I've been in this location yesterday with a friend and we both had a blast. The overall experience was great. The receptionist was really polite, made sure to ask us which pressure we like, parts we wanted more attention, he went over their services with us and was really happy to explain us everything we wanted to know. The other employees don't really speak English, but they were always nice, polite, and trying the best they could to communicate with us. The massage was EXCELLENT! I wanted to give this place 5 stars. The first time. The first time I came here was close to perfect! The pros are that it is dark and quiet, soothing music is playing, and the tables are comfortable. I wasn't excited that I called for a reflexology massage for $25...only to find out that $25 does not include back. It ended up being $35 for back included, but that wasn't the end of the world. I can't recall who gave me my massage the first time, but she was a female. It was an amazing massage. I noticed that "Kevin" had great reviews here on Yelp, so I decided that next time I came here, I would make my appointment with him. I had my second massage with "Kevin" after calling the day before and making an appointment. Firstly, the whole room was empty- awesome, right? Then why would they put me in the most well lit corner with the sun coming in? Makes NO sense. Secondly, the massage was average. "Kevin" did not massag my head, which is half the reason I get reflexology massages- the head massage part relaxes me. Then he proceeds to put my legs at a weird angle into the bucket of water. It was painful! I could not relax. So, you ask why I am putting "Kevin" in quotation marks..."Kevin" is really "Leo." I asked for my massuese's name while being rung up, and I was told Leo- I was SO confused, because I had asked for Kevin. Apparently 2 Kevins work there, so this guy goes by Leo. Hmmm...probably not going back. My time is too valuable to be stuck in a well lit corner and get massaged by someone who I did NOT make my appointment with. read more

I slept on my neck wrong 2 nights in a row. Therefore in excruciating pain. Yesterday I tried to get a quick neck and shoulder massage while at the nail place but to my avail, it did nothing. Fast forward to 24 hours later and here I am writing this review. Up until 4pm it had gotten worse and I couldn't move my neck without moving my upper body. I got in the car and started driving....while looking at yelp (don't tell anyone). I walked up the stairs to the right and knew I was in the right spot. The reviews are true, the older gentleman at the front speaks terrible English. But you remember where you are, right? You're in their world and must adapt to such. I honestly don't understand why some reviewers say they had a difficult time. If you are the type to ask 21 questions, don't go here. But if you can manage to articulate what you want in a few short words, it'll be great! They basically just need to know what kind of massage (read the board) what increment of time, and how hard or light you want the pressure. Other than that... SHHH. 35 minutes later I was a new person and could comfortably move my neck in all directions. Jerry did my massage (he massages more on the hard side) but it was just what my body needed. The place is clean and the beds are new (they don't collapse into you when you lie down). Very surprised with the level of service in absence of an English speaking masseur. The place is semi well lit but proper and clean. The individual, Lily, who provided me the service spoke little English but good enough to understand my need. She gave me a thorough full body massage I must say was one of the best I have had this year. Worth every dollar. Like most immigrants, these people work hard and hope to earn good tips by offering a good service. While I saved on the flat charge for a 90 min service, I made it up by giving Lily a well-deserved gratuity commensurate with her service. My neck and back felt so much better after the massage. This place is not bad. I had 90 min full body massage here. Massage itself was amazing. Inside is very clean, calm, and relaxing. Girl who did massage was very nice and skilled. I think $65 for this quality is a fair price in Irvine. However, I have to mention this one lady at the front desk. She said they only take cash, and I wasn't aware. Maybe there was a sign, maybe there wasn't, but I don't remember seeing the sign. Well I told her if they only take cash, I can leave my driver license here and go get some cash for her because I didn't have any at the moment. She said it's fine and she will take my credit card for this time, and she warned me to bring cash from next time. She took my credit card and asked me how much I'm going to tip, so I told her the amount which was over 20%, but she told me to tip more and tried to swipe my card with the amount she's requesting without my consent. Seriously? I had to stop her and tell her that my tip is over 20% and she's not in the position to ask for more. She just said ok and swiped my card with the right amount. I don't usually keep my receipt but this time I had to request her to get me one to make sure. Massage was great, but I probably won't come back to this place. I normally drive out to Garden Grove since its cheaper however the price was only a little more than i normally pay and i didn't have to deal with 405 traffic. If the price was any higher I would've probably just drove to Garden Grove. I had a massage with Mary and she was very good. I like a massage with med to firm pressure and she was very attentive to making sure everything was good as was the staff in front (Julie). So I went to this place yesterday and the owners of the place (a male and a female) pissed me off so bad. I called an hour ahead before I drove over and I was positive that the female owner said $55 over the phone for an hour and half which I thought was fairly cheap. However, when I was about to pay, the male owner told me that it was a lot more instead (cannot remember the exact price, I think I paid around $85 for the service). While I was insisting that the female owner told me earlier how much it was, he even interrupted me a couple of times before I was trying to finish my words. Even worse which got me pissed off is: I had a very strong feeling that both were holding a HOSTILE attitude towards or look down Asians even though themselves are Asians. the male owner even didn't look at me when I was talking to him, not to mention courteous words such as "thank you" and "have a good day" etc. The way they treated me just made me feel like I was a freak or something. The massage was okay, cannot really say "five-star" as it branded itself. The room was small and they don't even have a door which means people can literally see inside and the massage oil they were using was basic after all. All those irritating factors make itself a "one-star". I guess how they make money is just say a price when you walk in and charge a way higher price when you pay. Good idea. read more

The facility is clean and they have the best beds out of any other reflexology spas I've been too. Even the towels they used on my feet felt soft and new. Definitely worth paying an extra $15 compared to other reflexology spa in the Garden Grove area. So glad I found this gem close to home. Outstanding deep tissue massage. This was reminiscent of a massage I had from a chiropractor in Beijing. Their hands are like precision machines that know how to target the trigger points. Rather than Simply digging their fingers or elbows into the tissue repetitively they know how to create a lymphatic flow and a rotation between muscles in the Same area of the body. Well the girl who started to work on me was very sick and keep blowing her nose and sneezing on me and I said nothing but when she started to deep massage on my surgery area I asked nicely please don't massage there or do it very little I have alot of metal and it hurt she continued I asked 10 more time on the 15th time she just put an elbow with her whole weight I screamed from pain and jumped on the table. She tried to lay me back down but at this point I didn't want to end up in hospital with back spasm. Anywho I would never ever ever return here . And I don't recommend this place at all. I really liked this massage place the first time I went (good customer service, clean, great prices) but this second time, my masseuse was horrible. Before I sat down, they asked me what kind of pressure I liked so I said medium. However, when the massage started I asked her to make it softer as it was hurting a bit. She listened but quickly went back to the original pressure. I asked her twice to change the pressure. It's been three days and my heels are in incredible pain from the damage she caused. I advice you to spend the extra money but got to a place where masseuses are really qualified and know what they're doing. They should at least listen to what the customer is asking for and do it that way. I'd love to be able to give this place 5 stars because of everything else, but being that a good massage is what you go there for...
