The cashier that helped (actually aggravated the heck out of me) apparently was in training however there was NO adult supervision with her! Had to repeat my order back to her seven times before some old guy finally decided to drag his lazy a** over to help her! She was going to charge me over $18.00 for a just under a $14.00 order! I visit this location every other month or so at various times since I've moved out here in 2016. Customer service and food quality has always been the usual you expect from a typical fast food restaurant. But one thing has always been consistent and it's the customer service we receive from this one particular lady. She usually works nights and she has far exceeded exemplary, outstanding customer service....sometimes even rivaling some of the sit down upper end restaurants we've been to. I wish I got her name but for years, she's been delivering great customer service, even making suggestions that would enhance our food like for instance the chili I ordered tonight, Monday 8/25. She's quick, efficient, and takes care of small details without compromising her dedication to providing good quality service. My husband and I love Wendys . While staying in Jamul while running errands we stopped at this Wendys in Chula Vista. We ordered our food, I used their app to get ad discount they offered and my husband used his Free Frosty key ring he's been wanting to use for months lol . The cashier was friendly, another employee immediately gave us our drink cup. We got our meals quickly, hot and delicious. I was craving the Parmesan chicken salad and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was clean and ample seating. The music was nice to listen to while enjoying our meal. My husband really enjoyed the chicken nuggets with their famous ghost pepper ranch!! read more

I'm really sad to say this place despite renovation has gone down hill in all possible aspects. Because of these reasons it'll be awhile until I return.. - Prices have gone up after years of having the same deals. -Burgers have shrunk significantly - The spicy chicken sandwich meat has been tough the last few visits. - The cleanliness of this location was pretty nasty. ( I understand it's a fast food restaurant) but If your seating people inside I do believe it should be bare minimum clean. - They take awhile despite not having much clientele. Just came from this Wendy's on 12/12/24 at 730pm and wow absolutely HORRIBLE! The lady at the front was rude and lacked any kind of customer service. All the employees looked like they hated being there and it showed in the quality of the food. Barely edible and extremely overpriced. If I could give this place a 0 I would. I was employed at this Wendy's for a few months and my experience was horrific. To begin with the store owner Paige W. guilt tripping young employees (16-17 years old) to come into work when they are physically ill not only violates food safety laws but is child labor exploitation. Aside from this there was an older staff member (40ish years old) named Nathan who would sexually harass 17 year old employees working there. These are just some of the issues you should consider if your considering working at Wendy's, If you're just stoping by to grab some food... Due to how extremely understaffed this store is the bathrooms are often out of soap/paper towels etc.) and the dining room can be absolutely filthy. As for the food.... When I worked as a sandwich maker I was instructed to save burgers that were made incorrectly then pick them apart to re-use what I could for another order (sometimes 2-3 hours later) and when I worked as a fry cook and there were MULTIPLE occasions where I had to pick hair out of the fries and nuggets. As for the chili, it's made out of the burger meat that was too dry/old to serve on a burger. As for the potatoes about half of them are dark brown on the inside so we have to find which one is least expired to give to the customer. read more

Just so "meh" I've waiting a while to review this place because let's be real, fast food places are so "hit-or-miss." Lately however, this establishment has gone downhill by SO much. The workers here honestly don't have common sense and most of them are rude. Here are a few different examples: 1. Not specific to one time, but they've forgotten parts of my order MULTIPLE times, at different times of the day. 1a. TODAY, when I tried calling because I got home and realized that they forgot my chili, NO ONE WOULD PICK UP. THANKS! REALLY GREAT SERVICE HERE, GUYS. 2. They're so stingy about sauces for some reason. Even if I'd have to pay for extra, I don't expect attitude to come with that request. 3. They don't understand their own rewards and offers program on their app. It's so hit-or-miss when I try to use them at this location because they don't understand how it works. I understand that this place is understaffed, but the lobby was closed during the day at 1pm. I was assigned 2 orders for ubereats and it's just very inconvenient for the lobby to be closed. I placed an order on the mobile app. I just don't understand how hard it is to read the order on the receipt. It's very simple! I asked for a single cheese burger with NO MAYO OR KETCHUP!! And on top of that this location was out of lettuce too. I was okay doing without the lettuce but not the mayo & ketchup. Went today only and entirely because my daughter wanted her mini frosty, and had convinced me stop and get mine too. I sent in my daughter because I didn't want to be on the line for that; just to witness my daughter come back sad and embarrassed. I then drove through the drive through to explain the cashier--who in fact called who appeared to be the manager (older guy with glasses) AND another 3 people standing there to listen to what I had to say. I told the manager that this is the first time that something like this happened and that I didn't appreciated it. I explained to him--and everyone else there at the little window--that in the past I had gotten our frosties inside or at the window with no incidents; and the fact that I didn't have my key tags this time was due to the fact that a few of the employees had mentioned that they many times don't ask for them; and that I actually don't need them; and I didn't wanted to go back home just to get them this particular time. The manager stated that I should have the key tags with me all the time in order to get them--to which I agreed; except for the fact that maybe then ALL of his employees should be on the same page and request it every time and not misinform customers. The manager then proceeded to offer me the frosties--sounded as if he was doing me a favor; but I declined. I added that I would go back, with my key tags next time, but I certainly didn't appreciated to be treated like we were trying to get away with mini frosties for free !! Going through the drive through they forgot to give us our drinks. They forgot a few items that we ordered so we tried to go into the store to get our items that we paid for.
