I have dined at this location a few times over the years so I have a baseline for my review. Today, I ordered the steak bowl, which is my typical go-to menu item. I got it to go and drove back to work. I open the lid and right away the steak look like bone-dry jerky. As I ate the steak, I was very disappointed in the quality, texture, and taste of the meat. Even the rice this time was mushy and like a solid chuck of rice. While I understand its fast food, this was just plain ol' bad. The service was great, the food was better than the flame broiler on Euclid & commonwealth. The only thing I didn't like was that the girl that took my order had long painted acrylic nails. I've taken a serve safe class & that is not allowed. Whether your taking the order or cooking, long painted finger nails are not allowed. Dirt is easier to stay on long nails, the paint can chip & get in the food, since the nails are fake one can break off & get in the food. She wasn't cooking but was putting lids on the bowls. I hate to give such a bad review on her because she was nice but that really turned me away from going back. read more

I ordered a half/half bowl and mid way through my meal i found all these bones. I was lucky i didn't chip at damn tooth. Anyway i was so hungry i spit it out and kept eating. The beef seemed rubbery and dry like it had be sitting out. The chicken was ok. Also, the sun shines 90 degrees into this place i was sweating in there and all they have are fans on low. Back in the day when I used to work in Fullerton, this was the place to get your grub on. The chicken bowl with green onions, and bring on that teriyaki sauce, cause that was the key ingredient right there. This teriyaki sauce is thick yo! Make sure you don't get it everywhere cause it's super sticky, but it's super duper good. The red hot sauce is a must also, and get some jalapenos while you're at it... spicy goodness. This location offers kimchi, but I did not order it. The service here is fast and friendly - I was recognized by the woman working behind the counter although I've only gone in two or three times. Not a lot of seating, but there's some stools that face the parking lot and street with magazines set up. Good for the lone lunch time eater - that's me (forever aloooone)! read more

I've been here many times through out high school, I have so many memories here at this Flame Broiler lol. The parking lot is small, I always felt like I would get my car hit in this lot. The interior is also pretty small so I usually took my food to go. Before we had our wrestling matches,we would come get our food here so the Korean lady would always give us a discount. She would even through in a few drinks for me and my buddies. Delicious half and half bowls that would help us win our matches! But they put food in just to half the bowl, probably half the amount compared to other stores.
