Because one of our favorite nearby spots was closed we decided to give Flaming Fusion a try. We were craving basic Thai. Being a fusion of Chinese, Thai, and Japanese we made sure to try some chinese and thai. We didn't care to try anything off the Japanese menu. Ordered the Mongolian beef, Eggplant, Pad Thai, and panang curry off their lunch menu. All came with soup. The hot and sour could have been a little more sour. The coconut soup i felt was very thin and too sour. My husband really enjoyed it. The wonton soup was actually my favorite of the three and came with one small wonton.. Mongolian beef we order extra spicy. Was not spicy and actually veryy sweet. Though the cook of the dish was very well done we ordered another to go. The char on the protein caught us off guard and we were very pleased. Eggplant was also cooked very well. Not over done where it becomes mush and not under where its Styrofoam. Pad Thai tasted like premade sauce. Tamarind heavy. We were trying to figure out what was missing and realized, no bean sprouts. Yet very well cooked! The noodles had the perfect chew and no breakage. It just needed the little umph in flavor and it would have hit the spot. Curry again was cooked very well. The bell pepper slices made for a weird bite. Flavor wise, my husband said if he were wanting curry he would get it again. It didn't hit the mark for me even with low expectations. Overall EVERYTHING was cooked very well. Though everything could've used a little more flavor and salt. Chinese dishes we got though were all very sweet. Will def be a spot for us to consider when were wanting Chinese and our favorite spots aren't' available. read more

Being mindful about where we are spending our money these day! We are definitely on the fence with the place..... the food was decent, the service was less than friendly! We observed our waiter being over friendly with other patriots and having super low energy and almost dismissive with us, also we did not receive a fortune cookie and everyone else did, my guy was livid, stating he will never come to this place again he actually went looking for a manager so that we could get a fortune cookie. I finally convinced him to just go! LOL. As far as the food goes, the veggies were cooked perfectly..... will we be back??? I dont know. read more

We decided to check local restaurant on a Saturday night. Well, it's hard to call it a restaurant. It's just a place to eat. If you are very hungry and not picky. The food was mediocre. The service was.... our server was busy watching the floor, rather than paying his attention to us. The food was coming not all together, but one by one. After we got 2 appetizers (one by one), and no small plates, I asked our server for plates, and he brought them. Isn't it common sense to start with plates? Main course came also one by one and we had to wait until the last meal arrived to start eating. The overall experience was meh. All staff we had a chance to see was tired and in a rush. The bright light didn't add any charm to make the whole atmosphere relaxing. I don't think we will ever go back. read more

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here! Pricing was decent, food was delicious! I had the masaman curry and the chicken tempura roll. It's nice and clean, and our server was very good! What can I say! This place has been open for a couple of months now and I would say it's pretty good. We got seated right away. They have plenty of dining area. Did take a minute for our server to come and take our order. The food came out pretty fast after ordering but they did forget our appetizers. We were able to remind our server about our appetizers. I would say that overall everything was pretty delicious, except for one of the appetizers which was the soft shell crab (the meat area of the crab tasted like soft mushy water) wouldn't recommend it. But like I said the overall experience was great. Would definitely be back to try more and/or other dishes. read more

We ordered a variety of dishes: California roll, eel roll, chicken Pad Thai, Chinese fried Chicken, spicy basil chicken, miso ramen, and Panang curry. Overall everything was really good. The sushi was fresh, the rolls were well-made, and the flavors were solid. The Pad Thai and spicy basil chicken had great seasoning. The Panang curry could of used more flavor.. I wanna love it. The food and service were good and the restaurant was clean but something was just not hitting. They were very slow. Maybe that's just the location and the season, plus they are new. Hubby and I were discussing that maybe this area is just a bit saturated? Idk I ordered the Thai Spicy Basil Leaf stir fry. It wasn't spicy and I'd describe it more as a Chinese version of this dish. It was good but I'd be disappointed if I were at a Thai restaurant and got served this. We ordered the Awesome roll and it was pretty good as well as the couple individual pieces of tuna, yellowtail, and eel. I'd eat here again. It's a good staple for Americanized Chinese where I imagine they really shine and they have decent sushi. Most of their menu is standard delivery style Chinese fare with some Thai dishes such as curries and really good sushi options. read more

I came here for lunch with my friend. Overall okay. Soups I would not recommend. The coconut Thai soup had clumps all throughout, no flavor. I switched for egg drops soup... thinking I can't go wrong with that. Wrong. Also very mediocre. I did enjoy my Thai curry and my friend got general taos and that was pretty decent too. Both of us and my daughter all got lunch orders and put bill with tip was only like $40. Honestly, for the convenience and price... I would definitely be back. Just not for their soups. Ok. I'm Asian and I know good Asian food. Everything came out very hot. Unlike other hibachi places in downtown winder. It's a solid 8/10 for the panang curry. We had habachi. That was 7.8/10. The sushi is 8/10! Great service. Clean. My husband rates the Thai house fried rice 7/10. I can't believe we finally got good Asian food. Please go try for yourself and support this business!!! I have eaten twice at this establishment so far, trying the kung pao bento and the coconut chicken soup, and the green Thai curry. They are all excellent. The spice is, in fact, spicy. I've often been disappointed by food spots saying that the food is spicy and it's barely scraping. The spice isnt just spicy for the sake of being spicy, however. It's what you would expect from Thai food. It's fragrant and flavorful. The service is excellent, everyone has been so pleasant and nice. They are very accommodating here :). Ambiance is lovely, it's soft and not too harsh. It's a neat place, everything is very clean. They do to-go orders as well :) everything is fairly priced and for this area it's not too expensive. What keeps my bill up is I want to try everything lol. read more

We ate here this week and it was a pleasant experience! The food was well priced for the value and while I wish the egg rolls tasted more fresh and less like they grabbed it from the freezer and fried it, the main dishes were good. The staff were kind and the restaurant was clean. I'd like to give some feedback to the ambience, though. I really wish there weren't tv screens everywhere I turned. I personally find it distracting and honestly, some of what was playing was disturbing. I shouldn't have to see negative news reports and random shows while trying to enjoy a dinner with my family. I get having tv's in a bar area (which they had) but don't understand why they have to be on every wall of the restaurant. Also, the decor does not match the menu or cuisine. I feel like paint and decor changes could really take this from a 3/10 atmosphere to a 10/10. read more

Been to this place twice to sit down and once for take out both times were incredible. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable especially if you get any of the bento boxes. The General Tso chicken is amazing and we love the sushi especially the spicy crab roll. read more

The egg drop soup was the best that I have had in a long time. The sweet and sour chicken was cooked to perfection, and the fried rice was great. The service could not have been better. We were greeted immediately, seated and had our drinks within 2 minutes. Lots of choices on the menu, orders were taken quickly and efficiently. The egg drop soup was excellent.
