Visited this evening for dinner, was very busy, estimated wait time 35-40 min. We ended up only waiting 20 min and scored a booth towards the back of the restaurant. Ordered the nachos as an appetizer and non alcoholic beverages. Waitress was very sweet and gave a breakdown of the specials and answered questions. Ordered dinner while enjoying the nachos, and ordered a glass of cupcake wine. Very tasty crunchy chips, and chili was very tasty. Dinner was served and at that point we never saw waitress again. Servers yes, but nobody at our table and I wanted my wine. We needed refills and more napkins but nobody was there, eventually my dad was able to get the attention of another waitress. She attended to us, and out of nowhere, our waitress appeared. She seemed surprised that I never got my wine, I didn't want it then either. She blamed it on another staff member, but was reminded that she never checked on us. Anyway food was very good, and huge portions. But it was very chilly in there, and the service stunk so I gave 3/5 stars. read more

We have been a couple of times it's a very small outdoor section! but unfortunately it is catered to smokers! I am disgusted that someone would be allowed to smoke in that little section and the fact that I can't enjoy the outdoors is atrocious! Thankfully the manager agreed, we got our 2 beers paid and left! they were just about to bring our ribs and we turned them down hate chain smokers or any kind of cancer stick smokers! flanagan do better! How you treated a family with a special needs grandson. Bringing him in for his 13th birthday waiting over an hour to be seated. Giving a table of 6 to 2 people that's why the wait is long. A couple seen how long we were waiting went over to the front and ask them to set them at there table which was very nice. The couple had words with the manager which she finally sits us down . No waitress comes over I had to get us and asked where's the waitress. She sends a waitress over who was very nice. But this girl kelly started yelling at the couple over powering the manager. The manager should of told her to be quiet and she could of handle it. Meanwhile they called the police my grandson is eating his hamburger and they told all of us to leave take his food and go. I asked the officers can he please his hamburger the police said no . My poor grandson who is autistic had to go through this. No compassion. This was disgusting. When I called the police department the next day the officer on the phone said I would of let the child eat his burger. It wasn't nice. The couple who stuck up for this child with special needs that was nice. Why can't flanigans do that you don't call the police because of this kelly who has no respect for special needs child who didn't say a word. Flanigans should tell there employees how to handle it not make it worse. I am very disappointed how we were treated. I have spoken to our friends not one restaurant has ever treated us like this in florida. We live here and we always went here. Flanigans should of handle this better I am very surprised. It's austim awareness month and that's how they made my grandson feel and scared. My Grandson didn't deserve that at all. Also how do you give a table for 6 and give it to two people. The salad and ribs were excellent but they ran out of baked potatoes! The manager offered us alternative side dishes and said if we were still here when the potatoes were ready (it would be a while) we could take them home. When the potatoes were ready, we were told that we would have to pay for them because we chose other sides. We were upset because our understanding was that since we really only wanted the potatoes the side veggies (which were awful) would be comped since the potatoes weren't available. The manager was rude but finally said all she could do would be to offer us 10% off the bill. Other issues: all food came close together. For being a Wednesday, it was unusually over crowded which is good I assume. While waiting, the bar area was stinky and filthy. Finally seated, the order of food took over an hour, and did not look fresh. Also took over an hour to get our receipt to pay. Couldn't get over the smell, it smelled so dirty. Came in for a late dinner last Tuesday as was my last night in boca before heading home. Love the meal deals they offer at Flanagan's. I was a little disappointed that by 830 they had no sweet ice tea for the day. Started with the ceasar salad and bacon with the garlic rolls. For dinner I went with the wings-hot. I will I was a little confused as I've ordered before and usually the wings didn't seem covered in sauce like these. It was almost like I had a hot wing mixed with a bbq sauce. We went to this Flanigans on Monday, my friends ordered 2 pitchers of beer, which included 2 Loaded Nachos..I ordered a Flanagans burger, the Swiss was really white American cheese, so I pulled it off, the bun was stale, so I had to put that aside too..It was cooked perfectly though, so I didnt complain to the waitress. I was surprised, however, that there was a dog at the next booth to ours. I am ok with dogs at outside tables but think its disgusting that they are sitting up on the seats, not on the floor, as most dogs would have been..Isnt there a law that only service animals are allowed in restaurants? After several successful visits, this one was a total bomb from both food and service perspective. Worst prime rib I have ever had. Dry and tough. Two bites into my salad the main entree arrived to sit on the table and get cold while I ate my salad. The baked potato was an obvious hold over from the previous day. Horrible. The server seldom came to the table. To ease the disappointment I was going to order key lime pie. But the server darted by and slapped the ticket on my table without a word.
