We walked past Dave's Hot Chicken while exploring Wynwood and decided to give it a try after reading some of the reviews. We ordered using the touchscreen, and I picked the Reaper chicken tender. Even though I was warned about how spicy it was, I had to try it! I love spicy food, but honestly, this was the spiciest food I've ever had in my life! We took it home, and the Reaper was seriously intense. If you don't handle extreme heat well, I definitely recommend starting with Spicy or Mild instead. That said, even though it was insanely spicy, I actually liked it! The bread, fries, and pickles on the side helped take the edge off the heat. And here's a little tip: if your mouth is really burning, milk or ice cream works much better than water to cool things down! The service was fast, and the staff were friendly, so there were no complaints there. Overall, it was a fun experience and definitely something I'll remember. This place was so delicious and a perfect take on Nashville hot chicken. The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked, juicy, and well seasoned! You can order it at your level of spiciness and your flavor profile preference. I went with a two piece chicken tender meal, which comes with fries, pickles and bread. It is more than enough food because I could barely finish it for myself. I also ordered a M&M milkshake and they did not skimp out on the amount of M&Ms that were inside of my Drink! I actually couldn't finish it cause it was overwhelmingly good but too much in the best way! This place is located in Wynwood and stays open late, which is perfect if you're out for the night . I did not have the wherewithal to try the Reaper on this visit, but it's definitely on the list! I decided to begin with Medium and Hot. Hot is hottt, but bearable. The tenders are huuuge and the sliders are almost big enough to be considered a small sandwich. This casual spot is centrally located in Wynwood, although good luck finding a parking spot in this area. There are kiosks for ordering just as you enter, or you can also order at the counter if you prefer. Service is good. Moreover, the staff here have to put up with some bizarre happenings and did not miss a beat. While I was there, a man walked in from the street and he didn't seem well. He approached two young women seated by the door but they immediately got up and went into the women's restroom. He picked food off their table AND out of the trash, then left as soon as the manager rushed over to shoo him out of the restaurant. After walking an hour me and my boyfriend ended up here. We both had it but not in a while. I got the sandwhich and he got two tenders. Everything was pretty good .
