We always enjoy Shake Shack, but this visit was a different experience for me since I am now gluten-free and it has been a big adjustment. I ordered the lettuce bun burger and it's actually preferable to the traditional bun! The big, frilly lettuce leaves add a crispness and freshness that makes the meal feel much lighter than usual. A warning, though: grab plenty of napkins as things can get really messy the closer you get to finishing your burger. The cheese fries with bacon are also really good, get them. I was especially happy that the Dubai chocolate shake is back on the menu since I didn't get to try it last year, however I was soon disappointed because it's more like a straight up pistachio butter shake and the chocolate is just for decoration/visual appeal. Not inherently bad, but not what was expected at all... They have filtered water dispensers in the self-service area. Recently I visited them during COVID and was pleased to see the additional measures being taken with online orders and social distancing. I usually order a SmokeShack (the cherry peppers are amazing!) and fries! If you order the bacon and cheese fries to go the toppings are on the side which isn't as great. I already have a review for a different Shake Shake location but I'm writing another one at this location to say one thing and one thing only...I just had the pumpkin milkshake here and IT IS ONE OF THE BEST MILKSHAKES I'VE EVER HAD. Super creamy and sweet and you can taste the marshmallow and nutmeg. Tastes exactly like pumpkin pie in a cup. It is seasonal so get one while you still can.
