For a Five Guys this is as good as it gets, great location at route 6/I-195 plenty of parking. The dining area is clean with an open concept with plenty of tables. Every table in the dining area was clean Ordered grilled cheese and fries. Fries served hot and crispy and like other locations, plenty of fries in the bag. Grilled cheese consisted of a burger roll upside done, good amount of cheese and prepared perfectly. Plenty of free peanuts and ketchup and malt vinegar for the fries.

I'm always a bit worried about restaurants that get hyped up for me. I've heard so many rave reviews about Five Guys Burgers, just as I did for Umami Burger before deciding it was just alright. I knew it was pretty much fast food burgers made with good ingredients. I also knew that the servings of fries were crazy huge. Both of these are good things :) Recently I finally got to try it out for myself. I'm really grateful that my friend warned me that the regular burgers have double patties, and that if I wanted a single patty I would need to get a "little" burger. I wish this was more clear on the menu actually. I ordered a little cheeseburger with the works and we split an order of Cajun fries. I liked that while waiting for our order we could snack on peanuts. That's a cool little perk. Okay, here are my thoughts on the food. I thought my burger in general was pretty good. The patty was juicy and the bun was... alright... for a fast food style burger. That was fine for me. I had grilled onions and mushrooms on the burger, but none of them were seasoned at all. I kinda wish the mushrooms at least had been seasoned when they were cooked. It really didn't add anything to the burger that I had expected it would. I DO appreciate that all of the toppings are free and you can top it with anything on the list! Perhaps next time I'd go with something more simple and skip out on the mushrooms and stuff since they aren't seasoned. Overall, the burger satisfied my craving and it was just the right size. The Cajun fries were awesome. I have been told the plain fries are so incredibly bland in comparison, and in the future I would ONLY get Cajun fries because they really had so much great flavor and spice (especially next to my burger which had unseasoned toppings, haha). At the end of the day, I could see myself hitting up Five Guys for a burger craving, but it definitely won't top my list of all time favorites. It is, however, lightyears better than any of the other local fast food offerings. If there was an In-N-Out nearby (I WISH), it would be no contest, but until then, it's a pretty solid choice for a burger craving.

While I can't say I've absolutely loved all of the seasonal specials that come out of the kitchen, they hit the mark enough times to keep me coming back to try the new ones. Servers are friendly, capable, and food comes out quick. I've probably been 30+ times and never am disappointed.

We both ordered the Classic Smash Burger, one with cheese and one without. Unfortunately, both burgers were utterly tasteless, with virtually no seasoning detected at all. The Chomp Sauce that was supposed to elevate the burger was so sparse it barely made an appearance, leaving the burgers bland. Honestly, the bun was the best part. The brussel sprouts I ordered also lacked flavor and seasoning aside from the char, and his Cajun fries were so salty they were nearly inedible. After driving from Massachusetts to Rhode Island as a special Mother's Day treat, it ended up being a very disappointing experience, especially given the overwhelmingly positive reviews. We may have caught them on an unusually busy night, but unfortunately our meals fell far short of our expectations.

We kicked things off with a Cosmopolitan in honor of our guncles Mike & Bob before diving into an amazing meal. Hubby's must-have is always the Portuguese clams. It is the perfect amount of clams, chorizo & beans in a deliciously spicy sauce. I can never resist the chicken tenders tossed in Mozambique sauce. We also shared the sausage, rabe & beans pasta, which was hearty & comforting. The portions here are incredibly generous - we left with enough food for two people to enjoy two full meals! Even better, appetizers are now half-priced from 3-6 pm, making happy hour an even sweeter deal. And if you visit on a Wednesday or Thursday, be sure to say hello to the wonderful Celeste. She is lovely & always makes us feel welcome. Fantastic food, generous portions & warm hospitality... it is no wonder we keep coming back! Highly recommend. NOM NOM NOM #YUM

We were the only customers when we dined there for lunch at noon on a Wednesday. I guess it's more of a dinner place. Both my dining companion & I ordered Chicken Francaise ($22.95) on pasta, which was good but not exceptional. The serving was generous enough to bring home leftovers. It would have been nice to have been offered a bread basket, but that seems to be going the way of the dinosaur in restaurants. Our server was fine. The restaurant, while basic, was clean. The entire menu is available during opening hours. I thought the prices were a bit high for a tavern. Perhaps smaller lunch portions of the entrees for a reduced fare? I did consider the Portuguese steak sandwich, but at $18.95 thought it too expensive. I have friends who absolutely LOVE this restaurant, but I was underwhelmed. I'd consider giving it another chance during the dinner service.

We got the family meal deal which comes with 4 fully customizable roast beef sandwiches and 2 large fries or onion rings (onion rings have a $2 up charge) for 29.99 which for the size of the sandwiches and fries it is definitely worth it. We also got two sides of pickles, and a bottle of their BBQ sauce to try. The pickles are your average deli style pickle slices. The BBQ sauce is the best mix of sweet and tangy, with a little bit of spice. Everything even after a half hour drive was hot and fresh tasting. We will definitely be back for more!

We were absolutely blown away by the quality and taste of all of their dishes -- everything was packed with authentic, bold flavors that had us savoring every bite. Otherwise it's free, on-street parking in the surrounding neighborhood or main road. The 'pull' door (not automatic) is at ground level and once in the vestibule, there is a ramp up into the restaurant and steps up into the bar area. We sat at a high top in the bar area. Two dining rooms have wooden tables and chairs, mostly in a four-top size. The bar area has a high, vaulted ceiling and the two ceiling fans are a large baseball in a glove. Cute. Walls are real wood paneled on the bottom 2/3 and painted cream at the top 1/3 with dark wood floors. Everything looked nice and clean and cozy. High-tops in the bar area each had bag hooks under the table top which I love. Our waitress was the bartender. The bar was about half full and there were maybe two other tables in the restaurant. She brought over place mats, flatware and menu's and took our drink order. The menu is large and includes sandwiches, burgers, steaks, apps, soups and salads, plus. It's pretty big. We had a good amount of time to review all the menu options, plus the 'specials' menu she left with us. We both chose steak based entrées. A table top sign lists some seasonal adult beverages available and the menu includes other bar selections. Food was brought out by a kitchen employee. I think it may have been the cook/chef. It took a while for the food to come out of the kitchen and I suspect it's bare bones staff during the week. They were very friendly and asked if we needed anything else. The waitress also stopped by after several minutes to check in with us. The steak was tender however those knives need to be replaced. Because it was hard to cut, I thought the steak would be 'tough', but it was very nice. The fries are excellent. I did enjoy those. Mashed potatoes appear to be 'real' (not reconstituted flakes). My steak was a bit undercooked but I only ate about half. I concentrated on cutting the outer bits which left the center a perfect temp for reheating at home. It heated up quite well and was still tender. So in the end, it worked in my favor. Although I'm not sure how they fry the egg on top of the Portuguese steak, it was fluffy and had a nice soft yolk. (I could have sent the steak back to be re-fired if I was unhappy, but knew I'd probably not eat it all, so again, it worked in my favor) Gendered restrooms are off the bar area. Ladies has two small stalls with no gaps at the edges. Thumbs up for that. Men's room has a stall and a urinal (I asked, didn't look). Not sure about another comment on here regarding 'no lock' on the men's room. The stall has a lock. If you need privacy, use that. Each restroom is too small for a changing table. I asked about the parking situation as the lot is not big enough to accommodate all the tables and after talking about on-street parking options was told on the weekends (Friday - Sunday) it's a full house. So do plan some time to find parking. I'm not sure they take reservations though and the vestibule has only one seat that I noticed for waiting. Food quality is good. Service is friendly. Full bar. Big menu. Clean restrooms. Only the parking situation is possibly problematic and that's really a state of mind. Desfrute da sua refeição!

We had the nachos with BBQ pulled bork, and lemon pepper dry rub wings. The rating for these are solid 4, not like the 3s some folks left. The only thing that prevents them from attaining 5 is the attention to details and care that it takes to make them true 5 stars. But again, this a a bar and lounge. I think it would not matter much if come here later in the evening, after you have been to dinner elsewhere, and want to hang out with your friends with late night snack and drinks. I thought the service was friendly but a bit relaxed, but again, if you come here to chill, being the "relaxed" atmosphere will not upset you.
