With an easy menu and easy prices, you can get a meal for $10-15 and usually have some left over. Some of the highlights are the Orange Chicken, and the sushi with a protein combos. I generally order basic stuff, and haven't gone wrong yet. This is a mom and pop place, and the lady at the counter is very nice and provides excellent customer service as needed. There is plenty of space in case you decided to eat on site, and it's clean. I would give the food 4 stars, and with the portion size and price, this place goes up to 5 stars. Food is good. The waiters are attentive. Just make sure they don't squeeze on lemon on your rice because I don't like lemon on my rice if I want lemon on my rice sauce, squeeze it on myself. I always get that lobster fried rice taste so good. Next time I go I'm telling an extra lobster tail. I always walk out of here spending over $100 so I might as well get what I want but yes, food is always good always fresh. The cooks are entertaining and the drinks that they pour decent drinks. You can tip extra if you want to, but they already take I think 20% out of your bill on their own. I tipped them 40 bucks and didn't even realize that they took 15% already. The service was pleasant and the food didn't take long to be ready. The lady at the front was really nice. I haven't been here before because most of the time I'm here at nights or weekends when it isn't opened. My daughter loves orange chicken and I wanted to try it out here first to see if she would like it. I did order the orange chicken combo that came with rice, noodles, edamame. Also ordered their teriyaki plate which came with California roll, salad and noodles. Over the orange chicken had a mild flavor and wasn't overpowering with sauce and it had less breading (which is a good thing). It was a big portion and could Not finish it all. The teriyaki plate was busy but it was descent. The noodle was not my favorite part though. It was very peppery and dry. Glad I tried it and will try other stuff on their menu next time. The quality of the food seems very mediocre. Simplicity of the food for the cost can be slightly improved. I understand rising cost but for that reason ways of improving how to create the dish to appear more cost worthy and be made with better taste and quality would be my input. Came here for lunch during work hours, which is most likely 99% of their business (the work lunch hour) as they are located in a business center in a mostly industrial part of town, and was surprised. For $13 I got the teriyaki chicken combo with a drink that was served in a tray so you can eat in the car (which I did) but they have inside seating as well. The person at the counter gave off the energy that she is also the owner or at least the manager, but that's only because she seemed to have a command of the space and was very friendly. The ambiance was what you would expect from a fast casual lunch spot. Quick and orderly. The food was so tasty. Chicken was not chewy, which a lot of fast casual Asian restaurants are guilty of. Under New Management, it has been remodeled and looks great, great service, great food. We ordered the appetizer Potsticker and a Chicken Teriyaki Bowl and Spicy Pork Bowl both were delicious the spicy was nicely spice but not super spicy which we loved. The prices are surprisingly low such as: Appetizer $4.99 Teriyaki Bowl each $6.99 plus drinks The owner greeted us and took our ordered and even mention that the menu has changed just a little and usually is busier in during lunch time hours. The place started getting busy right at 12, probably with people from all the other office buildings around, and the staff kept a smile on their face and were all polite and friendly during the craziness. I was half a block away visiting customers and had the urge for sushi! I was going to yelp, which I TOTALLY wish I did!! When parking my car I saw Tokyo Grill and I was like - whatever, lets just go since its walking distance. We go over there and find out its kind of a fast food restaurant, which I always get sketchy about sushi/Japanese restaurant that are not quality sit down restaurants. We were greeted with a woman behind the counter and the counter had menus for blind people like me, which I liked. I asked if they had hand rolls, which they did not have. I didnt like that because it makes me wonder Why can this restaurant make cut rolls but not hand rolls? Was it pre-made and this restaurant just purchases to sell? I honestly cant answer that because we put in our order and within five minutes our food came out. The food came out in to go plastic containers. Why in plastic containers?! This is really odd! I didnt order the food to go, but it came out in plastic containers? What the heck?! I tried to get over this fact and went to get soy sauce and they dont have the green top, low sodium soy sauce. I asked if they possibly had it in the back, but nope! They dont get carry it. Okay... I'll take what I can get. I open up the containers and take the first bite of a spicy tuna rolls, and so far, its a win! Its really a SPICY tuna roll. Then I move on to the hot dragon roll and its decent, not good, not bad... Then moving on to the crunch roll... Blekh! It was horrible! I said to myself, 'Jack maybe it was one piece that was bad! Try another piece!' (Yes, I talk to myself, lol) So I go through my rounds again to change the taste in my mouth and get back to the crunch roll and it is horrible. I ate all the spicy tuna to make sure I fill up a little, then moved on the to the hot dragon roll which was okay, and thankfully I was full by that time and crunch roll was thrown in the trash. I don't like throwing food away, but I just couldn't get my self to eat this... Which brings me to my conclusion of semi-fast food restaurants for sushi/Japanese food. Unless you find it necessary, stray from this. Unfortunately, it is places like this that make me not want to sushi places that are not quality sit down restaurants. I don't think I can recommend this place. I'm not sure what other sushi places are around, but use Yelp and don't make the mistake I made and not check Yelp! First time here. We had a doctor's appointment at Kaiser which is in the same complex. I ordered the bibimbap A & shrimp tempura. My husband got the beef bowl and crunch roll. Portions are big!! We had to take home our leftovers. My bibimbap was so yummy. The bibimbap hot sauce was perfect. The tempura was good. Breading was kinda thick but ok. My husband said his beef bowl and crunch roll were delicious and I made the right choice choosing to eat there. The lady who took care of us was super nice. Had to finish the rolls first since it had raw fish and it was amazing, perfect name for it Hot Dragon, it was spicy but in a very good way, other places state spicy and it's just mild without much taste.
