Ate there one night while on a bar hop down washington ave. Food was great and the girls working there were very nice and funny.

Thought I would try a kosher style hot dog and fries since I had a hamburger a couple years ago. The hot dog was pretty good and I rarely eat hot dogs. They cut the hot dog open and grill it on each side for a few minutes and you can choose several different items to put on it. Fries were good but expensive. Onions are important! It was worth the 10 minute wait but I was not in a hurry. Please keep it a little tidier and the cashier was very polite. read more

Really over rated. I am a fan of Cheeseburger Baby across the street but today I decided to see what the hype was about at 5 Guys. The place is clean, the service was quick but the burgers. We just got our Five Guys Burger and Fries in Orange County, California area. So in Miami we needed a late night snack. We stopped at Five Guys. I liked how you walk in and they have peanuts for you. I like the fact that you can totally order your burger with what ever you want. Especially for the people who like extra stuff on their burger. When we got our meal, the fries were huge I barely touched them because there was so many. But cheese burger I got was ok. not my style of burger but maybe yours. read more

I typically don't come to the beach due to traffic and lack of parking. Today was one of days that I had to drive out there for my job, I decided to have a burger for lunch. The service was prompt, the people were amiable and not to mention how lucky I was that it was not packed. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries with a drink. The cheeseburger was really delicious and the fries were really good as well. I don't eat burgers often, but this was yummy. Food was very good. It usually is. The service was ok. Cashier basically accused me of cutting in line. I didn't. Then while we were eating a couple came in off the street to use the rest room. The man couldn't wait and relieved himself into a water bottle in the hallway in front of his girlfriend with his back to two kids. They both went into the men's room, then came out and exited the store. I know it has nothing to do with the food or the service but it happened in your store. read more

What a great burger. They are always so tasty and ready in a very reasonable time frame. I love the peanuts that they give you while you wait. It is so good after a great night of partying or noon the next day hungover. They give you enough fries to feed an army too. Enjoy! read more

always the best burgers and fries! I find the portion sizes on the large size for the fries. I usually have to get a small for portion control. the free peanuts and the customizable coke products soda fountain give you a little something to snack on while your burger and fries are made fresh. careful, they can be hot! read more

I am a fan of the chain. The burgers are freshly prepared upon order and the fries are absolutely to die for (ask for the cajun spice on the side). Being open late is a plus. Downside was the girl taking the order was a little snotty. read more

I've had really good experiences every time I strolled into this place - fast, friendly, efficient and delicious. ONLY dodged 1 star because of an unusual experience at the place last night - the staff last evening seemed off the usual quality of service... There was some ghetto rap tunes in the back and at one point a customer came in through the front only to be badgered by some homeless dude that was trying to come in behind him, however, the workers seemed so disinterested with the situation (or perhaps more interested in talking to their buddy at the counter...) the customer walked out confused after standing there for 30 secs.. granted he was probably intoxicated but still just a nudge of recognition of the situation could gone a long way... read more

I love five guys. Visit them in DC and Boston all the time. But this one in South Beach is not quite up to their standards. Food was ok, and I like they serve beer. But one of their employees was taking a nap with her head down on a table right in the eating area. Random, somewhat sketchy people kept coming in through the exit doors and going into the bathrooms. One employee, who was ostensibly cleaning up, was more concerned about texting on her phone. This location definitely needs some adult supervision. read more

I live Five Guys. They have the best burgers and fries. But this one disappointed me. When I visited it first thing I noticed was the music they were playing. Hip-hop instead of regular classic rock and it was extremely loud. I ordered 2 burgers ( one for myself and one for my boyfriend ) those were so far the worst ever. The bun was old and hard like rock. The were cleaning the equipment in the kitchen and lobby 1 hr before closing. They took away the tea ( other thing I go to five guys for is their sweet tea). You cannot get a better burger and fries. So don't whine about your fries being soggy or your bleeding burger. They make the burger the way you asked for it and if your fires are soggy, you're at the wrong burger joint. read more

Who cares about In and out burger.. they are a fast food chain where 5 guys is not..So all you in and out people need to calm down. When In and Out comes to the east coast, then we can take the pepsi challenge. 5 Guys = Best burgers I have ever had. Place is always clean (besides peanut shells) Fries are a value as u get a bagful for 3.00 and they actually taste great! (extra blanching of the potatoes goes a long way!) Bottom line, worth the walk and wait for these burgers! Great price too! Theres nothing more to say. read more

Not a good choice for anything the way hubby and I tasted it! Burger did taste great but the bun and all the toppings on their Large (everything) was more toppings and than bun and beef. Lots of fries, yes more than 2 could eat but I don't think it was an actual loss of hunger but rather a loss of appetite since the condiments (BBq Sauce and Ketchup) as well as the fountain drinks were not that palatable. At it at around 2pm and tummy hurts now at 8:15 and has been. Free peanuts were better than the $17 for 2 meal...there were much better deals at the few restaurants just around the corner down stairs at the Clay Hotel where if our meter wasn't running out on us at the time we would have ended up eating! Next time we will make an extra trip to put more money in the meter. Sorry but the sings all over saying best burger are signs they may have used to be, but the last rating said 2009 but said no mention of month in 2009...this is 2010 I don't think they qualify for any awards! read more

I never really was a fan of burgers. Until I found this place. Their fries are enough for 2 people, the burger is soooooo good its a must if you are visiting the Beach. I take here everyone who comes in town and everybody loves it. read more
