Needed a late night meal & made it to this place just before closing . It was 3 workers and they were definitely working hard but we still had to wait around 45 mins for a burrito & regular hibachi. I personally didn't care for my meal but my husbands burrito was really good. By time we walked 0.3 miles back to our airbnb, I wasn't as hungry anymore after the long wait. I think the serious upcharge for garlic sauce was insane

First time having hibachi in a burrito but it was hitting for sure on the late night run. I got the shrimp bachi-rito, a flour tortilla with your choice of fried or white rice, cheese, zucchini, mushroom, onion. Choice of drizzled sauce. Sub garlic noodles for rice for $1.50. I would come back and try Flamebachi again if ever in the area. The service was friendly and the ambiance was chill.

The food is top-notch -- perfectly seasoned meats, tender vegetables, and the best fried rice I've had in a while. I highly recommend the NY steak and shrimp burrito, which was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. Don't forget about the sauces too my favorite is the dragon sauce. I put it on everything. The service is exceptional too--Joey was knowledgeable and made great suggestions based on our preferences. Will be back soon!

Nice little seating area to enjoy your food.

Came in for the Bachi-bowls and definitely was not disappointed. The portions are more than enough and the flavor is so delicious. One of the best hibachi places we've been to!

We are beyond excited that FLAME BACHI has officially opened in the heart of Downtown LA! Hands down the best hibachi experience in the area. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted like family--everyone is so welcoming, and the customer service is truly top-notch. The menu is absolutely mouthwatering. It's so hard to choose because everything looks incredible, but we decided on the Lunch Trio (NY steak, chicken, and shrimp) and the Lunch Shrimp. Both were cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with their amazing sauces--Dragon, Agave, and Ginger. Every bite was a flavor explosion. DTLA has been craving a spot like this, and Flame Bachi delivered! Thank you for bringing your incredible food and energy to the neighborhood. We'll definitely be back (probably sooner than we should admit)! Highly recommend!

Really appreciate the upbeat customer service I got from Joey when I came to check this place out. I saw their Instagram posts and had to check it out. I got to try their shrimp burrito with the garlic noodles and jalapeño poppers for the side. My wife got the chicken bowl which went well with their smoked teriyaki sauce and their dragon sauce! I also got their filet mignon with their garlic butter to top it off for my lunch the next day and all I can say is that this was beyond my expectations. Hats off to the chef. Good frequency food for sure! Looking forward to my second visit for the breakfast menu!

A bit overpriced but decent food truck. We miss having the convenience of the Perris location.

The pacific oysters are a good size and I really enjoyed the yuzu-kosho ponzu sauce on it. The spicy tuna crispy rice have a good amount of spicy tuna on top & I loved how crispy they made the rice underneath. The Kodo trio comes with uni, toro, & wagyu and the Toro sampler comes with o-toro, chu-toro, akami. All of these handrolls were phenomenal & just left you wanting more. The Wagyu katsu you cook on a hot stone at the table which I liked as an interactive dish. The Wagyu cheeseburger was dripping with juice but still had those crunchy edges. The Uni pasta was beautiful & delicious. The Chimichurri prawns I could eat multiple plates of- the shell comes sliced down the middle so you just have to peel it off. For dessert we ordered the Kodo basque cheesecake & Miso chocolate torte. I love a basque cheesecake & the sesame crumble added great texture. The miso chocolate torte made me wish I ordered my own. Everything from start to finish was amazing, it's hard to pick favorites. Parking- valet $13

Street parking only, which can be kinda tough in this neighborhood. What we tried: - Baby gem lettuce caesar - with parmigiana, garlic bread crumbs, chives. Perfection! I love proscuitto pizza and the truffle oil was the cherry on top. The dough was so chewy too! - Frutti di mare pasta - homemade squid ink tagliatelle, tiger prawns, calamari, mussels, Mariana. A great and flavorful marinara seafood pasta! This is my second time here: last trip was in 2022, where I had the best fig and gorgonzola pizza and bone marrow of ma liiiiiife (in addition to some pasta dishes)! This time, I had six dishes, split with my friends: the fig and gorgonzola pizza (again--why mess with a fave?), the octopus and calamari (surprise hit!), the oxtail ravioli (good--but not my favorite; portion was super small too!), the gnocchi (good, but not amazing), the lamb ragu pici (AMAAAAAAZING!). We also had some beverages; a cellador saison and 2 glasses of red wine. The service and attention is good. I will say that inside the restaurant, it is BUMPING! We are so glad we got a table out on the patio so we could actually converse (inside the restaurant, the music is so loud, you practically have to yell!) If you sit outside, say hi to the family of raccoons on the roof! I will also say, since 2022, this restaurant is now "highly recommended" by the Michelin guide...which has definitely increased its popularity. Somehow, this has translated to much smaller portions though. They encourage sharing "family style" with friends, but the portions are so small, you really only get a few bites from the pasta dishes before it's all gone! (The pizza is at least bigger). So, while Bestia is fantastic, prepare to order a lot more to be truly full and spend at least $100 per person. For all 6 dishes, drinks, and tax (without tip) our total for 3 people was $250.01.
