Best service at a Publix pharmacy is here. Sweet techs and they will complete transfers for you if other places are out. They also help you with directions. Last night I didn't know my way around Pelham and the young lady gave me step by step directions because even my gps tried to take me through the river and through the woods. So this is a rare review of Publix for me as I believe that they are far and above the best Alabama grocery store. However my experience today did not resonate that. And really more speaking about two employees more than the store overall. When you go to the pharmacy, usually it's not the best thing in the world either you're in pain or something along those lines I get I may not have been answering the question to the best of my ability but to kind of get frustrated with me was kind of out of line.. but I will say Ethan makes up for it by always being exceptionally nice and pleasurable when I've had to speak with him. The other employee just really did not seem to know how to operate the customer service desk or answer questions that was being asked, which is very unusual as I feel that Publix has some of the best customer service, but unfortunately that was not today. Adding to that I feel like the bathrooms were really not up to public standard standards of cleanliness. The pictures is kind of don't do justice as it would not be someplace. Super friendly and helpful staff! I came here to do my grocery shopping since I was in the area. It just made sense. This location is nice and neat. I was able to get most of what I was looking for. I like that Publix is a consistent brand across the board. I always know what I'm getting into when I visit. It was kind of crowded when I visited but I was able to get in and out with no issues. read more

I absolutely love Publix, and this location displays the excellence I've come to expect from this chain. The store is always impeccably clean and the shelves are neat and organized. The employees are friendly, courteous, helpful, and seem to genuinely enjoy working there. The wine and beer selection is excellent and we are always finding something new to try. They have an in store sushi chef and they offer a great selection of fresh sushi. The deli serves a great selection of hot and cold dishes. Their meats are always fresh and reasonably priced for the quality! This is definitely one of my favorite grocery stores in the area! read more

I have lived in Pelham for almost 13 years and this Publix has always been my go to since it's the closest to my house. The Alabaster Walmart is also close to my house but I'd rather drive the extra miles to go to this particular Publix. I feel such a home with these people I have seen the same managers cashiers the deli counter helpers people who make my sandwiches people I get my deli meats and cheese from. They have seen my kids since they were babies in car seats till now they're almost 12 and 13 years old. I always get us a great sense of family they always take care of you. The customer service is amazing. The pharmacist are super helpful with any questions you may have about medicine they always make great suggestions. Just really feel a sense of family. I appreciate all the workers who work so hard created a friendship going to this Publix is not just going and buying milk and eggs or cheese. I almost frequently have conversations with my cash register person who knows in my family who knows my kids who knows my day-to-day basis where I work how was my day? They're really great people. read more

Publix has everything that you could look for in a grocery store. If you do not want to cook, take a rotisserie chicken home. Also, the fried chicken is the best that you will find anywhere around. read more

The best grocery store chain! The employees are so friendly and helpful; they actually look like they enjoy their job unlike the employees of walmart, kroger, etc. And the produce, deli meats& cheeses, seafood, and breads are above the competitors. Plus they carry lots of organic and healthfood that other chains do not. Though some of the prices are much higher on basic items like eggs, ketchup and so on- the value of the shopping experience and time saved is worth the couple more dollars I may pay. One of the most noticeable things to me is that Publix never let's lines back up...so checkout is always fast! I love all my neighborhood Publix! Try their boarhead deli meat & cheese, publix brand green tea, and their fresh baked whole wheat bread. read more

This is the first time I find myself complaining about a Publix deli. The chicken fingers were overcooked, dry, and old. The black eyed peas were hard and tasted like plastic. The Gouda macaroni and cheese tasted fine, but the portions were half the size of what you get at other Publix locations. I'm thoroughly disappointed and won't be stopping at this location for a quick lunch again. read more

Every Publix have the same standards, however I find this one particularly lacking in customer service. The cashiers here are unfriendly. At least at other Publix location they fake it, but like the customer service at this particular location is genuinely terrible. In terms of the actual store, it's standard set up so you can't really complain, but for a company that emphasize so much on customer service and friendliness, this particular location is not up to par. This Public will go over and beyond your expectations! I had a busted bag of rice at the register and the staff went over and beyond to get me a new bag along with my special needs brother's favorite marshmallows! Love Publix but this location is terrible. Their deli staffing for 530 on a weeknight Was pathetic. I finally just put back the things that I had in my cart and left the store without purchasing anything. Thank God this is not the Publix I normally shop at. read more

This is by far my favorite Publix location that is near me. They seem to have an extremely low turn over rate because I see the same people pretty much every time I go there. The workers there, in all departments, are so attentive and go out of their way to help. They are always smiling and friendly. I would recommend this to location, above any, to those near. read more
