Pad See Ew with beef and extra broccoli ;)
    Erica C.

On this chilly Oct day I was craving Thai food. So I searched for what was closest to me and this place was it. Although they had none of what I had in mind to order. I decided I was still going try it out and order something. That something was Tom Yum soup with chicken and pad-see-ew noodles with beef. I asked for extra broccoli in the noodles too. I came to pick up my food and discovered it's take out only. Which is what I was doing anyway so I thought how perfect. I got home and was surprised at the big portion of noodles. The soup I'm not sure of the size I received because I ordered a small but they charged me for a large. Which I didn't realize till I had already left. So I have no idea if what I got was the small or their large size. ok back to the food, it was absolutely delicious!!!! My plan was to have leftovers for tmrw but that almost didn't happen! The soup was delicious and had so much flavor, the lemongrass and all the veggies except for the tomato lol does Tom Yum usually have tomato? Idk but it was good despite the tomato. But definitely order the noodles, even though I prefer the broccolini which pad-see-ew is usually made with I didn't mind the regular broccoli, it also had a lot of beef and the portion was huge and ohhh sooo much flavor, I will be ordering that again!

    Dry, tough chicken

Had the pad Thai. It was Just okay. The chicken was gross, dry and incredibly tough. I didn't eat anymore of it.

    Pad Thai with tofu

The best pad Thai in East Chula Vista. The service is fast and the owner is very nice. I had the pad Thai with tofu and the combination of flavors was excellent. The pasta was well done, the ground peanuts and lemon gave it a great flavor contrast I totally recommend this local business

Still highly recommend this place! Maybe it's just my memory but the portion size seemed larger this time :)

This is a cute little shop in a shopping plaza right across Costco. I ordered their Thai tea and a small Tom yum soup with shrimp. It was about 13 bucks so not bad. The soup came with three shrimps so if you want extra just ask. You do have to ask for condiments even when ordering online they won't automatically give it to you. They have two patio tables outside where you can eat with shade. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon even tho yelp said it was closed. So I'd call and verify.

The food is quite delicious! The staff is also quite nice and helpful. They made a mistake on our dish and they let us just keep it! What?? We love panang curry and pad see ew so we got one of each no spice and mild. Even "no spice" was spicy so the kids had a LOT of rice with it. Just beware there's no air conditioning!

Glad there is good Thai down south. Try the crab fried rice or crab pad Thai. It's real crab--not krab.

The standout items were easily the winter shrimp and half moons. Both were flavorful and well executed. The Pad Thai was tasty, with soft noodles that exceeded expectations, but it was light on the chicken. The same issue showed up with the crab fried rice, which could have used more crab. Flavor wise it was decent, but the added cabbage was not necessary in my opinion. The panang curry was another strong dish in terms of flavor, but the portion to rice ratio was off. It comes with one serving of rice, but you would realistically need a second order to balance the amount of curry. Presentation overall was decent. Nothing particularly impressive, but no major complaints either. Bottom line, this is a solid Thai option in Chula Vista. I'm interested in ordering other menu items to give it a try.

Pineapple fried rice with chicken, and chicken satay, were both perfect. My order of the sweet chili wings was estimated to take 25 minutes to prepare and came with the sauce separate as requested. FOOD 2/5 sweet chili wings: actually wings and drumsticks and had a tougher texture that did not taste freshly fried, which was disappointing given the $15 price point for 7 wings. When I went here, I was in between the tamarind chicken wings and garlic chicken wings, but I went with garlic because I am a garlic fiend. The wings were very crispy and I liked the crispy garlic. The garlic was more of a topping than the flavor of the wing, so that would be ideal if the wings had more garlic flavor to it also. I was conflicted on if I wanted a rice dish or a noodle dish, so I went with class pad thai. The flavor was there, but it was very oily and I feel like random things were added in. The photo (when ordering off the screen) looked like standard pad thai (noodles, scrambled eggs, green onions, peanuts, bean sprouts) but mine had pieces of broccoli and lettuce. I preferred the chicken wings over the pad Thai. My favorite thing was actually the Thai tea with lychee juice! It had big, fresh pieces of lychee. I wanted to order another one. This was a unique beverage and it was super refreshing! The only other time I had a Thai tea/lychee drink was in NYC. They also have Thai green tea, which is another hit, but I didn't try it. The food came out within 10-15 minutes, which was not too bad. The main issue I had was that I asked for a to-go container and bag for my leftovers. My sister had purchased an extra order of garlic wings for her daughter, then also asked for a to-go bag. The worker said, "I already gave her a bag" (referring to me). It was a tiny bag, which likely would not have fit all of our food!
