    The employee Julio.

When i first walked in i got a sandwich it was good. Shortly after my friend came in (African American male ) and asked to use the bathroom the employee Julio was so rude and said that the restroom was only for payin customers. I then said hey that's my friend let him use the bathroom i just paid for food. He replied "okay so when he gets it dirty are you gonna go clean it?" I was floored for that to be the way he spoke.

Actually really great food. I need to stop eating everything just to leave good impressions but seriously good

I had to use this JJ as a last minute catering option & everything was horrible. The sandwiches were thrown together. The sole Veggie sandwich was all lettuce & no Avocado/Cucumber as I requested. While I was waiting for the order to be complete I used the restroom which was in disgusting condition. In addition to the 6-7 employees behind the counter, taking phone orders & overall messing around, no one seemed to understand cleanliness or utilizing gloves. I will never use JJ as a catering option.

Average subs, not the best you'll have, but def not the worst. They are comparable to Subway. I would say one of the reasons I go to Subway more is because they have a lot more options as far as meats, cheeses, veggies, breads, and sauces. This is def not a bad place for a quick lunch. I will say their jalapeño chips are prob some of the best I've had! And I will say that their service is usually very fast and efficient. If you're in the downtown area and looking for a fast, affordable lunch, this not a bad option. I'm sure I will end up here again.

I have always heard the commercials and thought the ads were pretty funny but had never tried their subs myself. I have been working in Downtown and this was conveniently located right downstairs. I have to say that they do have quick service. It is amazing seeing the delivery guys run in and out to grab a bag and jump on their bikes to deliver orders. They do know how to pump out food quickly. I will say that I did enjoy the sandwich. I think their bread is really fresh and tasty. Their meats, cheeses, and vegetables all taste really fresh. Overall, I definitely enjoyed it and will return to try the other options.

I am a regular Jimmy's customer because there are few places I can get a quick gluten-free sandwich for lunch. I love their #9 on an unwich. I was excited to see that they had a customer appreciation day yesterday, offering $1 subs. I read the fine print and sure enough, Unwiches were included! When my husband went to this Jimmy's to pick up our unwiches, they refused to honor the $1 price. He showed them the screenshot (which I will attach) that clearly showed unwiches were included. They said the franchise owner chose not to follow the corporate rules. Really unfair to anyone who can't eat wheat! As a Jimmy's regular, I don't think this is exactly customer appreciation. How can you go against corporate rules?? This marketing email was sent to thousands of people. It's not about the money, it's about the fact that this left me feeling the opposite of appreciated.

JJ idea of a vegan wrap. Lettuce, cucumber, tomato and cheese drowned in mayo. Biggest joke ever.
    Ute L.

If I could give a negative star, I would. Ordered a vegan wrap today, as part of a group office lunch (I would never chose Jimmy John's to begin with). What I received were two leaves of soggy iceberg lettuce, carelessly wrapped around a few skinny slices of cucumber, tomato and provolone cheese. The whole thing was drenched in watery mayo, disgusting. It went straight in the garbage. JJ needs to educate their employees on the meaning of vegan. Furthermore, lettuce and tomato do not qualify as "gourmet veggies". WTF? You're better off eating Burger King.

I work above this Jimmy Johns and constantly have issues with my order but today was the final straw. They literally made my lettuce wrap with this disgusting old lettuce and thought I wouldn't mind

Tuna sub I forget which one I couldnt wait!!!
    Charelle B.

My first time here went pretty good except I was obviously unsure of what to order as the cashier wasn't very helpful or friendly enough to try to coach me through the ordeal lol. However my tuna sub was ready crazy fast as I had hoped and it was delicious. Even though I'd typically have pickles, mustard, and banana peppers without lettuce.

I ordered napkins and condiments for my delivery and they never sent it. They never do even though I have complained in the past.

My husband and I were customers here one time. In the store, I saw almost no price tags for the merchandise. I drank the Immune Tropical Smoothie, which contained orange juice, banana, pineapple, and mango, and I rate its flavor as 5 stars. I also ordered the Ham-Cheese Arepa. An employee told me that it would take 5 minutes to make, but I had to wait significantly longer. My husband and I agreed that this arepa was a low quality. The cheese inside was cold, and the arepa overall did not taste good, so we ate only part of it. I rate it as 2 stars. The eating area outside was small but located near a walkway lined with pretty palm trees. The total price for both foods was $23.

Unfortunately, on several occasions, the avocado has been far from fresh. Instead, it's been completely brown, unappetizing, and not something I wanted to eat. I decided to give it another try, but once again, the avocado was brown. For the price of the avocado toast, I would expect fresh ingredients every time, not just occasionally. That said, the customer service here is always excellent. The staff is friendly, the place is very clean, and ordering by phone is quick and easy. I just wish the quality of the avocado was consistent enough to match the great service.

It's been a while since I've gone to a restaurant and the service and food quality was so amazing that it literally made me stop in my tracks but here we are! I started with a hot mocha latte. A Slice of Dominican New York... Right Here on Miami Beach…read more I've been coming to Ocean Deli since 2020, and I honestly can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. Maybe because people from New York know one universal rule: when you find a great neighborhood spot, you keep your mouth shut. You don't want your hidden gem becoming the next place where people wait in line because somebody on social media "discovered" it. Ocean Deli is one of the last authentic neighborhood delis left on Miami Beach. In a city filled with luxury hotels, trendy brunch spots, and restaurants charging resort prices for breakfast, Ocean Deli quietly does what it's been doing all along--serving great food, quickly, and at prices that still make sense. This is where the people who actually keep Miami Beach running come to eat. Hotel employees, construction workers, delivery drivers, city workers, first responders, and the locals who somehow managed to survive Miami Beach's rising cost of living. If you want to know where the real locals eat, this is it. The owner is Dominican and from the Bronx, and that New York Dominican bodega culture is written all over this place--in the best possible way. Walk through the door and you'll swear you just landed in Washington Heights or the Bronx. Bachata and merengue are playing in the background. The smell of fresh café con leche fills the room. The grill is always working. Conversations bounce around the deli like you've walked into someone's neighborhood hangout instead of a business. The ladies behind the counter are unmistakably Dominican--friendly, hardworking, efficient, and they keep the line moving without ever losing that neighborhood feel. The sandwiches are outstanding. Fresh bread, generous portions, and made the way sandwiches are supposed to be made. No unnecessary gimmicks. No tiny portions with fancy names. The café con leche deserves its own mention. Strong, smooth, and exactly what coffee should taste like. If you've spent any time in New York's Dominican neighborhoods, you'll recognize it immediately. The Dominican breakfast and lunch plates are equally impressive. Simple, authentic, flavorful comfort food that fills you up instead of emptying your wallet. Speaking of wallets... Ocean Deli might be one of the best values left on Miami Beach. While restaurants a few blocks away are charging you like they flew the eggs in first class, Ocean Deli is quietly serving quality food at prices that remind you Miami Beach wasn't always built just for tourists. Just know what you're walking into......This isn't a sit-down restaurant. You walk in, place your order, take your receipt to the register and pay. Then you wait a few minutes while the grill works its magic. When they call your order, you grab your food and you're on your way. That's how it's done here. Fast, efficient, and without all the unnecessary fanfare. Ocean Deli isn't trying to sell you an "artisan culinary experience." It's selling great sandwiches, authentic Dominican food, excellent café con leche, fair prices, and a little piece of Dominican-York right here on Miami Beach. Some places sell an image....... Ocean Deli sells breakfast and lunch. After six years of coming here, I wouldn't have it any other way. Just do yourself one favor: when you find yourself surrounded by tourists paying resort prices for an average meal, remember there's still one place on Miami Beach where the locals go. Now You Know
