I have been going to Artisan for 3 years. I started going to them when we moved back to Buffalo. My 996 turbo was showing no oil pressure. I had this problem two previous times. i took it to the Porsche dealer in Baltimore and after two big bills it came back a third time. Rob called me and told me he found a service bulletin for the issue and went ahead and repaired the issue. it was half the cost and three years later still good. since then they have performed yearly service on the car and fixed several other issues. I have been so pleased that I now bring our three Mercedes' there for all service and repairs. I have recommended Artisan to friends who have also now had great experiences. read more

It was a hole in the engine. Sean contacted KIA and found out it is under power train warranty, contacted the corporate office and let me know about the warranty. My 2007 E350 had a loud bump sound in the rear. They discovered I had a broken spring a worn shocks. Under further inspection they discovered a worn tie rod bushing and control arm bushing. All items replaced. Car now drives like a new machine. Great job David Bowens read more

This business is a scam. They have untrained, unskilled mechanics who spend excessive time on figuring out how to attempt to repair what you've already explained to them. When they eventually get to your car ( no loaner cars,) they take even longer at their attempt to repair your vehicle. Parts? They admit to using aftermarket and used parts and literally charge one hundred to thousand percent of fair market value. When you get your vehicle back, it is as bad or worse than when you brought it in. You ask them to honor their scam warranty, that seems reasonable on paper, they charge you again. This charade continues until you get tired of bleeding your hard earned money every time you walk through the door. I have been there twice with one botched task and have to walk away from the fourth time for the exact same repair they keep charging me for on another issue. They will blame anyone on the planet before they admit to their blatant incompetence. Do yourself a favor and go to a qualified dealer who will treat you with respect and competence. The initial repair will be performed properly and honored by an actual warranty. You will not have to keep going back, taking off of work, getting rides, getting aggravated and continuously paying over and over for unqualified kids to YouTube how to work on any given car. If you choose to go there, be prepared to hear what heroes they are when they tell you, and they will tell you that they " spent eight hours on your car but are only charging you for six." Took my car here for front end damage. When I picked it up, I was amazed at how beautiful the repair was. The car looked brand new - quite a feat, as the car is 14 years old! In these times of unscrupulous services and shoddy workmanship, it is refreshing to see a company that takes pride in their work and goes the extra mile for the customer. My car was involved in a rear end collision that ripped off my bumper, shattered my tail light, and dented the body so bad my trunk wouldn't close. Artisan did a fantastic job at repairing all the damage in just a couple days after parts arrived, everything works great now and looks brand new. The staff and owner were helpful and understanding through the whole process. I have also had suspension work and transmission fluids flushed at this shop. My wife and I have a BMW SUV and a Mercedes sedan, both near the end of their warranties. Trying to find a place in Buffalo to service German cars with seasoned expertise was very difficult. My wife found Artisan Automotive and I couldn't believe how knowledgeable they were and willing to work on our cars. We never feel scammed; everyone's always courteous and treat us like family. I live in Albany NY. My daughters car overheated due to a cracked radiator and we had to have it towed. I went on the internet to search for a shop.I spoke to Rob at Autopia. He answered the phone on the first or second ring with a pleasant demeanor. He said sure send the car over. The car was towed at about 2:30pm. I called at 5pm to see if car had arrived and Rob advised that he had already ordered the parts and the car would be ready in the morning. My daughter picked up the car at 1:30pm the next day. I was very fortunate to have stumbled across Autopia. Honest, trustworthy, reasonably priced! Wish there was an Autopia in Albany. Thanks Rob. read more
