Ordered online 25 minutes ahead of time, got there and told them my name, was told they're still working on it. Sat around waiting for another 20 minutes before they realized my order was sitting on a shelf. Tried to give it to me anyway. Asked for a refund, and they refunded me $5 less than I paid. This is one location that usually can't miss. Food is always great. However we couldn't help but be disappointed because we ordered three burgers and all three were made so incorrectly it's as if we got someone else's order, all the toppings were mixed up between three burgers that only had a few toppings each and they somehow forgot the cheese? Ok, so I had the worst day any human being and parent cold possibly have on any given Tuesday. I was starving after bearing the weight my adult choices in life have rendered my current existence. I decided to pull over to FIVE GUYS burger joint because they are the only burger joint in the area that was open. To my surprise as soon as I walked in, I was greeted with love and endearment by not just one, but all four of the employees working this evening. I have been to Five Guys a couple times now but the most recent was at this location with a party of 2 on a Friday, 07/8 before 6pm. This particular location has good service and during this visit there were lots of seating available. I love how there is a huge container filled with complimentary peanuts and it is self serve where you can fill a small disposable tray. The peanuts are quite flavorful. If your looking for a burger spot that is close to home made burgers, this is the place. I ordered a Little Hamburger w/ all toppings along with Little Fries. This was a good size but if you are really hungry, I suggest getting the Hamburger instead. The hamburger was not oily and the bun had a nice charred on it. The fries were not oily and had a lovely peanut oil taste and they give a great amount of it. We also got a Hamburger and another Little Fries. read more

You can choose your burger "All the Way" (mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, and mustard). On this visit I went lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions and mustard. I always go Little with my burger as the regular and its two patties is just too much. I love your food, never an issue. But every time I come, I see it getting dirtier and dirtier. And, in my opinion, your establishment is an easier food place to keep clean. Please deep clean your bathrooms and walls. Keep the floors clean and have schedule to keep everything clean (especially during these pandemic times). I love to eat outside, but your tables are so gross to sit at, dried up ketchup on the tables and chairs. And lastly, it is SO bothersome to want to eat outside at the tables facing Douglas blvd, but you can't because your employees are smoking right there. Very basic but very good. When I want a burger usually I want a BURGER.. preferably the best of the best.. and if I go basic I go in n out.. Five guys was very satisfying however if you are in the mood for a basic, tasty, semi-greasy, cheesy burger. The cajun fries impressed me more than the burger but I had to go next door to get some ranch.. which made my experience that much better. I have to change my rating on this place. I really hate to do this, but after the meal i had gotten a few days ago left me speechless!! Five guys in Roseville is one of my favorite burger joints, but the taste and flavor have gone downhill. A few days ago I ate at five guys, and the burger and fries were burnt, it had zero seasonings on the burger, and loads of seasonings on the fires, which I understand, because they were trying to cover the fact that the fries were super burnt. I'm not sure what happened to the five guys here in Roseville, but it has gone down a lot. For my burnt burger and fries with loads of hot seasonings, I paid almost 20$ for this burnt meal. Great burgers and love that I can add toppings to the burger to make it amazing. I love the French fries but this last time it was much more saltier then I would have liked. Meh is all I got here. The food is good, no doubt about that. But is the food around 13 dollars per person good? No. My trip here took over 35 minutes (line to getting order). I feel that's more of a management issue as I counted all of 3 employees, who were fast and friendly, during a lunch rush. The receipt comes with a "How are we doing survey", but if you try to complete it the store ID is not printed on the receipt and therefor you would have to call the store to get it. Overall if this place is trying to compete against In and Out they're competing like a Ferrari dealership competes with a Honda dealership. But instead of offering blatantly superior products they offer entry line BMW for top of the line prices. My no-frills burger preference fits in just fine here. I can have it my way, for reals. It's a simple menu. The regular burger is 2 patties, the "Little" burgers are single patty. Cook to your temp preference. It's have it your way ... all of the toppings are pick a few. There's the usual lettuce, pickles, tomato, onion plus options like A-1, bbq sauce, and even jalapeno. I've said it many times, I'm a simple burger guy. Hamburger (that's the one with 2 patties), lettuce, tomato, and grilled onion. No mayo, no mustard, no cheese, blah blah .. that's it. And, no, in my experience, these aren't dry burgers. You may think 'boring' but I eat a burger to taste burger. These are freshly made patties. The fries (steak like) are fantastic .. regular or Cajun style. A single order will (should) feed two of you. There are hot dogs and also a few sandwiches - vege, cheese (grilled or not), and a BLT. It can be a bit pricey (2 hamburgers, fries, and one shake came to $24) but are good burgers. They are cooked fresh so allow some time after you order. However, I am not a fan of the traffic flow in this parking lot. Don't be impatient like me. read more

Can't believe I haven't reviewed! I love this place. I've been a Five Guys fan since they came to the west coast in 2010. Their peanuts are amazing and I love the option to customize your burger. I do wish the chain would offer veggie patties/dogs. They have a veggie sandwich, but it only consists of strictly veggies and cheese. Get a little burger and little fries as the regular burger and fries are equivalent to a super size meal. For some reason, there is usually at least a 10-15 minute wait at 5 Guys and that's with minimal to no customers ahead. read more

Five Guys has been on my radar for a long time and I finally made it over to give them a try. The menu is pretty basic. Burgers come single (called "little" burgers) or, well, just "Burger", "Cheeseburger", "bacon burger" & "Bacon cheeseburger" (which are doubles). There are a lot of standard Toppings and if you get them all it's called "All the way". I ordered a Little Cheeseburger which is not that little (550 calories) & a regular order of fries  (enough for two). There is also a serve yourself Peanut box at the end of the counter to hold you over while waiting for your order. The Cheeseburger was okay. The Beef was juicy (no pink visible) and the toppings were generous. The cheese, on the other hand, was your average glossy processed American cheese so no extra points there. The fries were a generous helping. Thick-cut like steak fries but a little on the limp side. No crispy outer but the interiors were soft and tender. These are house cut (not fried from frozen) but could have benefited from a little more time in the fryer. The seasoning was a little heavy handed on the salt so having the cajun seasoning on the side and then adding to the over-salted fries made them excessively seasoned. If ordering cajun seasoning on the side I would recommend that you order the fries lightly salted. At ~$17 for two "Little Cheeseburgers", regular fries and one soda, I probably won't make a special trip out to dine here again. Nothing terribly bad...just average overall. read more

I've done online ordering a handful of times, the order has always been perfect.. and they're super prompt! They whip up the fries upon your arrival so they stay fresh and hot for transport. I super love the flavor of five guys burgers over other chains.. the burger buns aren't overly spongy, the produce is never filled with water, and the smaller burger is just the perfect size if you're also having fries and/or a shake. They have peanuts in the shell to snack on at the table. Just a heads up/warning for those with allergies, I know it's becoming common. I love having a reliable burger place, this is it. This corporate burger chain stole 31 dollars from me. I ordered online when i got there they had closed early. Manager that night was horrible and beyond rude. Couldn't get a refund from him. About a week later got a call from another manager promising a refund. It has been over a month since then and still no refund. This place is absolutely horrible. As a vegan, I usually don't choose burger places, as my options are basically limited to fries and soda. However, Five Guys has an extensive list of burger toppings for their fries. I ordered a large fry, plus all of their toppings (sans mayo) on the side, with no extra charge! I dumped all the toppings into my fries, mixed them up, and ate it with a fork! It had all the flavors and textures of a juicy, delicious burger. Satisfying and I didn't feel left out in my group. They also have good selections for vegetarians right on the menu: Veggie sandwich (bread and vegetables) and veggie sandwich with cheese. I didn't order it, because I didn't know the vegan-status of the bread and I really just wanted awesome fries. I also don't know if the veggies are grilled on the same top as the meat, for those of you who might be more particular about that. Staff very accommodating and friendly. This is my umpteenth visit to Five Guys, yet this is a much more impactful one than the others - in an awesome way. Over a month ago, we had less than a stellar visit here: They got our party's orders wrong - all of them. Of course, happenstance would be that we didn't find out until after we'd got home. I called and spoke with the shift lead at the time, Aaron. He was awesome. He owned their mistake and promised to make good. He took our info and promised next time we came in, we would be taken care of. Tonight we came in. Very clean and takes precautions to prevent the spread of COVID. The food is tasty but a little pricy as there's no combo meals so everything is individually priced. I recommend the peanut butter milkshake, sounds gross but trust me, it's delicious. The service was good but the staff is not welcoming. When you walk up to the counter, they just kind of stare at you like you've interrupted their conversation.
