They have a self-serve condiment bar so you can load up on salsas, onions, cilantro, etc. Unlimited refills which is nice. The lengua was the best one by far. Super tender and flavorful. Pollo was a little disappointing... kind of dry compared to the others. One thing I did like is they pack the tacos with a lot of meat, so you're definitely getting your money's worth. But overall, flavor-wise it didn't hit the way I expected. It's good, but compared to some other popular taco spots in LA, it just didn't stand out enough for me to come back.

I was able to snag two tacos for $4.50 that tided me over until dinner time. Now: bring your car because there's no place to sit! I arrived on foot, so dined standing up. Mariscos Jaliscos is a simple, humble and easy going food truck that easily beats any sit in boujee restaurant. Their menu is simple and easy to understand. Mariscos Jalisco is best known for their Fried shrimp tacos however, they have one of the best aguachiles I've tasted hands down. Their shrimp tacos are absolutely amazing with the right crunchiness and soft fried shrimp inside. The sauce that comes with these tacos are jam packed with flavor adding to the overall flavors/texture of the shrimp taco. Hurts to say it but this might be my new favorite shrimp taco in ELA/Boyle Heights area. The service here is quick and friendly. I went on a Friday afternoon and did not find busy crowds at this food truck. Street parking is available and the times that i've visited other food trucks nearby i was able to find quick parking. Its a busy street so you will find people coming in and out of parking spots most of the time. I enjoyed my experience here at Mariscos Jalisco and will be coming back very soon. I was starving and couldn't wait to try out the fries. Perfectly served, fresh cheese topped and chili cheese tasted great, not too salty. Presentation was great! I literally devoured the whole thing. The fries were cooked perfectly, not too greasy and crispy. I added ketchup on top and made it even better. The smashed burger was also delicious, flavorful, including a soft bun(bread), savory smashed meat. 5/5 for everything I will continue to support when I am at the brewery visiting. A very happy lady overall.

I was WAY OFF, when my order was ready and I picked it up it was the giant styrofoam tray you see before you-and it was LOADED with brisket and bacon and mac and cheese just spilling out everywhere. I figured the utensil would be unnecessary, figuring I could just scoop up the toppings easily. I obviously needed it to wade through all the richness that was the Wachos. I'll be sure to look for them again soon, hopefully I'll have skipped a meal or two at that point.

This place came on my radar because I was dining at a really nice restaurant and was talking about aguachiles. The waitress at that restaurant overheard me and recommended this truck. But I also saw that this truck had really good tacos so I wanted to try everything on my visit. I ended up getting one of the combos which isn't cheap but seafood rarely is. I got the aguachile negro, a fish al pastor taco, and a soft shell crab taco. She wasn't kidding - the aguachile was fantastic although I will have to go mild next time. The tacos had really great flavors and textures. A truly wonderful meal. I would say this place is a hidden gem but honestly, it's front and center in a very busy part of a very busy area. Really love this truck and want to come back soon.
