We let the host know right away that we were only ordering desserts and asked for a menu, which was provided. From there, things went downhill fast. We waited 15-20 minutes just to be acknowledged and have our order taken, despite multiple staff members passing by. After finally ordering, we waited another 15-20 minutes for our desserts to arrive. When they did, my dad's lemon cake à la mode came out without the ice cream. We tried to be patient and waited for our server to return, but had to flag down another staff member. While she said she would fix it, what happened next was honestly shocking--she came back and dropped off a small plastic to-go container of soft-serve ice cream on the table. We were dining in. This was not only inappropriate presentation, it felt dismissive and careless. When we brought it up, our server argued with us, insisting it was the same ice cream and that they "freeze it to scoop it." Regardless, that's not what was served, and more importantly--arguing with customers is never acceptable. To make matters worse, we could hear the server speaking negatively about our table within earshot. That alone is completely unprofessional. When the manager came over, instead of resolving the issue, she also became argumentative and dismissive, before eventually offering to comp the meal. While that gesture was appreciated, it does not make up for the overall experience. This wasn't just about ice cream--it was about poor service, lack of accountability, and unprofessional behavior from both staff and management. We understand restaurants get busy. We are patient people. But this was beyond that. I would not recommend this location based on how we were treated.
