Out of fries, no curly fries either, no onion rings, no shakes, just overall horrible experience.

I have read some other reviews and would have to say that there must be some kind of alternate universe where this place is clean, the food good and a professional staff. So wrong on so many levels. Is this franchise an example of what NOT TO DO? I have never experience such a lack of professionalism and work ethic in my life. No one is ever at the register and if you do catch a glimpse of a non-working worker, they are just standing about, doing nothing or prepping............to do nothing. I hope you close and are replaced with a shop with a staff who earns their paycheck the old fashioned way. It's called hard and honest work. The Angus breakfast biscuit is wonderful. It would be nice to have another one. Now let me find a different store where they give a damn. Seriously guys, your staff is awful. As a manager, you should really be ashamed. read more

I have always loved Hardee's. My favorite is the Frisco burger. I went the other evening, and it looks as if I was just given a sandwich. I didn't get what I ordered. I was truly disappointed and hate that the drive thru is so lackadaisical. I understand working the drive thru isn't easy, but at least give the customer what they ordered. read more

Every now and then, I have a taste for some junk food. I happened to be in South Holland a few weeks ago, I saw the Hardee's sign and decided to stop by, because I haven't been to Hardee's in years. I literally remember when Hardee's used to sell Fried Chicken and Biscuits. That was a long time ago! Anyway. I ordered the Frisco Burger, absolutely delicious, but definitely unhealthy. Seriously, my chest hurt afterwards. It was worth it. The cashier recommended that I try their apple pies, once again, absolutely delicious, but so unhealthy. Forgive me for being facetious, but every now and then, you have to treat yourself to a heart attack special. read more

My first time at Hardees I would definitely be going back. The restaurant was extremely clean and the service was fast and friendly. That new barbecue rib burger sandwich they have is to die for I am definitely going back for this burger. It looked just like the picture & it tasted even better. read more

The food was very good hot and fresh and we didn't have to wait an overly long time for it either. The facilities were reasonably clean and stocked overall I would give you store five stars. You have a much better choice for food than just hamburgers. The young lady that served us was polite and professional and friendly. I'd like to add everyone who works there are really nice, so far I haven't encountered anyone rude. Everyone here always has a smile even if they're having a bad day. Could it be? Right after a bunch of Hardees opened (and closed) in the Chicago area in 2013/2014, we get a brand new one in 2016? Wheeeee! Okay, this automatically gets 4 stars because I love Hardee's. They have delicious burgers, their new brioche-ish buns (baked in-store) are fantastic, and their hand-breaded tenders are equally as good as Chick-fil-A's. They have great biscuit sandwiches during the breakfast hours (bigger than all other fast food biscuits), and this place is open 24 hours. But I'm docking them one star because something happened here that never happened to me anywhere else. The burger I ordered, while delicious, was so incredibly greasy that it literally disintegrated the cardboard box it came in. I should have taken a picture. The bottom of the box was just a pool of grease and onions and, to repeat, it actually soaked through the cardboard burger box. This burger wasn't sitting for a long time, either - I ate it in the parking lot and made a gigantic mess on my lap. A proud moment in my life if there ever was one. So yeah, note to the employees - make sure the burger isn't still a greasy blob of goo when you put it on the bun. Also, many Hardees have a type of value menu with a smaller fried chicken sandwich on it. I didn't see that here either. I'll update my review once I find out if they have it or not. Also, this location is attached to a huge new Love's truck stop, which seems to get a LOT of traffic, so be careful when pulling in and out. read more

Hardees is a hidden gem of the fast food industry. There char- broil burgers are great and every time I've been the service is great.

Walked in..one worker mopping, one worker sitting at the table...neither one of them greeted me as I walked into their restaurant...also when did Hardee's become more expensive than McDonald's?? Haven't been to Hardee's in 30 years and won't come back to this one based on the basics of running a restaurant. Next!! read more

This location is good. The bun for my hamburger seemed fresher than ones from other locations. At other locations the outside part of the bun always seemed to have a dry skin layer on the bun. Even the hamburger meat was heated up to a decent temperature. Some places it seemed like the cheese and meat patty were the same cool temperature. Yuck. Good service here. read more

First timer at Hardee's and did not know what to expect. Coupons in the newspaper and knowing that I would be in the area made me stop in with a friend for lunch. The eating area isn't very large, but it is very clean. You order at the counter and someone brings your food to the table. There are many items to choose from including a variety of different burgers, chicken tenders and sandwiches, fries and shakes and breakfast items as well. Additionally, there are many specials including $5 baskets which include a sandwich, fries, soda and cookie. I ordered the chicken tenders and they were quite good and seemed to be hand breaded. The coating wasn't too thick, it wasn't greasy and the chicken inside was moist. There were far too many chicken tenders in the order for me to eat at one sitting. I also ordered their $1 "slider" which was a steal! (Yes, you read that right, $1 for a solid little cheeseburger.) It had a delicious char-broiled taste and came with all the fixings. The only thing a little off was the bun to beef ratio, but that is easily overlooked for the taste. Also ordered their curly fries which were lightly seasoned and crispy. There is a drive-thru which is open 24-hours as is the restaurant. Good burgers, good fries, clean restaurant. All good. read more

This could be the worst burger I have ever had at any location, fast food or not. The meat tasted like it was cooked a week ago and then warmed up. Hope it improves we need a Hardee's in the area. read more
