Tastes like fast food Asian stir fry basically. Maybe healthier than Panda Express but definitely not that fresh tasting. And the cheapest veggies, carrots, broccoli and cabbage. Just got a bowl with beef and chicken. All in all really not tasty, sorry. Not for the cost even if convenient. Seemed microwaved honestly. Located by Motel 6 is the only reason I went here. Didn't know Doordash is more expensive than the menu price even if you pick it up yourself so that's kinda odd. Fifteen bucks is regular full service restaurant prices. It was quick I guess. I don't mean to be a karen, but I've been here twice. Neither time was great the first time the gentleman was very happy, and the food seemed ok. This particular visit wasn't very pleasant I got the two chicken bowls the chicken smelled funny the rice was way to sticky and I asked for avocado and they just scooped it out and plopped it right on top didn't even slice it. I do love this location of flame broiler. Every time I come here they're super nice and friendly. I'm writing this review cuz I was cracking up when I drove up to the spot. I'm across the way and I see this woman standing there w a sign to attract potential diners. She just stood there. No waving or flipping of the sign. She was just staring at me. I noticed how uncomfortable I was to look at someone who just seemed to look right through me. I walked towards her, I did my best smizing w my mask on, and still no acknowledgement from her. I walked past her and finally saw the machine behind her that's supposed to make the animatronic come to life. Anyhoo... once I went inside, I was greeted right away. This place traumatized me, and I was thinking about it today. 4-7 years ago in the evening, I bought a tofu bowl here. For some reason, when they gave me my food, the restaurant started playing one song really loud over and over and over as I sat there trying to eat my food. I was already alarmed that the tofu was a fleshy pink. I wasn't expecting that. The fleshy pink colored tofu and the overly loud song playing on repeat and the cashier staring at me triggered some kind of internal paranoia psychological attack and it effected me for a long time and as I'm experiencing anxiety this morning and feeling sort of locked in place, I remembered it and decided to say something years later when I have enough power to say it. It's too late now, but I think people should know that happened here. I felt attacked. It was totally weird. I wish there was an explanation, but it's been so long... Truly awful. Never ate there since. I cannot emphasize enough how that contributed to whatever mental/anxiety I've been dealing with, but I hate seeing Flame Broilers anywhere now. Utterly horrific experience. Love this Flame Broiler! Monica, Michael and Gabriela are always super nice! I normally go during the week on my lunch break. The food is always good and I love that they have it ready super fast, considering I'm on a time crunch. I normally get a mini bowl, but they do have a stamp card for regular bowls, which I think is pretty cool. I love the manikin they have outside holding the Flame Broiler sign. It's pretty funny!
