Oh my....this buffet is on point. The food is fresh, the hibachi station is a plus, and YES they have my Fav... salt baked shrimps. The ice cream station has a variety of soft ice cream in a cup and different flavor ice pops. Definately will return if I am in the area. I went here with my misses. For the price the place was fantastic. They had a wide variety of sushi although it's not the best. The only thing that didn't taste good was their two types of baked fish. I decided to give them a chance even after reading some 2 star reviews. This place is at least 3 stars or above. The food is always good I would give it five stars. The problem I have with this place is when they first open for the day. They open at 11 in the morning and the people that work there are there way earlier then that. So you would think most of the food would be out already sadly that is not the case. Been here twice. The first time we were crammed against a wall. Everyone on my side of the table had to get up and push their chairs in each time someone other than the person on the end had to get up to get food. The second time, we asked for table that could seat 8 and were told no because we only have 6. I love this buffet! It's very pretty inside, and very spacious. They offer a lot of different foods, some nice American choices for kids as well. The sushi bar is to die for, it's so good. And the hibachi is great, although it does take a while for the food to be prepared. They also have the cutest ice cream cabinet in the back, for dessert! read more

I went there today with my family. 7 of us. The service was terrible. Had to wait to get our drinks refilled. The hot food was not very hot. I told then there was no wonton never brought them out . The part that pissed me off the most wasn't they try to charge us for eight people when there's only seven. When I told them that they made a mistake they started arguing with us. Me and my boyfriend go here all the time , it's our favorite and the best buffet around . The hibachi is the best , always the same guy and does a killer job , and then ofcourse the sushi bar , where the sushi us actually fresh ! Never a bad experience here , and all at a good price ! Gave this place its last chance tonight. It was down right AWFUL. Place was empty. We came in for dinner around 530 and as soon as I circled the buffet for the first time and saw how everything was visibly old, like I'm talking it looked 5+ hours old, I should've just put my plate down and left. About 70% of the trays were half if not 3/4 empty and what was left was stuck to the bottom because it had probably been there since lunch around noon. No kidding. It was actually pitiful. I attempted what little items looked the most fresh, which was about 2 things. The chicken and broccoli was brown- the color of dirt and mud. Having gotten to the point where we were now pissed off, my husband went up to the desk and asked the clueless young girl if they were going to put out any fresh food because it was all old and empty. She replied with "what would you like them to make you?" WTF?? If I wanted one thing, I would've spared myself and just ordered take out. We asked for the check and left. Epic disgrace and I will never return. It's a shame there is no quality control in these places and they don't take pride in anything. I realize it's a Chinese buffet, but I've been to GREAT ones and this one is a pathetic excuse for an establishment. Hope I don't end up sick tomorrow. read more

If this was six months ago I would have given them 5 stars. When they first opened and about a year afterward the food was excellent. Everything was delicious and was refreshed often. The hibachi was the best thing there. They served fresh, quality meats in the hibachi - such good quality that we witnessed people pile their plates with meats instead of building a hibachi plate with rice or noodles. I can only assume they realized this and that's why they downgraded the meat. It's cheap and low quality now. It tastes chewy and fatty now and the chicken has a weird look about it that puts me off. The old hibachi guy doesn't work there anymore and the new guys always burn the food. The buffet food isn't refreshed as often anymore and it's hit or miss whether it tastes good now. It's really disappointing how a place that used to be the best in the area is now just on the same level as the rest of the places around. The only thing that makes this place a bit better than most now is the fact they serve sushi - even then its buffet quality so it isn't that great. read more

I got a coupon in the mail and figured I would give it a chance. I have read both good and bad reviews. I think it is better than average as compared to some of the other buffets in the area. I went on a Friday night and at that time it was $10.99 plus drinks were not included in price. It was a little under $30.00 for 2 people. I always enjoy grills at buffets. Only a couple of things could have made it better. First offer more meats and add the teriyaki sauce earlier in the cooking process so it soaks in to the food better. Besides that is was a good grill. They had a nice variety of different hot foods. I enjoyed 90% of what I had. Their steak and beefs were overcooked, but everything else I tried was good. The cooked and chilled shrimp was nice and fresh which is very important to me.My daughter was very disappointed they did not have crab legs since that is one of her favorites. Dessert bar could have been a little bigger with more variety, but the ice cream part was interesting. They had tiny cups of Hershey ice cream which I liked. Although the butter pecan tasted good there were no pecans or any nuts in it. They also offered ice cream sandwiches , ice pops and a few other items. The service was okay as far as taking away dirty dishes, but could have been quicker with refills. Hard at times finding them to get you one. But again compared to others in the area it was above average. just hope it stays that way and also does not raise their price since some are already cheaper than them and who give crab legs. read more

Shrimp was ass, there's no soft serve ice cream, servers didn't have pitchers for water so they brought water with one cup and poured it into my cup(?¿?¿?), and they were very rude to Shayne. I thought this place was pretty good. I love sushi and their sushi wasnt terrible. Its not as fresh at Xinas but its a buffet and people need to understand that. And the food was good, and its a plus when ur not feeling sick half way during your meal. Ate there twice good food, great hibachi. Waitresses rush to pick up plate while there is still food in it, and you are still eating. Getting their attention to refill your drink is a challenge. The crab legs are extra, $4.99 a pound that is a BIG turn off. Coffee is $1.69 a cup also a turn off. Long line at the hibachi at busy times, only one cook.Other buffets in the area include crab legs in their buffet price, approx a dollar more. read more

I've been to this place a dozen times since it opened well over a year ago. It has definitely gone down hill. There appears to have been a change in management and several items are no loner available on the buffet, such as egg rolls and crab cakes to name a few. The last time I was there they didn't have any cocktail sauce for the shrimp. It's kind of like running out of napkins. It's lost its fresh new look and is starting to have a dingy look and smell. Been here about a dozen times since it opened. I was giving it 3 stars for the value and the service, but after the last time it is down to one star and won't be going back. Food quality is average at best, i often wondered what % of items were frozen. Several substandard items: The ribs,obviously boiled with some barbecue sauce thrown on them, they are mushy to the bite ~ they should be broiled with a more crisp and firm texture. All the beef (with broccoli, peppers & onions, etc) has this weird mushy film texture that doesn't seem right, not to mention the significant amount of "grizzle" in every serving. And lastly the sushi, which I mostly liked this place for. Thought that this place was best for that, but after last night that has gone to hell also. Asked for tuna sushi, and was handed pieces of fish that were dark brown in color, not the usual vibrant red/pink color i have been accustomed to my ENTIRE life. I question it on the spot and the manager assured me it was "good".I took it reluctantly and returned to my seat. I actually had one piece and spit it out. I was dried out, fishy and just plain bad, even the waitress clearing the plates made a comment about it being bad just from the look of it. OK I am a buffet magnet!! This pace is the cleanest I've been in yet and I've been to over 25 total, repeats of course. One draw back no crab legs at lunch, now I didn't ask if they served them at dinner. So there is a chance they may offer them on the dinner buffet. But I don't eat the sushi, at all but I always look and let me tell you it was so neat and clean I almost went for it, next visit will take my two aunts who are sushi buffs (they have no problem spending 5-6 dollars a piece for the little raw prawns lol) So thumbs up best in area of Bricktown, Toms River or Howell, that I have been to.
