Will NEVER use this shop again, anywhere. I was so angry and disappointed with the service (or lack of) from this shop. They were clearly waiting to get "more money" from our insurance carrier - and after the manager "mansplained" to my young adult (but never had to deal with this before) daughter "how things work Miss" - I lost my sh*t. They were: NOT proactive. NOT helpful. Gaming the industry. Focused on company over customer service. ZERO sense of urgency. So, after over two (2) weeks of BS from this shop: "we're waiting on the insurance supplement", which was a lie. (We ALREADY had the check from insurance for the supplemental amount.) So, I walked in there and demanded to get my car out of their lot. Drove it down the street, to another shop, and should be done this Friday. ONE week later from drop off. DO BETTER! read more

I went through Caliber via my insurance company and thankfully this place had decent reviews. There was a little bit of miscommunication from the beginning but once I got back on track they handled the repairs quickly and kept me informed through the entire process via text. Another plus was I was able to reply via text messages on the status of my car and not only that, get a reply back in a timely manner. Props to Tyler for getting my car done right when I needed it and answering all my calls and texts messages. If you're able to go through your car insurance I highly recommend this shop. Mike at Caliber Collision is so kind, helpful and understanding. A new corner light for the passenger side of my '91 pick-up truck was purchased on Ebay and I struggled to get the old broken one out...tried O'Reily's and they were helpful but unsuccessful. Next I headed to Jiffy Lube for an oil top off. I explained my problem to them and they suggested Caliber Collision across the street. Mike asked for a minute to clean up and then he helped me w/out any hesitation. He was so skilled and knowledgeable...he got that old part out with some muscle, bangs and determination. Then he put the new one in in all in less than five minutes! Did he ask for payment? Nope, my smile was enough. It's not everyday there's a positive experience w/ car issues. Took my 2025 Camry here after its side mirror got clipped. They did a great job explaining how things would work with insurance, what was covered, etc (granted it was a simple repair with no deductible). And since I requested a rental, they promptly called Enterprise to have someone pick me up and take me to the rental place so I could pick up my rental. As for the repair, they did a FANTASTIC job & it looks like nothing ever happened! They got the parts in early & completed the work earlier than I anticipated as well. There is something FISHY about Caliber Collision. They gave me a written estimate, then informed me later, when I brought the car in, that the cost would actually be DOUBLE the original estimate. I took my car to Ballard Caliber Collision for a bodywork estimate and got a written estimate of $2,337.21. When I brought it back to have the work done they told me they thought it was going to be an insurance claim. I reminded them that I was very clear that I wanted to pay "out of pocket." They said they had already started the insurance process and "out of pocket" might be a problem. A short while later a manager came out and said the original estimate was made by an inexperienced employee, and the actual estimate was going to be over $4,000. They also emphasized twice that the cost would likely be even higher when they got into the work. I thought they seemed pleased when I declined the 100% increase. I can only guess that they have a strong financial interest for insurance involvement over private pay. I wish they had made that clear at the onset, and not wasted my time with a disingenuous excuse for avoiding private pay. I brought my car that day to J and J Collision and quickly got an estimate of $1,500 to do the work, with no run-around. And they actually ALLOWED me to pay. Imagine! read more

I was amazed by the quality of service and care that the good people of Caliber Collision gave me when repairing our car! Finding and dealing with auto repair shops can be one of the biggest pains - trying to find somewhere that's honest, doesn't charge an arm and leg, and actually listens to you is usually difficult. But not difficult at all here. Someone rear-ended our car and left a large hole in the bumper! I was able to get our car into their shop within a few days. Dropping it off, I went through the damage with their associate -- they marked what needed to be fixed in one color of marker and all other dings and marks with another color. They gave me an estimated time for repair but were honest in that they didn't know for sure because of the supply chain issues the nation is having. However, they kept me in the loop through the whole process and let me know how things were going as soon as they got updates! It turned out they received the parts sooner than they thought it would be, got the car in their repair shop, and all fixed and good to go in less time than estimated! When I picked it up, the associate again went around the car and showed me the repair and made sure I was happy with the result. Extremely happy, indeed! They made everything easy and painless - especially managing the work with insurance and rental car companies. I highly recommend Caliber Collision anything you're in need of repairs. read more

Classic nightmare situation when having a shop work on your car. Highly recommend using a different shop until general manager Diana Nguyen is replaced. Quoted almost $3000 to fix a scratch on a GT350 and front splitter piece which included needing paint so I decided to go ahead and use my insurance for the fix. 3 weeks later I pick up my car and literally all they did was spend 10 minutes buffing the scratch which just thins out my paint all around where the scratch was. Ended up charging me $1000 for a backyard fix that I didn't even sign off on and all this wonderfulness took about 3 weeks. read more

I brought my ford in for a small scrape on the side, Kyle immediately offered to try and polish it to see if that would work before talking extensive repair. Caliber Collision was Geico's choice for me after I dented the rear quarter panel on my car. The repair was flawless and the service was excellent, except for supply chain part delays that were beyond Caliber's control. The shop kept me informed during the process. Geico continued to pay for a replacement rental car. And, when nearly four weeks passed and I was nearly at the end of my considerable patience and insisted that the repair be finished within the next few days, Caliber, thanks to service advisor Rory Marchant, got the job on on the deadline. Edit: Called back to speak to general manager. Gas policy is from manufacturer, not service center. I have an older SW (late 90's) that had very minor damage to the left rear when someone bumped it while leaving a parking spot. My insurance company sent me to Caliber as one of their preferred shops. Their service was absolutely horrible: both hostile and deceptive. First, their estimate was inaccurate. They included repair to the rear door and cargo compartment window - neither of which were damaged at all. The primary damage was only a dent to the bottom of the quarter panel, and cracks in the plastic bumper cover. I believe they padded it so that the car would be totaled, which it was. (Full Disclosure: The car was repaired for a fraction of the Caliber estimate at another shop, and I pocketed $1,100 from the insurance settlement. Not a bad outcome, but I'm still very angry with Caliber for exaggerating the repair.) Second, I was treated very badly by Caliber. Once they determined that my old car would not be repaired, their tone became arrogant, condescending, and dismissive. They don't work on totaled vehicles, which is their business and I don't care. But when I asked several simple informational questions, their robotic, hostile and dismissive answer was exactly the same: "That will be for the other shop to determine." I asked if replacement parts are available for such an old car. Since the estimate indicates they are not she obviously knew the answer, but refused to share that information. I am very angry with Caliber and will never patronize them under any conditions. I'm sure they do competent repairs for late model cars. But, they appear to have a very limited repertoire, and if your problem falls outside of their comfort zone, they become hostile. They were disrespectful and deceitful to me - very poor customer service. read more

I took my 2022 Ford Mustang Mach E in for an estimate after a fender bender caused damage to my left tail lamp and bumper. I chose Caliber because my insurance and Ford both recommend them. The estimator took pictures of my car, then told me that it's difficult to get parts for Ford vehicles. She complained to me about how the shop doesn't like working on Fords. She offered me a repair appointment for the following week. The next day she called to cancel my repair appointment, saying that parts weren't available for my car. I asked when I should check back for parts availability, and she told me to wait at least a year. I asked if I could call back in a few months to check on part availability, she said no. I then asked if I should call back at all, she said no. I then pointed out it sounded like she just didn't want to fix my car, which she denied. She then told me that her shop isn't qualified to do repairs on electric cars with high voltage batteries. She also told me they can't repair damage to aluminum components. I then asked why she hadn't raised these objections when she gave did the estimate, but she had no response. I asked where I could take the car to get repaired, her response was "maybe the Caliber Collision in Bellevue, maybe the one in Everett." I reached out to several other body shops the next day. They used the estimate from Caliber to check for the parts my car needed. Three shops told me that parts availability for my car wouldn't be a problem at all - the Ford dealership checked, and they're all in-stock in Seattle or Sacramento. As an aside, Caliber is unwilling to order any parts until your car is at their shop for repair. The body shop I decided to use ordered a tail lamp for my car at the time of my estimate and is willing to install it as soon as it arrives, then they'll do the other repairs when they have shop availability next month. So...if you've got a Ford or an EV you should probably look elsewhere for collision repair. read more

They were great! Someone hit my car while parked on my property and damaged two doors, the rear quarter panel, and two of my wheels. I was not happy. The Subaru dealership recommended this shop, and it was part of State Farm's claim process. I dropped it off Tuesday evening, and they had it ready by Saturday late morning. They had it done far sooner than I ever expected. The car even came back cleaned on the inside! Cinthia was a great technician. Communication was great. There is a minor part missing (national shortage), and Cinthia said they would send someone out to my house to install it when it arrived. What a great surprise that I don't need to bring the car back. For what started as a horrible week, it's nice to have this behind me. I can't comment on the quality of the work because I am not a car expert, but it looks as good as it did before someone hit my car. They far exceeded my expectations. read more

I'm pretty wary of using any kind of auto shop since I've always maintained my cars on my own. In this case I needed paint work done and that's out of my wheelhouse. Andrew at Caliber worked with me and was clear and concise with the costs and work being performed, he gave me a rough ETA that was spot on, and the work came out looking great. I recently brought in my performance modded 3rd Gen Acura TL Six Speed to this location of Caliber Collision. I consider myself a car enthusiast and have proudly owned my car since she was brand new. I pride myself in being a very meticulous car owner in that I have painstakingly maintained my car to remain in as good operating condition in terms of performance and aesthetic shape inside and out. With that being said I did NOT want to bring my car to just any auto body repair shop. I wanted the BEST and so the natural choice was this location of Caliber. From my initial communication with their manager Jim, to working with their estimator Andrew, to the date of pickup for my car, the process was easy, professional, seamless. Everyone I spoke with understood that I loved my car and genuinely wanted to help me get her back to looking brand new. I felt confident and at ease in leaving my car in their care and I was not disappointed with the final result. Rodolfo (Jr.) did an impeccable job repainting the hood of my car. I could not recommend them and their team more. Seeing the paint correction that they did for me was a massive relief as a car owner/enthusiast and my car could not look better nor was there any noticeable indicators that any work had been done in the first place. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION FOR CALIBER, GO TO ANOTHER. My sister was sent to this place by her insurance company to get the her damage repaired (Windshield / Dent in hood / Scratches needing repainting) on her new suv which she had only driven for a month. The first time the car was done , the car was returned to her with a windshield covered in grease residue, review mirror covered in dust, white polish/residue in the interior of the car, still scratches in the roof, sticky tar on one side of the roof, white polish all over the front grill, headlights and under the hood in the engine compartment. The manager their was telling my sister that the white polish was from the car sitting their. It was clear he didn't care the car was given back to the customer in this condition. The second time my sister went back to Caliber (after they said they would detail the car and fix the scratches) the paint job was shoddy where the windshield meets the roof and a new scratch on a door handle. Polish was still on the grill and hood, not detailed well at all. Just a sloppy job. The third time she went back , she saw the sloppy paint job on the roof had still not been repaired and one other area was still unfinished. Basically she is still pending the fixes to be completed by Caliber and the communication with Caliber has been almost non existent since the first time she when to get the suv. read more

I was rear ended on April 12, 2020. Took my car to Caliber Collision on 15th Ave NW and they did an excellent job repairing it. I was kept up to date on what was happening the entire time by the office and the body work itself was incredible. Can't even tell there was any damage at all. The bumper had to be replaced and the paint blends perfectly. They even detailed my car so it looks great! All in all, I'm super pleased with the work and how they handled it.
