Cute little winery that serves local wine or wine slushies! We come to eat close by often and had seen it but never stopped by. It sure was a refreshing stop to a hot day! The girl that took care of us was nice and explained the different types of slushies (from sweet to less sweet and dry), the sizes and how they have a card you need to sip on the wines on the machines. So I wouldn't consider this a traditional winery. I thought it would have wone tastings and while you can get pours of their wines it's not like a tasting. The real reason people come here are the slushies (which unfortunately they don't sell the wine they use for these) they have basically every fruit flavor and have multiple sizes and an option to get a reusable cup. If you're not a big drinker or are there with kids or a designated driver they have a non boozy slush that i liked even better than the small booze drink I got. read more

We started coming here right when Ken and Kelly opened, 10 years ago. What a venue! The Winery has evolved into an amazing place to dine and have wine. It was abuzz today with activity. Mia was hosting a candlemaking event, with a beachy theme. The candles looked beautiful. I will definitely partake in the next party! We "got slushed" with twisted combos of Island Breeze and Hurricane Irma. Tasty and refreshing. Isabella quickly took our order. We had a delish meat and cheese board...Coppa & Rosemary Asiago. The warm baguette is their signature bread and worked perfectly with the dipping oil with pesto. We sat outside and devoured the ocean views...and our food. Brant was the perfect waitstaff and was very attentive. Ken added the wine sampling board to try all of their onsite offerings. They had $5 sangria on Sundays... and various wine slushie flavors. It was a bit overwhelming trying to decide. I said numerous times- I don't know what to do. John was much better at deciding- lemonade wine slushie. Done. I went with the sangria to avoid having to choose a flavor of slushie. The sangria was like nothing I have ever had- light and sweet. John's lemonade slushie had a dry taste of the wine mingling with the lemon. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed the breezes and views. We cashed out and bought a bottle of their wine for good measure. Service was wonderful. They also have a menu of charcuterie choices. There was a server who checked on patrons outside too. I am sure this place gets busy on a hot summer day with their wine slushies. Sadly, it was cold and the sun was starting to set for our visit. I am not going to pretend to know anything about great wine but I do like wines more on the sweet side which they had a few but the slushies seemed more up my alley. Other than the price. I do think that for the size cup, it was a little over priced, the smaller size down would have been like taking a frozen shot so that may be good if planning on trying several. I got the Pina Colada and it was very good but again, due to pricing it was a one and done visit. The location is great, it is right on A1A in the area that is literally driving along the coast so views of the water are right there to enjoy. read more

Visiting Jacksonville from Chicago and en route my friends made it point to stop here and I can't thank them enough. This place is goooood. I wish we had a place like this back home. I would have a serious addiction. Being directly located across from the beach adds to the experience. They specialize in wine slushies. I didn't know I needed wine in this capacity until this day. You can try all their flavors before purchasing. You can choose from their flavor combos or create your own. There's a wine for every flavor palate. I love all things sweet and sour. They come in different sizes at great price points and they also serve food. This place is AWESOME. Do yourself a favor, and buy their discount cup on your first trip. You will use it and get your money's worth VERY quickly. I'm always hesitant about wine slushies because I don't like sweet wine (or sweet drinks in general). The server recommend the Dry Humor slushie (Pinot Gris and raspberry), and it was delicious. My friend got the concord and also thoroughly enjoyed it! We came on a Tuesday afternoon/evening and it was pretty empty! This is my favorite place! The wine slushies are delicious (get the Hurricane Dorian!) and the service is the best! We just moved to the area and have already been several times and taken several guests with me who love it just as much. They have a nice outdoor, ocean view area with plenty of shade and inside seating as well. At night the string lights are lit and so pretty. Music is always playing through the speakers to add to the atmosphere and there are games available to play while you're there. Of course, to go drinks are still a thing, so you can just pick up a slushy and take it with you! They also offer a nice selection of meat and cheese boards that are so good, you have to try them. Very yummy slushees! The owners are super nice and helpful with picking out flavors. I started with the sunrise: concord (tastes like grape juice), mango (my least favorite), and raspberry (also yummy). Second time I had the twist - and was pleasantly surprised by the watermelon - which was a jolly rancher goodness. Friend had lemonade/blueberry/raspberry, which she'd had before and liked. Second time, she tried the pinot/concord combination - which wasn't as good as her first. The Pinot didn't sell her. Definitely a must if you're hanging out on the beach. SUMMER & WINE SLUSHIES? Yes, please! They offer 7 or so wine slushie flavors but you can also mix to create your own delicious flavor combo. 50 cents each to sample & pick your favorite(s). Or, if you tell them your preference (aka sweet wine) they'll offer up recommendations. They're super friendly like that :) Check the board/website for daily specials. Saturday is $5 Sangria (my weakness). I also read about wine ice cream days but not sure if that's still offered? If it is, I'll be sure to go for that next time as well as the tapas! The other half got some kinda IPA if wine slushies isn't your thing. FYI a wine slushie is just 100% frozen wine. It's wine put in a machine & frozen. Who would say "no" to an adult icee on a 90+ degree summer day? Anyway, there's an assortment wine bottles & other gifty merchandise for sale as well as some indoor seating. There's also an assortment of board games available near the bar. The outdoor seating area has both uncovered and covered options which is almost a necessity with the glaring sun and the fact that it almost ALWAYS sporadically rains or sprinkles in Florida. Staff is very friendly & attentive and checks in often to see if you need any refills. There's a parking lot with probably a dozen or so spots or parallel parking off A1A. Otherwise, just walk up from the beach! We saw quite a few people making their way up from the beach to refill their tumblers with to-go wine-slushies.
