BIG fan of their carne asada torta. Even bigger fan of their $5 carne asada torta on Wednesdays. Unfortunately NOT a fan at all of their "dine-in" only policy for the $5 price which they seem to be very strict about here. I had to cancel my order, leave with my money and think of a Plan B for dinner when I could not order some tortas at that price point to take home to the family. I think forcing you where you eat the torta for a price point is a really silly policy and the only valid reasoning I can possibly think up for this policy is they'd like you to stay and spend more on more menu items. which I do not intend to. Stopped by for some rolled tacos. This place was pretty solid. They only have 1 option and its pork or beef (not sure) but theyre called the monster rolled tacos. But theyre topped with crema and guacamole on a bed of lettuce. Comes with a side of rice and refried beans. Those were pretty solid and tasty especially when combined with their salsa verde. The battered fish taco was pretty good too but the batter had some kind of seasoning which didnt add to the dish and made it taste a little different. I probably wouldnt get it again but it also wasnt bad. Overall, id come here again, id like to try their other items if im ever in the area again. Got an amazing taco and a quesadilla with sour cream. I took the quesadilla to go. They give ample cheese and the sour cream was generous too. I really like the open kitchen and the interior is very modern and clean. I will definitely be back to try different tacos they offer! Also, I recommend their house red salsa. It was amazing and I tasted garlic in it! One thing I was impressed with this they gave me a side of cilantro at no charge! Highly recommend Taco Lounge. There is easy street parking. read more

I'm currently obsessed with their monster rolled tacos. They are not your typical rolled tacos from a taco shop, but they are yummy. Reminds me of the rolled tacos from Mexico City. Also recommend the grilled shrimp tacos, also delicious. Their daily specials are also good. Can't beat the 1.99 Fish Taco on Mondays. I personally also enjoy their Birria, good portions. Food is solid but the service needs significant improvement. They're constantly messing up orders in simple things like adding guac when you request no guac, or requesting flour and the give you corn tortillas. Fist time here. It was nice. The place is clean, and the customer service is good. The prices are a little high for tacos. Well for me. I believe they were 3.79 for a carne asada taco. The Asada is cooked well and has decent taste. The Al Pastor is pretty good. The Monster roll tacos were very good. One thing I really liked, was the red salsa. Went here for late lunch and saw a few post on insta so decided to try it out. I got the fish tacos, birria, and asada while my bf got the fish tacos. The fish taco was pretty bad, it was freezer burned or something but tasted old and the batter was soggy and not cooked till crispy so that was a fail. The birria lacked flavor and the asada was way over cooked. The corn tortilla looks house made but it's just very thick and wasn't really sturdy. Taco Lounge is our favorite local taco shop! They serve high quality ingredients each and every time! The staff is kind, consistent & super efficient. My favorite is the grilled shrimp taco. They use fresh avocados & the best chipotle sauce! My daughter's favorite is the carne asada tacos (& occasionally carne asada fries). We also love the Birria taco (pictured) & consommé. I saw that they make their tortillas in-house and fresh to order, I couldn't resist and captured the proof! The tacos were a pretty good size. Let me say, the corn tortilla was nutty, soft - I really liked the texture! The asada taco was soft, and seasoned very well with all the toppings. The guacamole was the mic drop for it! To my main event, the hot crispy fresh fish tacos was amazing (top 3). The fish was meaty, flaky and overall seasoning -toppings, had complemented in the best way possible. Initially, I gave this place 3 stars and I listed a few reasons why. The quality of their food was not lacking (except for the carne asada chips -- those were disappointing and tasted stale), but the portion size, amount of hot sauce and other things were not to my liking. I wanted to update my review because since then, I have probably ordered from this establishment at least five more times and they're just very consistent. The rolled tacos are pretty jumbo (they ARE "monster rolled tacos" I found out), their carne asada quesadilla is huge and filled with protein, and their al pastor burrito remains great (though small sometimes).
