The owner Jeff and his assistant were welcoming and allowed us to sample a few cheeses which we subsequently bought. The store is well laid out with an extensive wine selection. Jeff helped us pick out a wonderful Italian wine from the slopes of Mount Vesuvius that was reasonably priced. The store also has a well curated selection of serving platters, and table and kitchen ware. This shop is a must stop for us when we come down this way!! read more

This place is gorgeous and they have a large assortment of beautiful speciality items. I was visiting the neighborhood and stumbled across this gem! I mean if you need a gift basket this place can make you a gift basket you won't forget. The cheeses wines and olive oils are just some of the amazing things they carry. The staff is very helpful and sweet. Don't be intimidated by the beautiful glassware in the window the prices are reasonable and worth it! read more

I absolutely love this shop. Jeff and his team have always sent the best baskets. He's so knowledgeable on wines and gives the best advise for pairing. I was able to make a couple great baskets for friends with specific dietary restrictions. He had so much to choose from! This is a real staple to Ormond Beach. On my recent visit to the Daytona Beach area I discovered this small and incredibly wonderful wine and cheese store. The proprietor, Jeff, has deep knowledge of his products and communicates excellently about them. My fulltime hometown has lots of cheese stores with vast selections. I didn't think I would ever have a prayer of finding anything comparable in DB and yet here it is -- Bon! So for my last 2 nights in DB I went and bought an evening snack just for that night (as I would eat it ALL at once otherwise). Next time I'll be there EVERY night. Thank you Jeff! Additionally, the assorted gourmet crackers and cookies looked so good I was tempted to bite into the bags. But alas, I am "watching" my weight and resisted. Highly rcommended!!! read more

This was another place we visited on Small Business Saturday after sampling some of their homemade flavored marshmallows (yum!) a few stores over. We were greeted at the door and were free to wander the store. The storefront is spacious with all of their products neatly organized on the shelves against the walls. And those shelves are filled with an amazing assortment of drinks, spices and treats from all over the world! This place smelled delicious! read more

Great shop with a very knowledgeable owner. They are purely retail and thus you can not buy a glass and enjoy when you are in the area. You can buy a bottle and have a party in the park next door sometimes. BTW they have an artisan balsamic vinegar that is so good you will not believe it. The owner poured some and gave it to be to drink. I thought he ws crazy but when you get a great aged vinegar it is sweat and flavorful like wine. I bought a bottle and have returned to refill it. read more

This shop is the real deal. Intimate, thoughtful and full of curated wine, cheese and other gourmet goodies. As a frequent out of town visitor, I was craving a quality, independent wine shop and certainly satisfied that craving with Bon! Gourmet. I highly recommend the shop. Further details are as follows: wines arranged first by staff picks then by region. I found: 1. A Cleto Lambrusco sparkling rose that I regularly buy in a specialty shop in Chicago; 2. A delicious Sancerre for my mother in law who loves Sauvignon Blanc who is just discovering the Loire Valley; 3. A Willamette Valley PN for Thanksgiving dinner that was not "too much wine" for family but delicious enough for me and my wife. Perfect!! read more

I am so excited I found Bon! Gourmet. Incredible cheese selection, charcuterie and other accoutrements, great selection of wine and impeccable customer service. We stopped in on Saturday afternoon and left with sparkling rose, several cheeses (funky blue from Italy, raw gouda with fenugreek from Wisconsin & an English cheddar), lovely Calabria anchovies and cured meat from the Spotted Trotter in Atlanta. After thawing I discovered it was 2 pieces, not one solid piece. Between the 2 pieces was a LARGE piece of fat. Whomever vacuum packed this item did this intentionally because it was obvious. Very disappointing because we wanted one thick piece for the BBQ. I will NOT be purchasing this item again because I typically purchase this item at Whole Foods and have never had this issue. 3. Chicken, all types. very top quality and delicious. 4. You need to be selective on their vegetables and fruit. Some items were dented and wilted. These unsellable items should be removed. 5. I will return in the future but will be highly selective on which items I will be purchasing especially because prices are on the upper end.

I got here a few minutes after they opened so there was no line and the woman working the register was so friendly and accommodating, the older gentleman I presume is George was busy tending to the pizzas and sandwich orders that were coming in. I planned to eat this outside at one of the older tables and chairs which I found pretty cool so told her that and she had the sandwich put in a container and didn't bag it but ensured I had plenty of napkins. The sandwich was $17.04 with tax so there went my twenty dollar bill with the tip. Well that seemed a little expensive to me until I opened it up once I grabbed a seat in the shade and found it was easily enough for two or one with half to take home. There are a number of reasons I give them 4 stars but honestly the sandwich was at best a three, it was a little chewy with maybe a little too much time on the grill. I'm happy I was able to experience this place and I'm planning to return to experience a few slices of pizza (two slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza and a can drink for $8.00) sounds more than reasonable to me...

One person got a boba drink and it was ok. Shakes were good. Fruity ice creams tasted fake vs. from fresh fruit. Service was efficient but without personality or warmth. No indoor seating.

The owner, Chris, was very helpful and friendly. He pointed us in the direction of the liquors we were looking for. Chatted with us about the selections and carefully bagged our purchases. He charged the customer 20 extra dollars, the guy looked at his receipt and said "what was I charged 20 bucks for?" The owner said "your joke". That is unlawful. Just because you own a store you may not do whatever you please. Customer must only pay for what they have purchased. You are not allowed to tax on extra payment. The slushie machines I've seen cleaned with bleach. Not food safe. The owners does want to use other methods that are suggested, despite being warned.. The machines are not food safe period, observe how the employees handle them if you ever see them being cleaned. Regulations are not followed at this store or enforced.

I looked at him and told him this non-drinking idiot was still spending money in his store. I may not drink, but I know a whole lot of people who do, and I will be letting them all know to avoid this store.
