I recently came to McAlisters because of a nice Tmobile deal…read more We ordered through the app. Food was expected to be done by 5:50 PM. Upon arrival, it was not busy, there was one person waiting on their food, we saw that our orders on the screen, and there was only 3 orders total at the moment. However, we probably waited another 20 mins after. While we waited more people showed up, but our food was not getting done any quicker. People who ordered in person got their order first, and they came in at least 5-10 mins after we arrived. I have worked in the food industry, so I do understand that it gets busy, however when we came in time, it was announced that we were there to pick up the food. Only one employee apologized for how long it was taking. I would have thought that our food was going to be done first. The drinks were alright, we got the lemonade, and half sweet and unsweet tea. We ordered the King Club, Chicken salad Sandwich, Spicy Turkey Melt and the Max Spud. Mind you, these items were all half, so imagine waiting more than 30 mins total from the time we ordered to the time we got the food. The King club was good, the honey mustard added a nice sweetness. The Spicy Turkey melt was mid, I think it could do without the avocado. The Chicken Salad sandwich was good too, I love the little sweetness the cranberries added. The Max spud was also mid. I don't think I'm a baked potato kind of person. The vibes were like as if Panera and TooJays had a baby. Would come back for the food but service could improve.

Conveniently located on 53rd and 83rd, with tons of free parking and indoor and outdoor seating offered. Staff are super nice and friendly. They make fresh soups daily that are delicious and homemade. None of that pre-packaged garbage sold at chains. They also have a special of the day daily. For me, its's Tuesdays and Thursdays but all days are great. Tuesdays are taco Tuesdays - you can choose your choice of tacos and toppings. I recommend chicken and beef. On Thursdays, check out the Philly Cheese Steak and get it as it comes. It's so delicious!! The wraps are also fire. I love the Italian wrap. You can get it with as many fresh toppings as you want but their delicious honey mustard better be one of them. They have all types of wraps, subs, and salads. The place is immaculately clean at all times and the food is extremely fresh. You'll never find a brown vegetable or wilted lettuce. Prices are also very reasonable. They also have cuban coffee, breakfast items, and delicious venezuelan treats like tequeños. You can thank me later. Highly recommend you try my favorite Doral lunch spot. Let me tell you, the quest was long and hard. This place definitely filled a deep hole in reliable lunch spots of Doral.

They also state they offer delivery service but each time I've called and asked for delivery, "the driver is out sick this week." Today my order was taken in a hurry (not sure why Bc they aren't ever overly busy). I can tell she wasn't listening so I repeated it. She hung up and had to call back Bc she didn't get it all together. I picked up the order and was treated horribly. Came back to my office and 2 of the 6 were completely incorrect. I called and she tried to say it was my fault that she didn't understand me. I speak both English and Spanish fluently, AND I repeated the order in my initial call plus when she called back. I asked her to please bring me the correct food and she said she couldn't do that just Bc of a misunderstanding. Also, the way she speaks to the other worker that's there is downright degrading. Unfortunate Bc this place would be a great spot! The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the food is actually very good.

The sweet plantain paired perfectly with the savory beef, creating the ideal balance of sweet and salty flavors. My boyfriend ordered the cheese arepa. It was good, but nothing out of this world compared to everything else we tried. For drinks, I had their cold brew made with 100% Colombian coffee. It was incredibly refreshing, and adding two pumps of pistachio syrup took it to another level. My boyfriend ordered the caramel frappe and really enjoyed it as well. One thing I loved was the atmosphere. The decor has a very Colombian feel, which gives the space a lot of character. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to study, work, or just hang out for a while. Overall, great food, great coffee, and a welcoming environment.
