ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. i walked into the store and the clerk was smoking a fat blunt BEHIND THE…read moreCOUNTER. i pushed past this and continued to find what i needed and get out asap. i walked towards the candy isle as my son was wanting a snickers bar. i came to find a USED feminine product laying on the snickers section. obviously, i told my son no snickers and this resulted in a tantrum. the clerk from before yelled across the store yelling, "make your kid shut the f*ck up or get out". at this point i had enough and grabbed my son to leave, on the way out the clerk said again "sorry about the mess, i don't feel like cleaning" and to this i say, "this place is disgusting, clean up your tampons sir" which admittedly was quite rude of me, and he responded, "fuck off bitch, i hope your son catches a cold" i left the store and don't intend to ever go back.

This not a usual store for me, but I needed something quickly and it was the closest. If I could…read moregive zero stars I would. The cashier was rude and talked very ugly to the man in front of because he wasn't moving gat enough for her. The manager stood by idly and did nothing. The cashier likely spoke of how she was not coming to a surf meeting on her off day and they needed to change the meeting. This was the most unprofessional establishment that I've been in. The was a guy that set off the alarms ar the door. When he returned thi have his bag checked, the rude cashier yelled at him to leave. I was being harassed by a homeless guy that followed me around the store, I felt uneasy and unsafe. I don't ever plan to return to this store.

I know they have made some changes since it first opened, but it did feel sort of less cluttered. I say that because while the aisles felt wider, the produce less crammed, and a back corner reconfigured, I still have never mastered the art of shopping Trader Joe's. The placement of items seems so random to me, and unituitive. Why are there peanut butter cups and harissa above frozen vegetables? Why are cookies over nearly everything frozen from dinner entrees to breakfasts? It can be a little frustrating for 'compartmental shoppers.' If you want fresh flowers, make sure you go early in the day for the best selection. And if you're going for flowers near the end of the week, be also forewarned that a number of church flower guilds use TJ to create and/or supplement their weekly arrangements because TJ gets some unique flowers in smaller bunches at decent prices.

I've learned to love and appreciate the crowds of people picking their selections to make floral arrangements as I'm entering the doors. The other day people had baskets full and looked like they were having the time of their lives. I, however, had the time of my life browsing the aisles for some of my regular items and new exciting items to give a try.

Ok Publix. I don't love the layout here. And the beer and wine is on an odd aisle in the middle of the store, right next to the frozen pizzas? No. And why is the peanut butter and jelly with the eggs right by the pharmacy? None of it makes sense to me. My main gripe is that I came on Sushi Wednesday around 6pm, hoping for an easy, cheap dinner. I located the sushi and picked out what looked good to me, only to find out at the register that what I selected was not included in the $5 promo. Apparently they had sold out and all the $5 options were gone. I didn't realize this, as nothing was marked with the discount, so I just assumed all that was left was included. Btw, what was left was all california rolls, not even anything with salmon/tuna. Just a general gripe about grocery stores nowadays: I do not want to do self check out. Hire the right amount of people to work at your store. Have enough lanes open. Not everything in the world should be so that you cannot speak to somebody else.
