    Pretty good charcuterie
    Tim S.

We finally got to stop into one of the rare wineries in Florida , Dragon Flower. I had heard about it and we planned to stop in when in the neighborhood. I was up to see my parents so it was a perfect opportunity. Well not perfect, as we had our dog Augie. but when I asked it was a very dog friendly spot out back so we headed that way. They had many many tables out back, some with campfires and others that were set up in a circle or picnic tables as well. We got our tasting setup and a charcuterie board too and grabbed a spot. It was a perfect time to be sitting in the back yard with a beverage. they weren't the best wines but they were fine. We weren't expecting Napa Valley greatness in the reds but the whites were crispy goodness. There was a horse corralled nearby too so that added to the airy spring ambiance of the place. After a nice tasting and a darn good charcutier board(except a cheese they added that was exceptionally spicy, and I like hot). the spicy cheese didn't belong on the board. It was great to find out the northern Florida winery is good. I look forward to spreading the word.

Charcuterie, pretzel and wine tasting. (:

Beautiful indoors and out. Friendly staff and regular customers. The wine samples were fun and the charcuterie was amazing. So was the enormous pretzel!

Friendly staff and gorgeous outdoor space! They are also dog friendly. Plenty of outdoor space for group gatherings and delicious variety of wines. It's perfect if you enjoy sweeter wines.

We found this little winery looking for local things to do this weekend. What a beautiful and quiet place. We tried some flights of their wine, had a few beers, and got to talk to the owner, Dean. Everyone was very welcoming and personable. The wine was delicious and refreshing, and the crowd favorite of the night was called the Carlos. We spoke to Dean for a little about how he started making wine and got to know him a little bit. Great guy and a great place to check out. They even rent their outdoor space as a venue. It's such a beautiful little setup.

We were heading back from Ocala on Hwy 42 in Summerfield and saw wine tasting signs along the road. The Dragon Flower Winery is set back off the road. What looked to be a well maintained old farm house was to our left as we came to a large parking lot in front of a long wine crafting building. On the west end of the building was the tasting room. They have both their handcrafted wines and craft beers. They had 8 wines/meads to taste and or buy. The tastes were small cup for 25 cents. You can buy by the glass or the bottle. There were 3 reds, 2 blush and 3 whites. We decided to do a tasting. The tasting is done in small plastic cups then placed on a barn wood board with holes to hold the cups. They were unique I tend to like big bold reds so the 3 reds were a must for me. They were all good and it was a great experience. I look forward to going back.

The wonderful inside with good vibes and all smiles

Dragon Flower Winery is super cosy and welcoming venue. Right off the door we were met with all smiles wonderful hosts! The wine samples were 50 cents each which made the experience not only pleasant, but quite affordable. One can wine taste right here or can take the samples outside where the love music is. Speaking of outside, it was fabulous! Covered area and green garden next to it have all anyone would need: covered seated area by the music for the adults; garden area with a football and mini basketball game for the kids; few horses nearby that allow one to feed them. The atmosphere was very relaxing, pleasant and recharging for outside experience! The winery does their wines a little bit on the sweet side for my particular taste, however they tasted great! Few cheese and fruits are available as well for $10-$15 price range to share and enjoy! Whether on a solo adventure, afternoon date, or with the family - this is a great weekend spot to visit and enjoy!

Sunny side seating!! Shade other side!

Dragon Flower Winery! Outside seating, fruitful wine, amazing service and ambiance. So many people are regulars which tells you something! I come here every trip from CT to my parents house. The wine is made on site and Dean is happy to share the process and answer questions. Wine, friends and even space to hold a party! Be sure to try the Hibiscus dry and semi while you visit and of course have the freshly sliced Charcuterie Board! Dragon Flower never disappoints!

my husband and I were riding around and stumbled across this cute winery! the staff is very pleasant and the wine was AMAZING! I wish that I could give this place a thousand stars! our favorite drink was the red sangria! it was full of flavor. all of their wines are hand crafted. thank you Dragon Flower Winery for a wonderful first time experience. it will not be the last.

This was the second of two winery stops on a Saturday in December. This place is open only on the weekends but even then wasn't too crowded. Cute interior with a large patio for outdoor seating. This wine is made from hibiscus and other fruits. If you are a regular wine drinker, these wines may not be for you but if you're looking for something unique, it's a fun stop.
