When I went in, there were only a few customers, all already seated and eating. There were three employees--one cooking and two cleaning. The young man cleaning the lobby took my order quickly and went right back to cleaning. The other person cleaning didn't assist with the order at all. I ordered a patty melt (the grilled cheese cheeseburger) and a milkshake. The young lady cooking stopped everything she was doing to make my burger, and I had it within three minutes. The milkshake, however, took 30 minutes. They were cleaning with chemicals at the same time they were cooking, and the young lady who was told to make my milkshake kept saying "yes" but never actually made it. The young man cleaning went to the back to clean something else, so I just waited. While waiting, I decided to eat my burger. The first few bites were fine, but later it started to taste like the chemicals they were using to clean. I finally got my milkshake--a one-minute item--after half an hour, as I was already walking back to my hotel across the street. Not only was the wait extremely long, but the food tasted off and potentially contaminated. You should never clean the same surfaces you're cooking on--or even the ones right next to it--especially with strong chemicals. There's no telling what was used, and I've had a cough ever since eating there. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this location at all. This did not feel up to health-code standards, and I will not be returning. read more

For a Five Guys this is as good as it gets, great location at route 6/I-195 plenty of parking. The dining area is clean with an open concept with plenty of tables. Every table in the dining area was clean Ordered grilled cheese and fries. Fries served hot and crispy and like other locations, plenty of fries in the bag. Grilled cheese consisted of a burger roll upside done, good amount of cheese and prepared perfectly. Plenty of free peanuts and ketchup and malt vinegar for the fries. read more

I'm always a bit worried about restaurants that get hyped up for me. I've heard so many rave reviews about Five Guys Burgers, just as I did for Umami Burger before deciding it was just alright. I knew it was pretty much fast food burgers made with good ingredients. I also knew that the servings of fries were crazy huge. Both of these are good things :) Recently I finally got to try it out for myself. I'm really grateful that my friend warned me that the regular burgers have double patties, and that if I wanted a single patty I would need to get a "little" burger. I wish this was more clear on the menu actually. I ordered a little cheeseburger with the works and we split an order of Cajun fries. I liked that while waiting for our order we could snack on peanuts. That's a cool little perk. Okay, here are my thoughts on the food. I thought my burger in general was pretty good. The patty was juicy and the bun was... alright... for a fast food style burger. That was fine for me. I had grilled onions and mushrooms on the burger, but none of them were seasoned at all. I kinda wish the mushrooms at least had been seasoned when they were cooked. It really didn't add anything to the burger that I had expected it would. I DO appreciate that all of the toppings are free and you can top it with anything on the list! Perhaps next time I'd go with something more simple and skip out on the mushrooms and stuff since they aren't seasoned. Overall, the burger satisfied my craving and it was just the right size. The Cajun fries were awesome. I have been told the plain fries are so incredibly bland in comparison, and in the future I would ONLY get Cajun fries because they really had so much great flavor and spice (especially next to my burger which had unseasoned toppings, haha). At the end of the day, I could see myself hitting up Five Guys for a burger craving, but it definitely won't top my list of all time favorites. It is, however, lightyears better than any of the other local fast food offerings. I have been coming here since they opened. Maybe 3 or 4 times a year. They have the best French fries anywhere. Hand cut and fried in peanut oil. Their burgers are also fried, and the price includes every topping you can imagine. I find them both dry and greasy at the same time, and I do not like the doughy rolls. The fries are also Uber greasy. You get a soda cup with fries, with a little "topper" or a few more tossed loosely in a brown paper bag. My first visit, I got a hamburger and a small French fry. I finished, and could do nothing except hold my stomach with both hands and 'mooo.' A hamburger is two patties. A little hamburger is one, and a small fry is more than a large anywhere else. They give you more but you pay more for it. I have to watch my calories, and a small burger and half a small fries and I'm over my limit. Anyway, decent burger, lousy, doughy bun, many toppings, best fries, pricey. Also, they provide free peanuts while you wait and blast pop music if you choose to dine in. Tuesday evening around 7:00, it was quiet. Service was good. Got the small burger which was average at best. Roll was too thick and very bready - pulled most of it off as it had no redeeming features and did nothing for the burger. The fried onions were barely fried and the cheese was not melted. The sliced tomatoes were not very ripe but it is March. I did not order the fried mushrooms on it as the last two times I remember not liking them as they seemed more like canned mushrooms. First impression - I thought Five Guys was fast food. If so, why is it priced like a casual restaurant? The regular sized cheeseburger is $10 and doesn't include fries or a drink. The burger itself was relatively filling and tasty. The fact that you can choose exactly which toppings you want is really nice. We asked for one order of regular fries and an order of cajun fries... ended up with two orders of regular fries. The fries were pretty mediocre; not fluffy, crispy, or salty at all. They were really just unseasoned fried potato slivers. This particular location has ample parking as well as seating inside. the restaurant is clean and spacious and the staff were polite, professional, and fast. The portions of the meals I ordered were quite generous and very fairly priced. two meals for $20.00 is hard to beat on Route 6. Disappointed with their burgers and fries. Usually, I like to go to Five Guys for their juicy and well done burgers paired with their fresh soft crunchy French fries. Not this time. The fries were overly done. It was dry and got an after taste. The meat on the burgers were burn and dry. There were 5 people behind the counter, so staff shortage is out of the question. What I noticed is that the staff will let the timer on the fries go off but ignore it. The burgers- , the cook was chatty and really care less if it is over done. The staff do not care on quality . The burgers themselves are full of flavor, piled high, and quite filling. You can also opt for extra portions on the toppings, making it easy to accidentally build your burger to skyscraper proportions. I went the traditional route and ordered a burger with ketchup, lettuce, extra cheese, and extra pickles. Boy, was it delicious! The french fries are equally as tasty but be forewarned. If you're looking for awesome french fries come here. As for the burgers.. They're just ok. I'm all about a bangin burger however this is not the place to get one. It's nothing fancy and nothing I couldn't make at home. I would forgo the wait and go to McDonald's instead and get a new Angus Burger. At least that way the burgers are a little bit more inventive and you won't have to wait nearly as long. The french fries however are very good. They are hand cut from fresh potatoes and the taste shows. Plus you can get them plain or Cajun style. I seriously was always like, "what's the big deal?" about this place. I never cared. And then...I came with my girlfriend. And now...now I understand. There is nothing more that I love than to be able to pick my own toppings and build my own burger. I've gone about a handful of times and have never been disappointed. It's so delicious. As a FYI, the regular is actually a double cheeseburger. The little cheeseburger is actually what would be considered a regular burger. And I always load mine with the works. Yum. I never get the fries, but they're a hit with my girlfriend. She also loves that they offer peanuts while you wait. We don't like making a mess of it though and we don't. I've never had the hotdogs, but as I have been totally craving them, I'm thinking I might try them next. If I were a vegetarian, I'd never go here. I will admit that it's slightly expensive, so no thanks to that. And of course not the cleanest place, but that's all a part of the atmosphere. I'm a die hard fan of Five Guys! I frequent this location since I do other shopping in the area. It's clean but it's always busy and they sadly don't have the cool soda machine like the Lincoln location. It's Sunday night and my #is 93..they are serving 82! Thankfully it's worth the wait! Toppings are free, although I like mine pretty simple. Soda is free refills. Free peanuts as well. This place would be a nightmare on earth for someone with peanut allergies though. But I Love the fries cooked in peanut oil and am happy I'm not allergic!!! A little cheeseburger is 1 patty and a cheeseburger is 2 patties. Large portion of fries even with the little fry option. They also offer grilled cheese and hot dogs and I've had a hot dog here and it's also pretty damn good I must say! I generally like Five Guys. I haven't been to one in a very long time however. I ordered online and requested a lettuce wrapped burgers, which was an option available. I also ordered an extra patty, not knowing that their regular cheeseburger already comes with two patties. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see that description on the website. When I showed up, I had to wait about five minutes for the fries to be done. Even though I appreciated them being fresh, they weren't very crispy and were kind of limp/soggy despite being extremely hot. Also, they said that they couldn't do a lettuce wrapped burger and instead had put it in a container full of lettuce for me. Which would have been fine, except that most of the cheese came off on the lid of the container, plus they didn't give me any utensils to eat it with. I was able to find a plastic knife in my car, but you can imagine how easy it was to eat with my hand and a plastic knife. A fun adventure, for sure! The food was very fresh and hot but the experience could have been better. I did appreciate the girl giving me a free bottle of water since I wasn't allowed to fill up my water bottle from the fountain, due to Covid, and I was super thirsty. It's time for a review update, because I've been back several times since opening day. Opening day was a crapshow. The food was overly greasy, the service sucked, and the people jampacked in line and waiting for their food were all miserable. Nowadays, it's an average, mildly busy Five Guys. I decided to give this location a second chance after trying some of their burgers at another location and not being as appauled by the grease parade. These days, I stick to the Little Bacon Cheeseburger w/ grilled onions, ketchup and mustard. It's the size of a good-sized hamburger. Plenty. On occasion, I'll accidentally forget to preface my Bacon Cheeseburger with "Little" end end up with the regular. The regular-sized burger is actually a double, with two patties and double everything else. It's a monster. I tend to skip the fries here because they give me a belly ache. I'm no stranger to grease, but I just can't feel good after leaving here if I even have a couple of their fries. I personally had very bad service specifically with this location. My order was denied because they were closing at 10 and it was 8:59. I had a girl pickup the phone and put m won hold for 8 minutes just to hang up. Afterwards I had the three other people in my car call at different times and they were all dodged. Once I got on call a second time they said I had to be on hold and 7 minutes later hung up. Try any other five guys and feel the passion these workers seem to lack. Probably the best burger place in the area. Coming from a Californian who regularly eats In-N-Out and The Habit, a 5 star rating says a lot. The price is a little more than In N Out and a little less than Shake Shack, but you get a lot more for what you pay at both of those places. First and foremost, you better bring your apatite coming here because Five Guys don't mess around with their portions. This place has never failed to fill me up no matter how hungry I have been. I remember before I went to Five Guys, I didn't know what a quality burger was. I guess you could say yea boi Roger Mcdouble was being a fool not going here sooner, but I'm glad I did, and it changed my life. The menu is straight foward and simple, little cheese burgers and bacon burgers are single burgers, while just cheese burgers and bacon burgers are double burgers. They be being extra generous on the menu though, with the option to add as many toppings from there list for free on your burger. Now we get into the fries with 3 choices of size; little, regular and large. Let me be the first to tell you not to be fooled by the names here, just because it says little does not mean your getting a small fry from McDonald's. Your bag wil be over filled with fries on top of the fries that come in the cup. I would suggest to order the regular sized fries if you go with someone there, plenty of fries to split between the both of yea. Now i know what your thinking, they only got burgers and fries or that's all their good for. NO WAY JOSE, they got some great grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, and even milkshakes. The milkshakes are off the chain, with plenty of flavors to choose from and even the savage option of adding bacon to the shake, you can't tell me you have heard of that option at your local Dairy Queen (No hate to DQ at all, they too legit). Did I mention they also have boxes of free peanuts, it's like the Texas Roadhouse waiting room has merged into the Five Guys already amazing atmosphere. After you have placed your order and contained yourself from the excitement that this menu and place brings, you can finally begin to enjoy your meal. Your meal is cooked fresh right infront of your very eyes, so you know your getting that A1, too legit to quit, fresh prince outta bel air quality food. Getting that brown bag of food off of the desk has never made me more satisfied to see a brown bag ever, except getting alcohol of course. You can feel the weight of the burger and see the grease of the freshly made burger on the bag, it gives it that nice touch. Unwrapping the tinfoil gets me more excited then a 5 year old back in 1996 opening up a Nintendo 64 on Christmas morning, truly an amazing feeling. Taking thay first bite of a Five Guys burger is like tasting how a 5 star restaurant burger would taste, so fresh and juicy. It brings you to your happy place, your taste buds go crazy with the overwhelming flavor train making a stop into the station. The sensation brings a smile to your face that never wants to leave. If you can even draw yourself away from your burger and eat some of the fries, your in for more of the same great taste. The fries are cooked to perfection, having that nice crisp to them and perfect pinch of salt. The whole meal is bound to want you getting more and more but you will be so filled up that you just can't do it, but anything is possible so you ought to just go for it and get another burger. In closing, Five Guys will always have a special spot in my heart for burger places, just like my girl will always have a spot in my heart that will never be occupied. There really is no other burger place in my opinion with the same speed, taste, and quality that Five Guys delivers every time. Overall, I am an AVID fan of Five Guys! I do not take to writing this review lightly, however this location falls below even my minimum expectations for places such as McD's and BK. 25mins from walking in the door to walking out without any food is unacceptable. Rule 1, the food should be fit to consume. Cooked bacon ready to eat stored in open wire bins on shelves at floor level is disgusting and any excuse claiming to the contrary shows lazy management unable to invest in a simple closed sided container for $4. Rule 2, orders should be completed correctly. 2 separate visits and they are unable to make the order without adding items not specified or failing to add obvious items like BACON. It's not an option it's a Bacon Cheeseburger. You can be a total pothead with no short term memory and do this job, you have the slips within 6 inches of the burgers you're dressing. Rule 3, the customer isn't always right but the customer is always the customer. In this case, yes I was right, but that's not the point. No apology, no concern, just "so you want this made over". Rule 4, this is a restaurant not a crematorium. You may cook things well done, but that does NOT mean, burnt, blackened, charred or carbonized. Rule 5, don't ever insult a "customer of size". I may be big, but to say "so you want this made over" and then follow up with, "you can eat these too" is beyond the realm of comprehension. If I'm bringing it back without even a bite missing, you assume I'll eat it anyways? Rule 6, tomfoolery is OK when you're working the line, even in public, so long as you turn out a product that is fit to eat. To do otherwise just makes your entire staff look like irresponsible a__hats, and management inept. Overall the chain is overpriced for the fare served however it's hard to find an alternative. Nestled in the Seekonk big box strip, it's perfectly situated to fuel grocery shopping and errand-going and have something to look forward to in the process. Love: *The simplicity. Never messed up an order, always pleasant and they seem to enjoy being there... really? *THE FRIES are the best - hot, handcut, crispy outside, soft inside. Saw some not-so-impressed reviews but I've never been let down. Split the fries with someone else - they're huge! *cheap Meh: *Pay attention to the add-ons, 5 Guys! Had too many horrid, barely pink, mealy tomato slices (don't even bother) and wilted pieces of lettuce. And easy on the mayo... *A junior burger (or whatever they call it - one patty) is plenty for me, but sadly the burger does not extend to the perimeter of the bun. That's too many burger-less bites. Depends: *The line always seems to move fast so I've got no complaints there, but sometimes it's hard to grab a table. Gotta have one person do the order while another pounces on a table. I stopped in here this past weekend after spending my paycheck at Target. I was not planning on coming here and was completely unprepared to order. I just figured I'd give it a shot since I have heard good things about them. The burgers looked expensive at first glance. I ordered a cheeseburger, a "little" cheese burger, small (regular) fries and a water which came to $15 and change. Ouch. What they don't tell you is that a cheeseburger is in a fact a ginormous double cheese burger. The "little" cheeseburger is a large single burger. Of course I ate both. The fries are a bit too much. They were delicious but next time I'd split them with 2-3 other people. Next time I think I'll enjoy it more since I'll know how to order. All the toppings on the burgers are free - mayo, ketchup, onions, shrooms, etc. I think the only other thing I saw on the menus were a few hot dogs. The staff was friendly and quick. My new favorite burger joint! Here, a Little Cheeseburger, is a burger served with one delicious meat patty. Their regular size burger come with two! I ordered my Little Cheeseburger "all the way" - hold the grilled mushrooms! All the Way comes with mayo, lettuce, pickles, (I have a Snooki-like obsession with pickles), tomatoes, and grilled onions. How much for these extra toppings? NADA! They're included in the price! Score! Granted, this place charges more than your convenient drive-thru Wendy's, but you cannot compare the flavor and freshness. How do they manage to cook these burgers so they're well done, but yet retain their juiciness?! DO NOT ORDER THE LARGE FRY! Order the regular size. Love five guys. Saw Dr Strange now next movie on our marathon is the Accountant! Decided to come here for our hour wait to grab some grub. We both opted for the hot dog today. Tip: You can order ahead online or through an app if you are taking it home. They don't cook the fries until you get there but it definitely speeds things up. I like to organize the Five Guys app next to my fitness apps in a category called "juxtaposition". More tips- a "little" burger is one patty, "regular" is two. I love Five Guys. I have diverted road trips by upwards of 20 miles just to find a Five Guys. However, I am quite picky about my Five Guys because I grew up eating at one of the originals. So I was skeptical about this whole franchise thing. However I have appreciated the small innovations I have seen with the franchise model such as different size fries and order ahead takeout. This Five Guys certainly does not disappoint, but doesn't overly wow, either. I think the service is great compared to other franchise locations I have been to, but the burger assembly is mediocre. The flavors are more or less the same, but I think they have missed on the exact cooking time for the French fries on more than one occasion. Should any of my nitpicky comments stop you from going there? Absolutely not. They produce a damn fine burger. Check it out. read more
