The customer service is very good. The area and food was clean and neat. I don't eat very much Thai food. So it was hard for me to order. The soup i ordered was okay. I was feeling under the weather, so it did hit the spot

First time here and it was a pleasant experience. They have a parking area which is good, i was worried about that initially since it was on Broadway. Idk how busy they get during lunch though.... Came in to order to-go and staff was pleasant. Prices are reasonable. Ordered the chicken Satay and Mango Sticky Rice. Chicken Satay was tender, juicy and the highlight of it all was the peanut sauce. It was prolly the best peanut sauce i've ever had. Mango sticky rice was delish. Nice amount, they were not stingy at all.

This Thai spot is a legit!!! they've been here for about 2 years now. It's definitely authentic Thai food. The texture, temperate, portion, spices and everything else is right on!!! especially the crying tiger and pork belly krapow. Pad Thai was perfect too! Plus, the complimentary Thai ice tea upon check-in is a delightful touch. The service was fast, the ambiance is welcoming. We ordered to go and ate the food at home. it's definitely earned its place as one of my go-to spots in Chula. Highly recommended!

This intimate place is a gem. The playlist went off, furniture was clean, staff were friendly, and most importantly, food was delicious! I would definitely come back. Thank you Thai Bistro! :)

Authentic Thai restaurant is a must-visit. Their egg rolls are highly recommended.

Thai Bistro has some of the most full flavored Thai food in all of San Diego. My partner and I make the 30 minute drive all the way from the Pacific Beach area to Chula Vista for this Thai food. The pork belly is amazing on every single dish that we've tried and it's next level. The service is super friendly, and the owner is excellent. We've tried the yellow curry, which is amazing. The wings, the Pad Thai, Pad Ke Mao, and the Cashew Nut rice. All of them have been incredible and would highly recommend.

STOP LOOKING - just go. This spot is amazing. Flavor is through the roof and I couldn't say enough good. 9 people-came. All of us ordered something different and everything was well above par. We all look for spots like this. Come before it blows up.

Amazing food and service!! This is my second time here in a month and it's incredibly flavorful. I had to bring my boyfriend here and I loved how they had options for him bc he doesn't eat pork. He got the drunken noodles and it was delicious! If you haven't been here before you have to try it! The service is fast and very friendly.

New owner took over about 7 months ago, she's the sweetest too. Really friendly and chit chatted with me during my early dinner. The yellow curry with chicken was phenomenal, I honestly thought about licking the bowl when I was packing up my leftovers to go. Looks like I've found my regular Thai spot.

$10 for two scoops of rice I feel like it overpriced and the mangos They weren't sweet enough. Wasn't ripe.

For it to be $10 I would expect it to have come with more rice at least and the mangoes were not ripe, which made it not sweet

Food was so freaking tasty!!!! So much flavor with the perfect amount of spice! Not sure how this place wasn't busier during lunch! The staff was super friendly and helped with recommendations. Will be back to try something new!

Loved these crispy egg rolls! Full of flavor!

Was looking for a Thai restaurant closer to home and I finally found it! It's on Broadway in Chula Vista but you might not find it right away because the front sign, facing Broadway, is not up yet. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food came out fast. I ordered it spicy! Along with some egg rolls! The Pad Thai was amazing! And the portion was enough for 2! The egg rolls were delicious too. Hot and spicy! Will definitely be coming back very soon!

It was our first time visiting this restaurant and it was delicious. I really enjoyed the ambiance of the place and it was clean. The server was also really nice and was kind enough to answer some questions that we were confused about regarding the menu. The crab rangoons and calamari was delicious! The pad thai was definitely my favorite (so flavorful and we got medium for the spice level). Additionally, the steak (crying tiger) was good as well, the meat was extremely tender and it just melted in my mouth. Overall, I highly recommend this place! For my first time ever trying Thai food, this place did justice!

The coconut curry had very little vegetables n protein. The papaya salad was made with cabbage... not lettuce. Delicious otherwise.

No issues there…read more We ordered a variety of dishes including Pad Thai with chicken, winter shrimp, half moon appetizers, crab fried rice, and panang curry with chicken. The standout items were easily the winter shrimp and half moons. Both were flavorful and well executed. The Pad Thai was tasty, with soft noodles that exceeded expectations, but it was light on the chicken. The same issue showed up with the crab fried rice, which could have used more crab. Flavor wise it was decent, but the added cabbage was not necessary in my opinion. The panang curry was another strong dish in terms of flavor, but the portion to rice ratio was off. It comes with one serving of rice, but you would realistically need a second order to balance the amount of curry. Presentation overall was decent. Nothing particularly impressive, but no major complaints either. Bottom line, this is a solid Thai option in Chula Vista. I'm interested in ordering other menu items to give it a try.

Pineapple fried rice with chicken, and chicken satay, were both perfect. My order of the sweet chili wings was estimated to take 25 minutes to prepare and came with the sauce separate as requested. FOOD 2/5 sweet chili wings: actually wings and drumsticks and had a tougher texture that did not taste freshly fried, which was disappointing given the $15 price point for 7 wings. Even though the wings didn't deliver, the chicken satay with peanut sauce was tasty

I like the menu at Ping Yang! It's interesting that they have four different gyoza options, and…read moregyoza is not a standard Thai appetizer. When I went here, I was in between the tamarind chicken wings and garlic chicken wings, but I went with garlic because I am a garlic fiend. The wings were very crispy and I liked the crispy garlic. The garlic was more of a topping than the flavor of the wing, so that would be ideal if the wings had more garlic flavor to it also. I was conflicted on if I wanted a rice dish or a noodle dish, so I went with class pad thai. The flavor was there, but it was very oily and I feel like random things were added in. The photo (when ordering off the screen) looked like standard pad thai (noodles, scrambled eggs, green onions, peanuts, bean sprouts) but mine had pieces of broccoli and lettuce. I preferred the chicken wings over the pad Thai. My favorite thing was actually the Thai tea with lychee juice! It had big, fresh pieces of lychee. I wanted to order another one. This was a unique beverage and it was super refreshing! The only other time I had a Thai tea/lychee drink was in NYC. They also have Thai green tea, which is another hit, but I didn't try it. The food came out within 10-15 minutes, which was not too bad. The main issue I had was that I asked for a to-go container and bag for my leftovers. My sister had purchased an extra order of garlic wings for her daughter, then also asked for a to-go bag. The worker said, "I already gave her a bag" (referring to me). It was a tiny bag, which likely would not have fit all of our food!
