WOW. A new Liquor store in the Granada plaza by the beach. Prices are comparable to Total wine. An amazing selection of spirits. They also have wine, beer, cigars and hookah items. The service was very good. I asked what the price was for the Caymus and another staff member pulled one up and had the price for me. They just opened July 4th 2024. The ambiance reminded me of a nice restaurant when I first saw the window display. This will be a busy addition by the beach. read more

The first time I went to this liquor store was on 11/12/25. I liked how the store felt; it was more like a liquor lounge than a store. It's not like any most liquor store. The staff was great, and they knew a lot about the products. They had a lot of liquor and wine to choose from. This is definitely a high-end liquor store with reasonable prices. The bathroom was really nice. It was amazing, more like the bathroom in a fancy restaurant. No one can tell that I was in a liquor store because of the beautiful pictures I took. Is it a liquor store, or is it a spa? This is the cleanest, and best smelling liquor store within a two hour drive of Ormond Beach. You have to give them credit for the sound of rainforest showers and an incredibly tidy environment. From the glowing shelves, to the tranquil music - it's truly a zen atmosphere at Ormond Liquor. And trust me, you're going to need the stress reducing atmosphere to be able to stomach the pricing of this place... because this store is making sure profits come first and loyal customers come second. The Walgreens a couple doors down will sell wine about 20-30% cheaper than this place. They seem to be taking advantage of the proximity to the ocean with the way they have priced everything. You can save several dollars on most Sauvignon Blanc by simply walking a few extra steps to the right of their entrance. It gets really out of hand in the whiskey category. Allocated bottles are about double that of MSRP. Eagle Rare at $95, and Blanton's at $159. Even standard bottles like Russel's Single is $85 here. The store is even pompous enough to feature a collection of BTAC bottles with a huge sticker that says "not for sale" along with Weller 107 with no price tag. All featured behind a beautifully illuminated glass window with locks. It's almost as if they are in the business of flexing, but not selling. I can't stand stores like this. You might give Ormond residents the illusion you are the most tidy, neat, and relaxed liquor store in town... but your pricing spikes my blood pressure and stresses me out. If this place played their spa music louder and offered cheap sunscreen... you could bask in the glow of their fluorescent shelf lighting and convince yourself you were at a Sun Tan City back in 2005. I'm not saying I ever did that by the way... the Sun Tan City thing. I definitely don't have social media proof I've ever been there before. This being said, the front desk lady was very kind and thoughtful when I've been here. But her ownership needs to rethink their pricing strategy. Could be one of the best liquor stores in the area if they decided to be remotely competitive. read more

"Wow" is all I can say! I'm from New York State and have never experienced a cleaner, modern, courteous liquor store. I am thankful for their hospitality and going the extra mile. I'm surprised to see such an elaborate, colorful negative review about pricing; most pricing was better than what I experience in WNY...
