AMAZING!!!! We love eating here as a family. Not only is it cost effective and delicious, but they have the friendliest staff. And what made my heart really happy was seeing that they hired a disabled young man to work there. Honestly, he was the hardest working person I have seen in a loooong time! He was friendly, not too chatty (I don't like that as in eating), and man he bussed tables like nobody's business and made sure the restaurant was stocked and clean. He seriously deserves a raise!!! We came here because Baja Jacks was closed. 8.69$ for a 1/4 bacon cheeseburger! That's ridiculous! I don't care how good it is, no bigger is worth that! 27.86 for 2 burgers, 1 fry, and 2 drinks! The Berger was ok, nothing special in Tulsa, real meat, fresh toppings, bun mediocre. Fries were limp and soggy. Tasted like they were fried in old oil that was not near hot enough. One lazy Sunday afternoon, I wanted a burger, so hubby and I decided to finally try Five Guys. It's pretty popular, so logically it's probably good, right? I was underwhelmed. The taste of the burger was just okay. Interestingly enough, my husband's burger was juicy...like drippy juicy, and mine was cooked until the meat was super dry. How can a cook be so inconsistent? The fries were good and the order was huge - more than a family of 4 could eat! The place was just dingy and dirty and there is no excuse for a dirty restaurant. The windows and the front door were filthy. The tables were not wiped off. Just kind of off-putting to sit down in a dirty restaurant. I felt like I needed a shower after I was done. For the cost (roughly $28-30) for the two of us, you can find WAY better burgers and fries in Tulsa. read more

I went here for the first time on Saturday. I had exceptional service. The food was fresh and hot. It's kind of expensive for a burger and fries. But, the portions are huge! I split a regular order of fries with someone. But, we could have easily split a small & still had fries to spare. I also wish I would have gotten the little burger as the regular is a double. Food tastes great, and love free peanuts, but we couldn't find a clean table during a slow time of day (2:30). The trash can was overflowing in the bathroom and it was dirty too. I've always heard to judge a clean kitchen by the cleanliness of the bathroom- so I worry about the food. We probably won't be back unless I read that things have changed via yelp. read more

So I'm going to start this off by saying that their customer service, thus far, has been exceptional. Everyone is always so nice. The food is never bad. Their shakes are a too runny for my liking but nothing 10 minutes in the freezer can't fix. This review is because Five Guys failed to get my order correctly not once but twice. On Thursday December 15th, I placed an order over the phone for myself and two co workers. One was a BLT and the other a little bacon cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce, tomato and pickle. Theirs were correct. Mine on the other hand was a little bacon cheeseburger with mayo, bbq sauce, extra cheese, grilled onions and grilled peppers. What I received was a burger with grilled onions, extra cheese and mayo. That's it. So being that I was now back at work and not able to leave, I called the location and talked to someone named Spencer. Told him the situation, he apologized and said they would make it correctly. I asked if I could come the next day since I was at work, he said of course. He didn't argue with me, or act like I'm making it all up. So like I said the customer service is great. Fast forward to Friday. I go in. Tell the man behind the counter that I talked to Spencer and that I can get a replacement burger. He took my order down, which I could see him putting it down correctly on the ticket. I forgot to say extra cheese but no big deal. A few minutes later I get my burger. The man even joked about not saying my name correctly. It is rather intense. Everything was great. Something told me to check the burger but I didn't. I actually wasn't even hungry, but I had Christmas shopping to do on that side of town. Well 4 hours later when I go to eat my burger I notice there is something missing after a few bites. The bacon. They got everything right except the bacon. How many times does it take to make me the correct burger?? I honestly don't want to call so I can be "that" customer. I don't want them to think I'm making this all up. I've worked in fast food before and I know the assumptions. I'm just irritated that not once but twice they failed. I'm not going to be dramatic, as most complaints are, and say that I'll never eat there again because I can tell you I will. Probably not that location for a very long time but I love the food and the customer service is still top notch. Fries and service are good, the burgers...eh, ok. Honestly to me Five Guys is more of a trumped up fast food burger than anything else. I go back and forth between categorizing it as such or more of an ole fashioned style place. So many better options for a burger around regardless. read more

I should probably give them another star because the rating is based more on my personal likes and dislikes rather than anything management could do. I would say that this place is following the franchise model, but I don't care for the model. Throwing peanuts on the floor just takes them to a lower level than I care to lunch at. The burger and fries were large orders but I still feel that they were over priced. The presentation of the fries causes you to basically keep them or at least half of them in the bag, otherwise they would be all over the table. Again, I just like a little more order and this experience didn't have it. Probably great for kids however it gets loud since there isn't any deadening material in the place. Maybe sit outside. I didn't care for the burger at all! The onions where big chunks and the meat was very thin and lacked flavor. The employees all friendly and kind, but I wished someone would notice the place had been littered of used napkins on the floor and tables and the fountain area was sprinkled with empty straw papers and spills by previous customers. I wanted to ask for a bleach towel so to sit at a table with my 9YO daughter while our order was prepared. I won't return! Not because of the messy customers who ate there before me that day; but, only for the lack of a desirable flavorful burger being an option to serve. read more

I might be the only person to think this, but I'm not the biggest fan of 5 guys. I actually don't like their French fries. They are very, very fresh though! They are pretty pricey so make sure you know that before you go. Every time I've been here, it hasn't been busy and I've still had to wait 15-20 min for the food. I think 5 guys is an acquired taste! I tried Five Guys Burgers for the first time on January 17, 2013. I was totally disappointed. The french fries were golden brown and delicious! Unfortunately their hamburger was lousy. The hamburger patty was bland and the bun was so dry/stale it kept crumbling apart as I tried to eat the hamburger. Also, the dining room floor was dirty with a lot of bread crumbs (probably from the dry buns) and other food, what a mess! Though while I was there eating an employee did come out and started sweeping up the mess. Great burgers and fries, friendly staff, clean. I don't go often because they are a little spendy for a walk-in burger place....so I consider it a treat. I wouldn't have noticed them but know they are popular out West so wanted to give them a try. My only complaint.....why do they not have fry sauce???? When these burger chains that are popular in the Pacific Northwest come into Tulsa, you would think they would introduce fry sauce. Just that one difference from all of the other burger joints would make me, and I think others, more likely to choose them. read more

Okay the burgers haven't changed in taste... The prices seemed a bit higher than before, which is making it difficult to keep 3 stars, especially when you prefer your burgers naked so you can taste the meat.... But there is one issue that is started to become an bigger problem than the food. They seem have some deal where they hire "special" people to bus the tables... Okay, I'm neutral on this I don't go to places because they hire the mentally handicapped nor do I avoid places that don't.... I do however like to be able to enjoy a meal without being bothered on a continual basis. On previous stops they seemed to have the same employee that would ask you maybe twice while you were there if everything was alright... which I found a bit odd since it is pretty much a self service place where you pick up your food at the same counter you ordered at and you get your own drinks and refills... So honestly I don't even know why anyone would be asking me if everything was alright more than once. But the last stop there they had a new guy bussing tables and unfortunately he proceeded to ask us over 5 times if everything was okay, apparently he had it into his head that each time he walked by our table he needed to ask... Well it was getting rather annoying like when you take your kids on a trip and they just continually ask, "are we there yet".... I would hope the manager of the place would explain that they don't need to ask people over and over and over and over if everything is all right, people would like to be able to eat the food in peace. read more

Went to Five Guys as read on MSN beat out In and Out and I love In and Out!Burger was decent, fries were good but neither is even close to an In and Out burger and fries. Price was far to high for the quality of food as well as dining experience. This one was slow and place was very messy. Not impressed, would not recommend nor will I go back. read more
