Generally, I am not a root beer fan, but there's nothing like homemade A&W root beer. The only thing better would've been a float, which is optional, but I did not order one. I ordered the fish-and-chicken platter, which came with two sides. I forgot how greasy the delicious food was. The location is dated and could use some major love, but the two staff members working did a great job of ensuring all the food was hot, fresh, and made to order.

I did take a photo and will post it. I ordered online for pick up and I did not want tomato, lettuce or mushrooms on my chicken Philly, but there's no way to customize on there. So that was a little disappointing because I had to basically pick out everything I did not want. The chicken meat was seasoned well, but a couple pieces almost had like a rubbery feeling that you could not bite through. The other sandwich had the same issue. The peppers, cheese and mayo was good. The hair on the tomato really grossed us out though. Fries were decent. They do have parking and a good selection of drinks.

They can't seem to open on time! I have been there six times within the last two months and they…read moreare either not there at all or just arriving thirty plus minutes late of their opening time which is 11:00 to 8:00 p.m. I think this has been going on forever, I just happened to stumble on this recently because I am trying to buy a pretzel on my way to work and not the usual time in the middle of the day on the weekends. I happen to be in the store--Meijer shopping with my significant other on a week work day around the 11:00 o'clock hour not realizing their hours at the time I was disappointed they were not open since I happened to be there shopping with him; however, I returned close to noon before going to work and it was pitch black in their corner! Wow, I said to the greeter/security guy, what time do they open? He said they running a little late today--they open at 11:00 and the first batch of pretzels are on the counter at that time. So I kept coming back before work a few times with the same negative results. I would arrive ten to fifteen minutes after 11:00, either they weren't there or just arriving pulling out their equipment. The crazy part about this is that it was different people most of the time except for one time it was the same person. This is why I say it's been going on for ever because they all were late! I am going out of my way in the opposite direction to work to get a pretzel with negative results every time! Other than not opening on time, their pretzels are delicious and I give them four stars for the taste, size and price. I happen to ask one of the servers/cashier about the $2.00 pretzel price I had heard about and she told me that the $2.00 price was only on Tuesday all day. I have not been able to confirm the $2.00 price yet via a paper menu or something because I would like to know is it only on Tuesday, which I would miss out since they cannot seem to open up on their scheduled time before I go to work, or is it Monday thru Thursday between certain hours that was mentioned in another review--I would like to know. I just confirmed the $2.00 Tuesday, I didn't ask but it probably started out $2.00 from a certain time during certain days when they first opened. I talked with the greeter again today on Saturday May 27, '17. He said look who over there, she opened up on time and the Pretzels were out & ready at 11:00. He went on to say they have opened up as late as after two o'clock. He said he personally know the owner and he said he can't find any body that wants to work. Today, there's a Caucasian woman working, the other days they were people of color--my color! I guess it's a "Black" thing?

I also afforded a quesabirria that came with consome, Spanish rice, and frijoles. For the tacos, I explicitly said that I wanted cilantro and onions on the tacos only. When I got home, there were lettuce, tomato, and quesa fresca, not cilantro and onion. I ordered in Spanish, so it's disappointing that the order was wrong. The taco dinner was not bad, nevertheless. They redeemed themselves with the quesabirria, though. The steak was proper. There is still something about Wha Taco that I can't pinpoint. I can't say if it's the empty parking lot all the time or if it's something missing in the flavor. It's not a bad pla e, but something is off.
