It's been about 5 years since my last review of this location and I had to hop on and still offer my appreciation and 5 stars for this location. As I wait for my order I noticed just how popular this place has gotten in the last few years, especially with the amount of mobile orders during prime time. I actually like the simplicity and the healthier offerings of the Flame Broiler, but I have to call them out when things are not as good as they should be. I ordered the regular bowl with chicken over vegetables. The chicken had good color and flavor but it was a little on the dry side. When I say them scooping the chicken into my bowl, I notice I received the bottom of the container before a new batch was made. I should of asked for chicken from the new batch. The vegetable combination were cooked probably and still had a good crunch on then, but they need to seasoned them. The were bland so I had to add some soy to liven them up a bit. Alone, you get that flame broiled taste, otherwise it's a bit bland. A little bit of the sauce they have available at the counter adds just enough flavor, it reminds me of teriyaki sauce. Servings are pretty generous, so a mini will satisfy those with a smaller appetite. I always have leftover when I get a regular bowl.. Prices seem fair. Bowl has a lot of meat and I make sure to get half rice and half veggies. Otherwise they give you a LOT of rice. The veggies include cabbage, carrots, and broccoli. Worth the price.
