Wow, it's my first time seeing a Wienerschnitzel with indoor seating for their customers. The ones I been to so far had all been limited outdoor seating. The indoor seating was plentiful and they had those outdated booth seats-- kind of similar to In and Out but just need some new renovation though to give it some personality. Other than that, it was practically clean when I visited and staff was nice. They took our orders and bought out our food. Parking is also not difficult since it did not seem this spot is known for sitting in. We were the only customer indoors while we saw about 4-5 cars piled outside in the drive-thru line. read more

Why are they CLOSED at 10:30 PM? Google Maps says they were closing at 11PM, Google Search says the same thing. There was NO REASON to be rude when telling customers that you're closing EARLY. If it was cause of staff scheduling or too many staff "called out," then politely say so. If your manager doesn't know how to schedule staff for a hour past closing for clean up, then you need a new manager or your staff needs to understand that cause service stops at 11PM, clean up does not. read more

This one has the "BEST" Food...always hot !! I had a problem with the service last night. The food was awesome, but the service needed a little polish shall we say. I left a review on their website (Wienerschnitzel's) this morning and told them "feel free to call"...well the manager did (right-on, someone who gets it) This manager shows great concern, (the quality of his food speaks for that) and is looking for improvement (as "all" companies should be doing). If given the choice...you could punch me in the arm and call me scum (he didn't do that I am embellishing my experience)...as long as my food is "hot and tasty" (I expect a generous portions if you have a strong right cross). Stopped to grab a lunch at this Wienerschnitzel and waiting 20+ minutes to get to the window after ordering. There were three cars ahead of me and each car took a good 5-7 minutes to get there food. I ordered a two chili cheese combo and a corn dog. When I got to the window the girl said sorry for the wait and I asked what the problem was and she said they had a rush. The parking lot had maybe 8 cars and during our wait no new cars pulled in as far as I could see and looking inside while at the window it was not super busy in there. Not sure when the "rush" was. Anyway got home and the two chili cheese dogs had both mustard and onions on them as well as the chili cheese. I tried calling but no answer let it rigor a good 2 minutes. I asked for a cup for water and a male Employee with a headset and curly hair saw me get soda then yelled, "can somebody turn off the soda machine people are getting free soda!" Naturally, that upset me because he could've asked more discreetly... I then went back to offer to pay for the drink and he charged me 25 cents for the drink and that was that... I finished my drink and went back for a refill, to my surprise the soda machine was off! He came over to the front and was LOUDER and didn't even listen to what I had to say because he kept interrupting me, and if I can recall he said something like, "just this day you can have the soda..." (Like if I still did not pay for it!!!) Not very happy with the way this was handled on their part. 1st the a-hole that YELLED to turn off the machine could've been more discreet about it!!! 2nd why the hell is the supervisor there if she needs to call "her boss" over for a simple solution. Like, "ok sir you may have one more refill since we do not normally do this, my apologies on behalf of our new employee.." THAT would've sufficed! 3rd "the Boss" (who looked Japanese) was not interested in what I had to say and was very LOUD in my face... You know what we usually come here with the family the food is good and fresh never had a complaint about their food. However today is the first time I actually used their restroom and they do not provide you with toilet seat covers! I believe there is a state law about that! It felt like I was using a gas station that was outside and I had to borrow a key! Disgusting! I will never come to this location again! As a matter of fact the customer service was horrible and you OBVIOUSLY don't even attend this location because they do not give you a key to enter the restroom it is very well open it reminds you of a restroom you would use at a gas station out side! Typically I get some chili dogs and add mustard. I've gone a long way to see Target out and make it for Gamestop, both of which are fairly close to this hotdog restaurant in the mist of summer heat but complement numerous restaurants you can find in an urban desert like Lancaster. There's also offices for real estate nearby, so you can get an appraisal like my family is doing before stopping here for various kinds of hotdogs. In fact, I like putting ketchup on my chili dog as well as mustard and inquire for special fries. I'm speaking of the city's urban life as being sort of quiet with lots of nods in order to mention something about the restaurant's atmosphere, which is both inside and outside the restaurant if you consider the benches and chairs that are spread out in a relaxed place. It's true that mistakes happen at this establishment, but the care and authority that workers portray here aren't worn out to the point of rudeness on my part. Desserts are served in my desert. I'm confused about my experience unless I admit new details, although I'm not confused. The chili here is more like a stew than its competition from Original Tommy's or lots of the number of Primo Burgers you find in California. You see, I love going to Wienerschnitzel because of how often they serve unique fries as opposed to McDonald's who, unless you like eating the same fries over and over, aren't really serving you many recent dishes. Mustard can actually taste good with chili on fries even if you pull the corndog from the bag for your pet, which my dad can comment on since he pretty much owns two dogs to share hotdogs and corndogs with. Our dogs love the food and so do we. Of course, my dad looks down on the hotdog restaurant's desserts because of how he's so familiar with desserts at Denny's. I try to get him out of his shell, but, he can be notorious for casual behavior while sitting at a wooden bench for a few chili dogs on the go. The Drive-Thru at Wienerschnitzel can be amazing because plants around the pick-up window can kind of act as figures that lean on us for commotion. Sometimes I think plants talk, yet more than a few chili dogs can help me have room for some dessert later since chili acts as hot food for me to wish for something cold. And no, this isn't talk to say nothing. My family goes to the Drive-Thru at times and the lobby at times to keep our minds at bay for different spots so that we delight in more situations for a quick bite. Let's see, what can I do? Well, dad needs a lot of help when choosing desserts and asks me about their particularities. We often relax when I comment on a broken machine for ice cream and I confess my appetite for candy shakes and tall root beer floats which aid on taste. We recommend anything with Oreos and M&M's, so be sure to pick up a chili dog under the shade and dream. read more

I have always loved this place. 5 for 5 chili dogs can't go wrong. The mystery to me is they try to upsell you to an all beef dog at 1.49 more per dog. Makes me wonder what kind of meat this is. When I opened the sandwich wrapper there were only two Polish sausage haves, not the standard three and there were only about 10 shreds of Kraut on top of the sandwich. I'm still hungry. Just had a rough experience here. Ordered a small chocolate dipped cone. I should have known something was up when the drive thru worker offered extra napkins, as normally they offer none. I took the item and drove away. First, the cone looked awful. It was short and the chocolate didn't cover it all. But the biggest issue was by the time I got to the end of the parking lot, I looked down and saw ice cream all over. All over my car, my pants, my shirt, my tie, my hands, my everything. It couldn't have taken ten seconds for it to be a disaster. I reversed and found a trash can to throw it in. I went inside to wash my hands and made a complaint. Someone asked if I wanted to lodge a formal complaint, and I said yes. No offer for a refund was given. Now I'm at Macy's trying to find a sweater or coat to wear for my meeting in an hour. Took awhile longer than usual, no cars were before us, but got our food and parked under the big shade tree and ate. Maybe 15 minutes later we went inside to get ice cream cones. The only guy we could see had his iPhone headphones in one ear and his headset on the other. Maybe that's why he was distracted. Today he yelled at an employee in the dining room for over 5 minutes even going so far as saying how he can train you perfectly but can't teach common sense! There is no excuse for treating an employee that way especially in front of customers and by the owner of all people! ! And it's rude and disrespectful to the customers to behave that way.
