Nancy gives an awesome massage. I usually go to Westminster for massages; her foot massage technique is the best I've had. I went on a Friday afternoon and was the only one there for the first hour. You can not run a business in California and not speak proper English, I'm sorry! This is unacceptable and a waist of my time. I call to make an appointment today, December 31 and ask what their operating hours are since on Google search it indicates that New Year's Eve might have affected these hours (10:30AM-10PM). The guy who answers the phone repeats one sentence and one sentence alone, "what time come in?", "what time come in?", "what time come in?" So I ask of him, do you have a female massager (masseuse)? And again, the only thing robot man repeats is "what time come in?" I say, "I'm free all day. So it doesn't matter." I like to know what's the closing time and if they have a female massager! All I hear on the other end of the phone is, "what time come in?" I hung up the phone and I will cross this place out from the massage parlors available in Irvine and recommend you to find another spa, even if it's a few dollars more expensive! At least, you'll get a better service elsewhere and you deal with people who speak proper English, to understand your needs and respond accordingly. read more

I've come here at least 10 times and have had for the most part, had an enjoyable experience. However this last time I didn't book with the female technician that I usually go for and tried out a new lady. She was above average but not great and even still, I tipped 22%. The older gentleman at the front desk proceeded to lecture me about how cheap I was and told me other clients of this technician tip at least $15-$20 which would be over 50% tip. If the technicians are not getting paid enough then maybe the store owner should pay their workers a fair wage instead of guilt-tripping their customers to tip more. If the technicians are not happy with their pay and there is high turnover at this store, it's definitely not up to the customers to subsidize what they should receive from the store owner. read more

They have taken care of me with prenatal and postpartum massages during my 2 pregnancies. Richard is super nice and always greets us with a smile. Kevin is rough around the edges (not in a bad way) and nice. He knows my preferences to makes sure I get the right massage therapist. I would recommend 5 Star Massage! I have only one suggestion: my husband understands Chinese and he overheard the lead tell the therapist to finish on time in a stern manner; perhaps respectfully let her know in the future so it does not make it awkward for the customer. Came in with my friend and we got there around 9ish...he offered a half hour massage...Im sure because it was getting close to closing time. We asked a few questions and Im not sure he really understood but that's ok. My friend wanted her feet only and gave up and got the massage he said they could do. It was quite lovely. We both left relaxed and felt amazing. We felt slightly rushed to leave but there were still a lot of other people getting their massage. We liked it a lot. I wasn't offered a frequent massage card or anything, I would have definitely done that and I would go weekly when I'm in town. Wish I came earlier to experience it longer.
