Don't! Just don't! First off everything is sold separately, resulting in a hamburger combo that cost $13.06?!?!?! For that price I expected the burger to be mind blowing... And it was! Our order did not come out after 20 minutes so I went up and they forgot about the order. Mistakes happen so I just asked for an explanation, but got some lame excuse about fries not being ready. Well, they had four full baskets of fries ready so I wasn't buying it. At this point, I just wanted an apology and none came. I was a bit annoyed at this so I asked for the burgers to be remade. I usually don't start with the bad but I feel in this case I need to to show you how they redeemed themselves, came in on 2 /12/16 with a large order I under stand it can be confusing at times we were a party of 7 so it was a large order 1 they made 2 burgers wrong and 3 of the bacon cheese burgers were missing bacon and 1 cheese burger was missing cheese, at first I was annoyed because we couldn't find a seat and 2 employees sat and ate for over 30 min some guy with colored hair and a short woman with short hair and black rimmed glasses so it was strike 2 at this point but your employees in the back saved the day a tall African American male working fris gave me the bacon I needed and made sure they made me a fresh not little but double cheese burger on top of that he apologized and gave me another order of fris now this is service and this is what will bring me back here all the other employees were super helpful and showed they cared way to redeem yourselves and they also had tasty food. read more

So when we found out that we were getting it here in Palmdale we were over ecstatic. We are here for lunch and was disappointed at the difference in quality... Food was alright, kinda pricey but that's NOT my complaint. When I first walked in the lady asked how many patties I wanted (never being here before) I said one. I asked for a regular cheeseburger, she then got mad and said " I asked you how many patties, if you wanted that you should've said two". I was shocked cause again I had never been there before. She asked me how I wanted the burger and I simply asked what it comes with, she looked at me angrily and said "look above, those are your options". My only complain is the bad customer service. Decided to try Five Guys when I read it had bested In 'n Out. First the red and white decor too similar to In 'n Out. More importantly the burger was decent size and juicy. I appreciate you can choose your toppings from a large list- no special sauce though. Unfortunately the cheese isn't melted so it just lays on top of the burger and the sautéed mushrooms were cold. The fries were good and salty. Both the burger and fries were a little greasy but what do you expect at a burger joint? Go somewhere else if you want healthy. There was some chatter behind the counter but it wasn't over the top. The three stars are more for the price. 1 cheeseburger, small fries and small soda came to $12.47. So while they say toppings are free I suspect they aren't. read more

What a great place! The employees are always so friendly and helpful. As a Celiac, I have very few places that I can eat out. This place will make my burger protein style and make sure that no cross contamination occurs. Because the fryer is only used for fries, I can have them. The food is always fresh and tasty. I have been to three different Five Guys locations (Reno, Fontana and Palmdale). This friendly and upbeat service has been consistent. I've been to the Palmdale location twice (the most recent was on Sunday 8/7/16 around 2p) and each time, the food met the quality I expected. I don't agree that this is necessarily "fast food" but it's worth the little extra wait. The topping selections allow you to really customize your sandwich any way you choose. The portions are huge. Even the "little" burgers are large. The prices are NOT McDonald's (but again, you get what you pay for). We spent about $40 and fed a family of five. What puts this place over the top for me is the excellent customer service. The staff are friendly, outgoing and the manager was quick to give out kudos to all of them when I complimented their teamwork. It's a very pleasant experience. read more

Did not live up to the hype. For starters. The cashier was rushing to take the order. If she would make a tad bit effort on eye contact it would make a huge difference in taking orders. I know that I could add my own salt and pepper but the meat was very bland. The burger as a whole was very bland. And it was a double bacon cheese burger. I paid over 60$ for four burgers four fries and four drinks. Just to have two of my burgers made wrong. Sorry but in N out and the habbit and tommys are still better. By far!!!! I went one time for myself and had just a cheeseburger and it seemed alright price wise, but taking the whole family is a big no. I won't be back 40.00 for 3 burgers,fries and drinks is outrageous ! all because you want condiments which should be on it anyway. They don't even bring it to your table. They have the nerve to have a tip indicator on the receipt and my question is why do they think a tip is even deserved. A pretty darn good burger! A double cheeseburger with tomato and mushrooms for me and a single cheeseburger that showed up as a double with everything. Delicious! Only one regular cup of fries was plenty for the two of us and they reminded me of bigger In-&-Out fries. Quite good but could have used a bit longer in the oil...kind of limp. My wife had a chocolate shake and it was over the top good! Highly recommend the shakes. The down side was all the above cost $25 for what is basically a good hamburger restaurant. Tried it out a week ago and it became my favorite burger place in the av. The meat is thick and has a awesome flavor to it. The regular french fries are ok but you do get alot. Price is worth it, not like red robins where the burgers are not even that good. read more
