reruns of Leave It To Beaver and The Jeffersons. Staying here at this place wasn't exactly cheap as well. If we paid a cheap rate for it, I could totally understand it, but to pay well over two hundred dollars for a place like this in Utah, I would expect a whole lot better from this place. Being from Hawaii, we really studied high and low on where to stay here in Zion, and let's just that the other place we stayed at in Zion, was a thousand times better than this outdated place. Please do something about these outdated rooms. I guess they really don't care because they are in a tourist town and they would think we wouldn't know any better, but believe me, we travel around the world and this place was a major disappointment. We stayed for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. We booked a fireplace suite as we were looking for a little extra relaxation. Everything was wonderful! The bed was comfortable, spacious room, good amenities (hot tub and pool). Don't forget to check out the hilltop labyrinth. This is a cool, privately-owned, property just outside of the Zion entrance, My wife and I, along with another couple booked rooms here for a few days while we visited Zion. I give it a solid "thumbs up". I really like that they brew complimentary coffee all day in the Lobby. It allowed me to score extra points with my wife when I brought her fresh hot coffee each morning since I always get up and going first. Thanks, Flanigan's! The $4.99 breakfast buffet is a good value, but be careful of the coffee up-charge, It'll make your breakfast more like $8.99 before the tip. Quiet, clean, affordable and nearby the Park entrance. Decent option if you are staying in the Zion area, want to be close to the park, and don't want to spend a lot of money. The Cable Mountain Lodge (a little down the street) is far superior, but this place isn't bad. Parking is an absolute mess. You will drive yourself crazy trying to figure out where to park and how to avoid getting hit by other confused drivers in the lot, which doubles as parking for both the hotel and restaurant. Internet was mediocre. It worked ,but was slow. Room was clean, beds were fine. read more

Actually, we liked the grounds and the room. Updated, clean, good location (not close to town, but close to the shuttle pick-up to get into the park). The problem was the dude at reception. Check out is at 11am, and they charge $20 per hour after that. My mom booked a massage for the day of our checkout at 11:30, thinking that they would give us a little leeway since she was already paying $100 extra. The girl at reception the night before said that it would be ok, the guy at the desk the day of did not. Plus, he was kind of a jerk about it. Also, when my mom inquired about the AAA discount (since there was a AAA sign on the door), he said that they gave the AAA rate to all the guests. Soooooo, not much of a discount. What's the point? 5 stars for the masseuse according to mom! Ask for Ellen, mom said she worked wonders! read more

It's been a couple of years, since we stayed here and we had a very nice stay. It was very close to the Zion NP gate and the walk was definitely doable and not far, at all. I wouldn't wait for the bus to get to the gate, I'd just walk. The shampoo, conditioner & cream were very nice and good smellin'. Beds were comfy, as well. Staff was friendly. I received a massage at the spa from Christine and it was amazing! I highly recommend. She took care of my sore hiker muscles and put me in a relaxed state of bliss. When I return to Zion I will definitely be back to see her. Oh and the pool and hot tub out back with Mountain View's are excellent as well. Staff is kind and accommodating. If you are expecting to sleep in, you might want to consider a different place. We really wanted to love this place, but our experience was less than par. The walls are paper thin and we just about jumped out of bed as the neighbors were going in and out of their room super early in the morning. We woke up itching all over our body from the sheets. The property itself is beautiful, but I also had to take away stars due to the Cafe. For the amount of money you pay to stay at Flanigan's, they don't even offer their guests a chance to pick-up dinner orders during 6-8pm. I understand their restaurant is busy, but there should be more pick-up options for guests. We gladly took our business elsewhere. read more

WOW! Deep Canyon Spa & Salon within Flanigan's Inn is DIVINE! Drey Lee was our practitioner (massage therapist/esthetician), and she was UNREAL!!! If you're interested in booking an appointment, I have her card with cell and email - send me a message! Three in our traveling party got massages and facials from Drey. She has very strong, very wise healing hands, and she definitely knows what she's doing. VERY highly recommended! The spa itself is very quiet, dark and tranquil. it's just lovely. We also spent the afternoon at the pool, which is multi-level with lounge chairs, a cabana (first-come, first-served) and a hot tub/jacuzzi. It's a pretty incredible place to relax, with the mountains in the background - pampering at its best! read more

This hotel is located just outside Zion's south entrance. They say it's only a quarter mile to the park, but it's another quarter mile to the Visitor Center. Flanigan's is a small hotel, simple, but nice. My room was large, with a comfortable bed, a balcony, and a standard bathroom, but no room safe. It had great views of the mountains. There isn't exactly any Flanigan's Restaurant. Instead, there's a restaurant associated with the hotel called The Spotted Dog. I ate breakfast there - pancakes and sausage - and thought it was adequate. But then, you don't go to Zion for the food. read more

We had a wonderful stay here. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It's very conveniently located about a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the park. The rooms were very clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable. We have a lovely view of the canyon from our small deck that my wife and I enjoyed every morning for breakfast and every evening. The decks were all semi private, but we had a neighbor two decks down who was smoking. I cannot stand cigarette smoke and it was really harshing out my mellow as we tried to enjoy the morning breakfast on our deck. I remembered that when we checked in there was a designated smoking area. I mentioned it to the front desk lady and she stated that she would deal with it right away. We never had the problem again. My wife had 2 days of spa treatments which she really, really enjoyed and raved about. I would have given this 5 stars, however the wifi was really slow. If we ever go back to Zion, we are staying here. read more

I stayed here for 4 days while hiking Zion. It was a fantastic place. The rooms were super nice and the whole place was very quiet even in the weekends. I have to say the beds were the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The hotel is located 5 minutes walking distance from the shuttles that take you into the canyon. It was also located next door to a general store that has everything you could ever need. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions. A big shout out to Claudia in housekeeping she was awesome and super friendly. If there was any issues whatsoever the staff was always kind and quick to help. Be advised that they are not 24 hours. I believe they open at 7am and close at 10pm so early or later check ins might be an issue. Cannot say enough good things about this place it was an enjoyable place to come back and crash out after a full day of hiking and trying not to fall off Angels Landing! Wow, we are really impressed with quality of this cute little Inn nestled as close to Zion National Park as you can get. It's also right next door to Zion Adventure Company which is the premier guided and self-guided tour outfitter for Zion National Park. You can't get a better location. The staff are really friendly and patient in a small town way. And the property itself is well laid out and made if nice warm woods. We found the rooms to be very comfy, especially the bed and armchairs. And to top it off the excellent Spotted Dog Cafe is attached to the property. If you are late to you're check in is to bad they don't care even if you have kids (3 yrs, 5 yrs old). I would never recommend this place. This hotel is located right in front of stop 3 on the springfield city shuttle, so it was convenient to get on and only two stops to Zion park entrance and the Zion shuttle. Coming back out of the park there can be a long line to get on the shuttle back to springfield, so it can actually be walked from there to the hotel if it is really backed up and you don't want to stand a long time. The hotel has a good restaurant and across the street is whiptail cafe which is good. The room is nice, bed comfortable. Bed comfortable, I liked that they have a nice big pillow sham that is comfortable to lean up against headboard and watch tv or read. Would stay here again. read more

- We walked in one afternoon looking for a room after seeing the vacancy sign outside. There was a sign on the desk saying they'd be right back. - We waited 15 - 20 minutes for someone to show up and nobody showed up. - Meanwhile, the phone was ringing and no one picked it up. Flanigans is a great place to call home during visit to Zion. The location can't be beat with ridiculously easy access to the park. The rooms are tidy and clean. My king sized bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner is loud but it is white noise so it didn't prevent me from sleeping. Their Spotted Dog restaurant is good but not outstanding. The real gem is their spa. I love massage and truly think the best one I ever had was here from a therapist named Ellen. She is awesome! This is my second time here and I will stay here again on subsequent trips to Zion. read more

Clean, peaceful, quiet, lovely toiletries, very nice staff... What else do you need? There were 10 of us split up into 4 rooms and I have nothing bad to say about the three nights we stayed! The location is perfect in relation the the entrance of Zion and next door to a rental company! In the lobby there was lemon/rosemary or lemon/sage water along with hot coffee or tee. The rooms have Keurigs with some pods and two bottles of complementary water a day. The labyrinth is AMAZING and has a great spot for yoga (bring a mat or towel at least). Also an ice machine and washer/dryer! I would absolutely stay here again :) read more

Five stars for the spa inside the hotel. We had a couple massage with Sherry and Alisha (I think that's the right spelling). The spa was simple and clean. Our technicians were friendly and skilled. After a long bike ride and hike, it was just what we needed. We both left feeling relaxed and saying it was a fantastic massage. I got the Swedish and he had a deep tissue.
