Took weeks to complete the the issue is not the but rather the quality. We started hearing a noise and took the car to be . They found a bolt holding part of the radiator that auto had supposedly fixed had fallen out. A number of the other bolts were loose. All in all it seems a pretty shotty job to me. And even though the work is warranted given the quality of the work the first time around or the lack there of, we decided to get their repair done elsewhere. I took my car into a different shop for evaluation of the repairs that Fix Auto did and they found multiple parts that were not replaced after the accident that should have been. In addition, there was a bracket that was broken by Fix Auto in the process of "fixing" the bumper that wouldn't clip in. That's how my paint got scratched-- as I suspected, they forced it. All of the great customer service in the world can't make up for this-- I'm really sad and disappointed. We are now on almost an entire month of not having my car (with the weeks added up) to fix a simple fender bender. Please, consider taking your car elsewhere. :( read more

I came over here to get an estimate and was super impressed! There was a little mix up with my appointment, but the worker said it was fine took his time with me. We took a look at my car (one dent and one part that I thought was scratched). We went back in and discussed my bumper. He was very straight forward and honest with estimate. He explained the process and what would happen if I were to decide to take it in. However, he was honest and suggested it probably just wasn't worth it at this time to even do it while weighing the pros and cons and considering how small the dent was. I really appreciated that they weren't just out for the money. After our conversation, the worker even came back out and wiped off the marks on my car! Turns out they were oil stains. Where do I even start? Process was great from start to finish! Fix Auto was one of the places recommended by my car insurance to get my car fixed. (Someone hit my parked car). They were the third place I called, but they could get me in for an estimate one week before the other two places I called. When I met with Charles, he was very friendly and professional. He took his time to explain the entire process. He even talked to me about extra steps to take to make sure I wasn't paying my insurance too much and to make sure my insurance rates didn't increase. He estimated it would take a week to complete the repair. There was a scratch on my car that needed repair unrelated to the hit, and when I asked Charles about it, it was more than I cared to pay for such a minor scratch, so he put Mylar on it to patch it up a bit! Also, Charles recommended that I take my bike rack off my car because my little sedan is not meant to carry that type of weight for long periods of time because it can ruin the suspension - very helpful info! Three days after I dropped off the car, it was ready!!!!!! When I went to pick it up, it looked brand new, AND it was cleaned inside and out, except for a couple spots with fresh bird poop. Charles would not let me leave until the bird poop was cleaned off, and the guys did it immediately. I was so impressed. Exceptional service! As others have mentioned, Charles is great and took the time to talk things through. Once repairs were underway, they went back to my insurance company and asked for a better repair job than the initial estimate. They were declined but came back with enough proof that my insurance okayed it. I am in complete agreement that what Charles proposed was more of a permanent fix and I thank him for arguing the point with my insurance. I've been to them three times in a row and the overall experience is quick and good. However, the last time I had them fix my car, which is from Jan 25-Feb 5, I didn't get the best service they normally offer. At the time I picked up my car with one hubcap missing as they are working to find the matching one, they told me they'd contact me when the cap arrives. After I picked up my car, I called the shop 3 times and still waiting on 5/5 after 3 months. It is already charged on the bill to insurance about 90+ dollars for it. But I don't want to wait forever so I just ordered a matching hubcap from eBay for 33 dollars and will be receiving it in a week. I have been quite frustrated with this as I see the missing hubcap everytime driving my car. read more

So I had some service done on my car earlier this year. I had a front bumper piece replaced, as well as some scratches buffed/painted over. I was originally very happy with the work that had been done, but I noticed that one of my car panels had been touched-up with paint that was lighter than the rest of my car. It wasn't until 8 months later that I decided to contact Fix Auto Interbay about it. I once again talked to Charles who was more than happy to accommodate me. He told me that I could come in any time during the day to get my paint fixed up. It took just under two days to get all the work done on my car. Not only did Charles opt to fix the paint which I had asked for, but he fixed another deep scratch, and washed my car inside and out, and all of this was free of charge! I had a problem with my previous service and Charles did everything to make me a happy and satisfied customer. I live all the way down in Renton but I drive up here every time I need something done because of Fix Auto Interbay's great service and price. I was rear-ended so my repair was simple, but they took the time to explain what they knew of insurance since the person who hit me was not insured. They ordered the parts, billed my insurance directly and got it done in one day. Everything looks great but there's double icing on this cake: 1) they washed the car, which was a nice and unexpected surprise and 2) they thoroughly cleaned the inside, which made my whole week. When I went in for a quote to replace my bumper, they fully informed me of all of the options and let me participate fully in every step of the decision making process including procuring parts. For the repair, they were able to exactly color match the bumper within 10 minutes and the actual bumper replacement on a separate day took them only one morning's worth of time. Prices here were quite reasonable and for this caliber of service and friendliness, I would pay more. The paint job was good. Back hatch wasn't attached correctly and scratched the bumper. I was in California when I noticed it, as I moved right after I got the car back. The owner was very aggressive in his response that I must have had someone hit me and that is wasn't their fault. I took it to a shop in California right after I noticed it and he said they didn't line up the tailgate properly when they put it on. The owner said challengingly that he would pay to have it shipped back to Seattle but if it wasn't their fault I would pay shipping and repairs, which he never meant to do, just very defensive and aggressive about a simple issue. They also attached in new tow hitch without 4 bolts that had snapped during the accident so the hitch sagged to the point it was almost useless and the carrier kept sinking lower and lower, dragging on the ground. Cost me $450 to get the bolts extracted and the hitch put on properly. Had to take off two of the three items on it (which was incredibly inconvenient because the car was already packed), and buy a jack at Walmart to try and jack it up, and got pulled over by the cops, and turned away at Yosemite that the sparks might create a fire. Wasn't their fault but parts took a long time to come in so I was there many times. I asked 4 times to have the black pillars painted on my dime, and they just lied, I guess they just kept forgetting and said it was done multiple times when they had just put wax on them that quickly wore off. I also had to push to remind them to get the rims painted. They also weren't able to get the AC guy in so I had to do that on my own. Camera tripod and a few things went missing, not saying anyone stole them, just weren't there when I thought to look for them, which was after I had moved to California, right after the car was done. Update. Just discovered that the reason my back hitch sagged to the ground on my road trip to California is that when they replaced the hitch from the accident, they didn't drill out the four snapped bolts and just stuck it on without them. Cost me $450 to have them drilled out and replaced, plus a wrecked rack, an extra night in a hotel due to being turned back at Yosemite because of sparks and dragging rack, and pulled over by a cop. The owner, of course, said he would do nothing about it. read more

Had a great experience with FIX. My former body shop closed and I was bereft. But I found Charlie and Dustin at FIX and they were great. Their cost estimate was clear and comprehensive and fair. I paid for the repairs myself and they gave me a bit of a break Their scheduling was perfect and the work they did was perfect. Part was a whole new bumper and rear light housing. Part was just repainting some parts that lost their surface. (My car is old but beloved.) I hope I don't back into a concrete bollard again but if I do, I'll go back to FIX. I scraped the side of my car against a metal bracket sticking out from a parked truck on the side of the street. It gauged pretty deep into the passenger door and body of the car. Fix auto Interbay gave me what I felt to be a reliable and honest quote which matched up with what my insurance estimated. The repairs took a while, but I was kept updated by calls and texts from fix auto letting me know the status of repairs and estimated finishing dates. They were very responsive and kind, I spoke most often with Charles, who was very helpful and nice. When I picked up my car, it had been thoroughly cleaned both inside and out and the repairs were flawless. Fix Auto may do fine work but they seem too busy to get back to a customer looking to get work done and pay with cash. If they had answered my emails after the initial estimate, I would have been happy to use them but they did not answer my questions and did not have the courtesy to simply tell me they were too busy or that they wouldn't be able to schedule the work for a certain amount of time. I went back for a revised estimate because on their first estimate, they failed to see significant damage to the rear. They did include the damage on the 2nd estimate, after I pointed it out to them. They missed out on $2K+ worth of work which would have been paid to them in cash, no insurance claim. read more

Tried calling and no answer, went to an answering service who had no clue about this business, Scheduled an appointment in person and then again over the phone to reschedule (both with the owner), neither made it into their calendar. I was told they are so busy they are scheduling appointments 2-3 weeks out, most other places I called for an estimate can take a walk in or same week at least. Owner took a very quick glance at my car and told me I was looking at $6k to $9k to fix, I have a written estimate from Maaco for $1900.
