My car was taken to them by my insurance company to get an estimate. when it was done, FIX Auto refused to share the estimate with me as the car owner. When I checked with other collision repair centers they all said that it is the customer's/ car owner right to get a detailed estimate. I asked for the estimate and the person gave me some B.S. answer that my particular insurance company doesn't allow them to share estimates. However when I asked others they all said that was not the case with any insurance company including mine. Really Disappointed First and Last Time to deal with them. read more

This is the WORST BODY SHOP IN CANADA !!! I gave them my truck to eliminate the rust spots, and paint it. They could have it for as long as they wanted within reason... well about 8 months latter, and taking it apart they did not put it back together the same way they got it... the rust spots were not taken care of... they used filler, the windshield leaked big time. There was bubbles in the paint. And shortly after I got it back the rust stared showing. NOW when something as bad as this job happens... who do you go to... head office, Fix Auto St. Catharines ?? Unscrupulous Business Practice On March 28, an order for a mirror had been placed. Here's how that went: March 28 - consultation; FI says mirror may arrive tomorrow March 29 - mirror not in, FI says "hopefully tomorrow" March 30 - FI says mirror will arrive Friday (Apr. 1) or Monday (Apr. 4), at the latest April 4 - was told that Fix It would return my first call in "2 minutes," waited over an hour with no response. - called back, FI says mirror was on backorder* but is in transit, could arrive in afternoon or tomorrow morning (Apr. 5) April 5 - FI pushes ETA back one day April 6 - "will call when mirror arrives" April 7 - "system is down," no update available - received number for mirror sender April 8 - item stopped at customs April 18 - I reached out to Fix It corporate customer service April 19 - St. Catharines branch calls me, informing that the mirror's status is "In packaging for the 27th [of April]" *Yes, FI had been informing me that a product on backorder would arrive the next day.* I would advise you to avoid this branch like the plague (unless you're fine with being put out of commission for a month or longer). Very Impressed with this company. I had an extreme amount of damage done to my car from a car wash. I am from Barrie and was reluctant to have work done here as the quotes seemed astronomical and from what others told me, not the greatest work. My parents live in the Niagara area and my father suggesting going to fix auto following several of his own great experiences. I am so happy I followed his advice. Firstly, they quoted far less (talking thousands) than any of their competitors. They also took the time to go over the quote and explain what needed to be done and why. I also found out that they are considered a "preferred shop" for many insurance companies because their work is top notch and they obviously have good ethical fortitude. This made the headache of dealing with the insurance company almost non-existent. As soon as I told them I was having my work done at fix auto they said "oh great thats our preferred shop, go ahead." Lastly, the paint job they did was second to none. Better then when i first bought it brand new. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone in need of auto repair. read more

DO NOT go to this guys for nothing on the world!!! I will leave my experience with them right here and right now so in the future everyone knows who they are dealing with! After we had an car accident my insurance company(same as**les like this guys) send my car to this collision centre. It took them more than a month to fix my car and it wasn't even some crazy bad accident but anyways it was annoying of course you have to be patient have no choice so just wait... One day finally they calling us that they have fixed my car so we can come to pick it up... by the way I have ford explorer 2013 a month and a half before accident bought from dealership in perfect condition. So we came to the shop to pick up our car and got stunned.. right away I noticed big deep scratch on the front right door..big one and deep one trust me and wasn't there before,and million little scratches all over my car !???! I complained of course and main menager started arguing with me that those scrathes are not from accident but I explained to him I just bought car so I know they weren't there... anyways they agreed they gonna fixed it,and they fixed deep scratch but little ones are still all over my car( what to say about this I don't even know !)... anyways I got disappointed but not much I can do so I drove home. you think that was the end ??? well it was not even close!!! 2 weeks after they fixed my car in the middle of the drive with my little son on the back seat my rear windshield got blow up all by itself,no impact,it was minus 2 on the outside so it wasn't even some extreme cold weather... Can you imagine just 2 weeks after they finally fixed my car my rear windshieild got blown up ?!? ALL BY ITSELF ???? WTF !? 2013 CAR!! so we called collision centre right away and they said its not their fault 100% they have nothing to do with that !! so I asked than why this happened whats the explanation for this,it must have some explanation !? There best explanation was it was a coincidence !!!!! WTF IM ASKING YOU AGAIN,HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE ?!? BUT.. Just wait its gonna get worse... so after little arguing Ive seen guys are du*****gs its not worth to argue ok lets try to do things on a nicest way so I asked them to give me estimate how much is gonna cost if I pay from my pocket just them to fix it ... so they gave me aprice and appointment date.... I had to drive around my car like that for couple more days and finally I brought my car in so they can fix it,it took them again 2 days to fix it and on the end when I was picking up my car right in front of the collision centre I opened my trunk door AND I COULDNT BELIEVE IT ONCE AGAIN !!! imagine how good and how profesionaly they fixed the car THEY LEFT BUNCH of SMALL PIECES OF GLASS FROM PREVIUOSLY BROKEN SHIELD INSIDE OF MY TRUNK DOOR !!!! INSIDE OF THE PLASTIC TRIM PIECE!! SO NOW WHENEVER I OPEN MY DOOR AND EVEN DURING THE DRIVE I CAN HEAR THAT PIECES MOVING INSIDE OF THE DOOR !!!......
