19. Yellow Curry Lunch

I was in the mood for some Thai food and I found this spot. The food was so fresh and delicious. The service was great, very friendly and helpful. It's a quaint place and clean. Food was great, yellow curry with mock duck, Thai tea with boba and of course my favorite. Sweet rice with mango Outstanding! Must try!!!

A yummy consistent go to spot in Bonita area. Been coming here a few times the past few years. Good food and friendly enough service. Favorites: tom yum soup with chicken, combo appetizer, and Pad thai shrimp.

We have been going here for years. The food is delicious and we never have wait to be seated. Our signature dish is their curry. Soo delicious. The food is fresh. The staff is amazing and always so courteousand friendly. If you are craving Thai food pls come and try them.

Thai Taste 2 has a warm and inviting ambiance. They offer excellent service and they're flexible with your entrée preferences. For example, they can remove any vegetables which could include bean sprouts or carrots. Make sure to let the waitress know your spiciness level for the noodle entrées or curry entrées. Seating area is very comfortable, mainly offering more booths. My favorite foods here are Tom Kha (coconut soup) and their Pad Thai with chicken.

If you're looking for a standout Thai dining experience in Bonita, Thai Taste 2 is a must-visit. This cozy neighborhood gem consistently delivers bold, authentic flavors with a level of care that sets it apart from typical fast-casual spots. The menu strikes a perfect balance between classic favorites and specialty dishes. The tiger cry steak is the undisputed star--perfectly rendered with a satisfying crunch and served with a savory sauce that doesn't overwhelm. If you're visiting for lunch, check out their Lunch Specials for great value, and don't skip the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert if it's in season!

Shrimp summer roll with sweet and spicy dipping sauce.

Friend and I arrived for an early dinner. There were a few parking spots left in this quaint shopping center. We were seated within seconds of walking in and noticed the room was almost at capacity. Shortly after, our server took our drink order which was fulfilled within minutes. I ordered the pompano fried fish in a delicious Thai brown gravy sauce served with a bed of onions and bell peppers. My friend ordered the shrimp summer roll and crispy wings which were fresh and tasty. I've been here three other times and the food tends to be on point. Presentation was beautiful, too. We highly recommend this place. The menu offers a variety of Thai desserts and drinks.

26. Yum Woon Sen Vegan

I ordered the yum soon sen with no fish sauce, no shrimp and added tofu and it is amazing! I was so happy they could accommodate. I will definitely be back for this! Highly recommend! Thank you so much for being vegan friendly!

One of my favorite places to get Thai and Southeast Asian food in San Diego county. The ambience is great, they're always playing slow jams and the staff is super accommodating. For this meal, I got the Beef fried rice, tofu massaman curry, som tum, and chicken pad thai. It's always a hit and that's why I keep coming back!

62. Panang Curry

Good thai at a reasonable price. Loved the spices and fermented chili paste! We got the panang curry and pad see ew, both were good. Great service, food came out QUICK

Thai Iced Tea with Boba

The Crispy Duck is TDF--perfectly crispy and incredibly tasty. The pho broth is amazingly good, and the add-ons are generous and plentiful. Highly recommend if you're nearby. There's absolutely no reason to drive outside of Bonita.

My order of the sweet chili wings was estimated to take 25 minutes to prepare and came with the sauce separate as requested. FOOD 2/5 sweet chili wings: actually wings and drumsticks and had a tougher texture that did not taste freshly fried, which was disappointing given the $15 price point for 7 wings. Even though the wings didn't deliver, the chicken satay with peanut sauce was tasty

No issues there…read more We ordered a variety of dishes including Pad Thai with chicken, winter shrimp, half moon appetizers, crab fried rice, and panang curry with chicken. The standout items were easily the winter shrimp and half moons. Both were flavorful and well executed. The Pad Thai was tasty, with soft noodles that exceeded expectations, but it was light on the chicken. The same issue showed up with the crab fried rice, which could have used more crab. Flavor wise it was decent, but the added cabbage was not necessary in my opinion. The panang curry was another strong dish in terms of flavor, but the portion to rice ratio was off. It comes with one serving of rice, but you would realistically need a second order to balance the amount of curry. Presentation overall was decent. Nothing particularly impressive, but no major complaints either. Bottom line, this is a solid Thai option in Chula Vista. I'm interested in ordering other menu items to give it a try.

And yes, the drunken noodles at Signature Thai Cuisine is the best I've had. The FBI (fried bananas and ice cream), which I get without ice cream, is perhaps even better than the already dreamy drunken noodles. We called the restaurant to resolve the issue, but were initially told that this could not have happened. It was not taken seriously until we provided photo evidence. Even then, they asked us to bring the food back for evaluation despite the fact that we were already home. They said they needed to speak with a manager and did not follow up, so we had to call them again ourselves. We were then offered restaurant credit, which we declined. They told us we would need to bring the container back in if we wanted to pursue a chargeback. When we returned, staff members stared at us while we explained the situation. At one point, a female employee called over three additional staff members from the kitchen to look at the container, as if that would resolve anything. They offered to remake the dish, but we requested a refund instead. In the end, they only refunded the menu price and did not include the tax. Not only were our concerns not taken seriously, but the entire process was unnecessarily difficult. Even though this was only a $12 item, they still pushed back over something as small as the tax.

This time I branched out and tried the Thai sausage fried rice and the fresh spring rolls for a takeout dinner, and I am so glad I did. When I came in to pick everything up, the ladies behind the counter were genuinely enthusiastic, not in a performative way, but in the way that people are when they're truly proud of what they're serving. They guaranteed I'd love it, and they delivered on that promise completely. It's rare to walk into a place and feel that kind of energy -- a team that's happy to be there and happy to feed you. We finished with mango sticky rice, and unsurprisingly, it was incredible. You can't really go wrong with mango sticky rice in general, but this was warm, sweet, and fragrant.
