The bourbon was also delicious and they make a single malt whiskey (Scotch Whiskey without it being called that) and it was seriously hard to pick a favorite! We snagged a bottle of the spiced rum and I convinced John to go with his gut and grab the single malt. He was leaning bourbon, because I lean bourbon- but the single malt would be something a little different on our bar. This rating really should be a 2 out of 5 but I am being generous. He was attentive, checked on us, was honest about the dishes, to include to making suggestions, was quick to handle issues when we had problems and got the manager before people asked for one. I knew I would like this resturant because its my style and out of the 8 people only 3 people didnt have issues with their food. (The chicken pasta dish, flatbread dish, and the steak/green bean dish). Everyone else sent their food back. The number one complaint was the food being cold. I noticed alot of the servers walking up the stairs instead of taking the elevator that cant help. My suggestion something covering the food to keep it warm and using a dum waiter pulley system to get the food up stairs quicker. But if I am being honest why the food was cold is because they tried to make everyones dish come out at the same time, they should have asked instead of making that decsion, or just bring the dishes as soon as their done. When the manger came to the table she listened to the constructive criticism and either replaced items or removed them from the ticket. I had the steak and greens and I can tell my dish was made close to last because it was still warm. But if I am being honest I was missing two items from my order that were add on (yes I was really hungary lol), the chicken I never got, and the shrimp which I eventually got but it was only 2 for 12 dollars (i dont think that how many that comes with it) both were taken off my bill. I think if people food wasnt cold they would like it. But one of the other complains was the small portions for the high price. The brazino fish was so small for that high price point, and it was sitting (hence cold) the person said they couldnt cut through it, they got a burger to replace they asked for well done not burnt and it came back medium rare and it was replaced again and was given free. The ravioli dish was small for the price they said it was good but couldnt finish it due to the sauce harding because it was cold. Both people that got the steak skewers said their dishes was cold one said the meat was really tough and chewy they sent them back. The drinks were good but the server didnt ask the person that got the margarita style drink if they wanted salt or sugar so they defaulted with salt and complained it was extremely saltly they took it back and claimed it was remade with sugar rim ( it was not lol) we all thought she was just complaining but some of us tasted it and was shocked lol they just took the old drink and poured it into a sugar rim glass it was taken again and made free. I have tried all the resturants at the forge and I will be honest they all are not good, should you try them to get your own opinion yes. But unless all of them make changes in regards to these high prices, small portions, and some times bland food this place will fail. Based on the platform's published review policies and the timeline of my case, I believe the review was removed in error. In my opinion, this is another example of WEC choosing to challenge customer criticism rather than take accountability. It only reinforces the lack of professionalism we experienced throughout our wedding planning process. I stand by every word of my original review and hope other couples will carefully consider our experience when choosing a wedding venue. - original review- Brides and grooms, beware. My fiancé and I signed a contract with the World Equestrian Center in December 2023 for our wedding ceremony in the Chapel and our reception on the Stirrups Terrace. We were thrilled, believing we had secured our dream wedding. However, just 41 days before our big day, I discovered on WEC's website that they were hosting a Grand Prix event in the main arena and selling tickets for a dining experience on the Stirrups Terrace where our dream reception was to take place. Learning about this significant change online, rather than through our WEC representative, highlights their unprofessionalism--unacceptable for a venue of this caliber. When we confronted WEC, they admitted to being aware of the conflict but insisted we relocate our reception to another area. All that was offered to my fiancé and I for this massive inconvenience was a 40 x 40 tent for 74 guests. Since we were unwilling to move our reception to a new location, WEC cancelled our contract with 37 days to go before our wedding date. They also refused to mass cancel our room block so my fiancé and I had to contact every guest that booked at the hotel to call and cancel. This breach of contract has utterly ruined our wedding day. It feels like a blatant bait-and-switch, driven by greed; they clearly prioritize making money over honoring commitments to their clients. They will toss aside your wedding contract if a better offer comes along. I strongly advise prospective couples to consider other options before trusting the World Equestrian Center with such an important occasion.

Once you walk in the restaurant is very on theme with the whole horse vibe. There are saddle style seats which I thought was such a fun touch. The service was really friendly and while our main dishes took a little while to come out, our pretzel came out first and that thing was HUGE. I had to stop eating it because I knew I wouldn't be able to finish my burger... which ended up happening anyway because I was too hungry! My husband and I both got burgers. He got the Wagyu burger, and I got the regular Cowboy burger. We also got two alcoholic drinks and we both really enjoyed them.
